Mobile Users having issues accessing website

We just got notice from our web person that he figured out what happened.  He made a change this afternoon, and did not realize the effect it would have on all the mobile users.  He apologizes for any inconvenience to our users, and the issue should be fixed now.  Woo HOOO, now let's RV.  Comments are closed now in this thread.


We are opening up the comments to help other users who are having issues accessing Dinar Recaps.  Our service provider made a change that now some mobile users are can not access the site.  Here is a email I received tonight.

As of today I can NO longer get the mobil version on my Blackberry although I haven't done anything different. When I type in www.DinarRecaps.com on my Blackberry it goes to the FULL VERSION website instead of the mobile site. There is also NO longer any button at the bottom where I can click on "Mobile" version or "Full Version".
Please help! Thanks. I need my DinarRecaps on my Blackberry. Boo hoo...

Dinar Recaps has some very knowledgeable people who can help.  If you have a solution for our mobile users, please explain what settings or advice you have.

I am on iPhone and cannot get the mobile site despite clearing files, history, and cache. I still get the full site. Help!!

I use an iPhone and cannot view your site in the mobile format. I can see the site but only in "Full" format as one might view it on a PC or laptop computer. It is rather difficult to use this way on a mobile device. I'd appreciate anything that could be done to return it to a mobile version/format. Thanks.

I am also having issues viewing the Dinar Recaps site on my Android device. The formating is different and is not as easy to read on my phone. I can still pull up the site, but the text is really small and not automatically formatted to fit my phone like it used to.

I also can only get the FULL VERSION of the website on my smartphone, not the MOBILE version. It just started this afternoon. This is an Android phone, Thanks.

I have an android phone and having the same problem. I check this site several times a day and its now my main site since I have to use my phone to access the internet and can't get into the chat rooms. I really appreciate how you keep up with all the latest posts. Thanks for your help. God bless

Yes. But it isn't nearly as user friendly as the regular mobile display.

Yes, I am very experienced using my phone, thank you. The mobile version went away somewhere between 2 and 5pm EST. I would prefer to view the mobile version, as I check this site often for updates.

Yes, we know about resizing, but to get the paragraph narrow enough to fit on the screen now is like going from 10pt font to 4 pt font. If I turn my phone to landscape, the font is more like 5 pt. Still very small to read.

Hello Dinar Recaps,
I am also having problems getting onto recaps on my phone. I do not have a smrt phone I have a regular phone that I can get onto aol with where I get the emails sent and then open the email and read the updates that way. I access the twitter and the home page just not the blog page. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Double tap your finger on the screen. Then drag the screen to the left position of the page. The text even reformats to your screens size. You can also resize pinching to screen in or out with your fingertips. Excuse my lack of terminology... This only applies to Droid and iPhone...sorry to the blackberry.

I have a driodX2 and I just tried to bring up dinarrecaps.com and had no problem. Works same as usual.

Perhaps your service provider could give us a mobile application again like you used to have, because the full version uses up too much memory and battery to use on a blackberry. You also can't effectively simply resize the text. Thanks. I can't get throughout the day without you.

I have an iPhone to. Instead of following them by email I use Twitter and the mobile site style of posts still are available when you view them through twitter

If you will go to the home screen of dinar recaps,scroll to the bottom of the page, you will see a plcae that says Mobile site. Click on it. then it will take you page that says menu at the top, click menu, it will have all of the different pages including blog. Also at the bottom of that page there is a button that says mobile or full site. Hope that helps

I am also having the same problems as described above by numerous other members!
It started this afternoon while visiting the
Recap blog site. I thought the elusive RV
had caused the computer confusion!
But then I realized it happened because
Shabs dog had probably let loose with the
rate and date which apparantly messed
everything up! Oooops!!!

I have an iPhone. Instead of the email follow them through twitter. All of the posts are in mobile format. When you view their email update post it will go to the full-page version. In the greetings paragraph click on BLOGS link and it will switch to mobile version. I think this workaround works only if you're accessing through Twitter.
