IRS Targets Five Illegal Trusts The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has started cracking down on five types of trusts that they have judged to be illegal. The IRS says that, of the three million active trusts in the U.S. today, nearly 6%, are considered "highly suspicious." And, according to the IRS’s director of Operation for Criminal Investigations, even if you are just a buyer of one of these trusts, you can face fines and jail. Keep in mind, however, that not all trusts are being targeted by the IRS, and the government has said that the majority of trust holders have nothing to fear. Millions of individuals and businesses are using trusts to set aside funds for certain individuals, corporations or organizations and are not the focus of this campaign. The trust arrangements that concern the IRS ignore the true ownership of assets or the substance of transactions. According to the IRS, promoters of these illegal trusts have made the claim that they allow the owners to retain full benefit of business or personal assets while reducing or eliminating taxes. The arrangements usually involve more than one trust. For example, a person may put business assets in an unincorporated business trust, transfer its business equipment to an equipment trust, place his home in a family residence trust, and set up a foreign trust to hold the other trust units and to receive trust income. In short, it's a "family of trusts" and the IRS says they are created solely to evade taxes. Again, I usually make allot of mistakes, when I react, or act on emotion, rather than intellect. So, observe, be informed, but hold back. Avoid willingly jumping into the fray they want you to jump into. You will be glad you did. So, lastly, we should all be seeing the hand writing on the wall, the flickering pervasive image on the man cave wall, as Phoenix says... The RV..will not be about fancy cars and news toys..as much as it just might be our lifeboat, in a coming economic maelstrom. have a plan, and plan to act. This coming week, has more promise than ever. I don't look at specific dates, as that course has only been painful past experience. Instead, see this week, regardless of your chosen lens, as as a strong window for this RV to come about. And be ever grateful, you may just be apart of a small group ( comparatively speaking ) that heard the call, and in blind trust acted upon, a saving grace. Proteus (My REAL Bank Story! – 30 july 2011 – Bank of America): DV 7/30/11 Ok Friends, Here ya go… I listen to Tony Breitlings audios regularly, as I like his logical train of thought, So, I learned that asking the right questions will get you the right answers…. and that regularly he states that when he cashes in, he’s just going to go to BofA, and that regularly everyone says it so much cheaper to go to ALI or other places, that only charge a FLAT RATE for the exchange(Ali says $150 per Million IQD), instead of going directly to a local bank of my choice… everyone has heard this… Well Now here is my story… I have avoided getting involved in Rumors or BANK STORIES, on purpose, cause I hold my cards close to the chest in games like this… So today the Bank of America is open from 9am to 2pm on Saturdays, and I go in to cash a check, and use my debt card to avoid monthly account charges!
