Gary :BEFORE 1989, THE IQD WAS A STAND WORLD CURRENCY.  IT WAS TAKEN OFF THE MARKET AND PUT ON THE EXOTIC CURRENCY STATUS, BUT...IT CAN BE CHANGED AT ANY  POINT, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE MARKET INCREASES.

7-20-2012 Gary (PTR): There are a number of negotiations going on. Our understanding at this point is the U.S. went to the UNSC to ask them to get involved with the border issue and it was vetoed last time but they asked China to give them permission not to veto it and then they could RV at this point.

China did veto it though.  We think China is waiting for us to move forward first. There are some political dynamics that involve international activities.

That's one of the things we think might be having an impact on things.

Dan :(PTR) I cannot believe it's July 18th 2012 and we still don't have a RV.  It is supposed to happen before the 23rd though. We've all heard the 19th is a possibility. I go into every week thinking this could be the week. Everyone is looking for something to take place. We all need this.

 I think we're right at the end of this thing. The people we speak to are very serious people, which allows us to think that way. Nothing negative has happened since Monday. It just hasn't happened yet.

7-13-2012 Tony (PTR): It is done.  It is completely done. This has nothing to do with Iraq.  It's already been activated. The whole situation with Maliki is just for show.

Every single one of our contacts are saying it's done and we could see a RV today. The most important thing for this RV is that Iraq remains politically stable. I'm looking and hoping that this will be over this afternoon.

That is what I think is smart and what I'm hearing. I'm fine with knowing that Iraq's political situation is stable and it's all a show. I'm fine with knowing that the RV is already completed.

I'm happy where we're at and I think it could happen this afternoon. I know information that I can't share with you because it's too sensitve that leads me to believe this is done.

7-12-2012 Dan (PTR): We have some very good contacts who are telling this is done. When I say it's over, I mean it's over as far as their concerned.

It still needs to show live. We still don't understand what the holdup is. There are still people telling us they are at the bank still. I'm not going to the bank yet until this is over.

7-9-2012 Dan (PTR): Friday and Saturday, we thought for sure this would be over by now. None of those contacts are answering the phones this morning now that it hasn't happened. We know you're frustrated today, just as we are. I really believe we are really close to things that are supposed to be done. We'll be back at 9pm est for another call and will share more. We're trying to get some information today to find out where we're really at.

7-9-2012 Tony (PTR): We're waiting until this afternoon to confirm some stuff.  I understand everyone being frustrated but I probably heard 15 times over the weekend we would have a RV within 15 minutes. I listen to all this intel and don't get excited about any of it, I've just been listening to it for too long.

 I'm still positive though from looking at the numbers from the bank people who are still telling me the rate is pending. Whether it's in 3 minutes, 3 hours or 3 days I'm still positive it's coming.  So, that's what keeps me going.  I can tell you some great things happened in Washington meetings and some black armored vehicles delivered some money in Iraq. Everything is in place for a RV to happen today. I'm not riding the roller coaster, I'm just know we're going in the right direction and close.

they had to apply for and obtain the SBA loans (didnt have to use them) as a prerequisite to get the paris club debt relief that is given in 3 increments and based on completion of the IMF stips....another stipulation was that the 2 banks had to be updated and restructured and balance sheets ready and updated by june 30th 2010.......cont....
