They only gave the NA 7 days to find a replacement when they held the last meeting in Najaf!! It now appears this is the next “benchmark” (Saturday). I think everyone feels it will go lots smoother with a candidate out of the NA. Probably will result in most of the rest of the  government remaining intact.

A source reveals: the leaders of the rule of law are looking for an alternative to the owners and the last leaves, threatening to prevent the threatened withdrawal of confidence from him

BAGHDAD / Knights of hope

A source familiar with the leaders of a coalition of law suffers the start of the crisis in the selection of a replacement for Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, in case of withdrawal of confidence with him, pointing out that Ali and Hasan al-Adeeb, Haider al-Abadi, and are the leading contenders.

The source, who preferred anonymity, said that “there are undecided in addressing the topic would amount to a state of crisis between leaderships of state law in a successor to al-Maliki, and the fear of exit it from their hands to the outside of their fractious as the Sadrist movement has hinted at the possibility of the nomination of Qusay Suhail, First Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives as one of the owners of the bench, “noting that” the leaders of other state law refuses to choose a replacement for al-Maliki is put forward as replacements for the construction of class. ”

This looks really serious for Maliki – his own inner circle is openly looking for a replacement for him in the event of a successful “no confidence” vote against him. I really think they will wait too long, Jaafari will be the “caretaker” PM and their only shot at avoiding complete dissolution will be to stick with Jaafari…afterwards.

Maliki orders to send hundreds of elite troops and spread around the house of al-Sadr in Najaf

A source in the Office of the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces for the decision to send hundreds of elite troops to Najaf and spread in areas leading to the house of the leader of the Sadr movement, Muqtada al-Sadr.
The source explained that “the Prime Minister, Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces Nouri al-Maliki issued an order to send 400 fighters of the” Brigade 56 “or” Baghdad Brigade “of the Office of the Adjutant General on the implementation of the duties related to the security of the Prime Minister, as well as dozens of anti-terrorism forces and the” band Swat “to deploy in areas leading to the house of Mr. Sadr.”

The source noted that “the decision of the Commander in Chief to escalate the confrontation with the Sadr, whose movement are widely used in recent times in coordination with Maliki’s opponents, is part of a plan to address each of the threatened and open their own files that are used in a timely manner to harm them and the continued presence in power” .
To the new leader of the Sadr movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, his criticism of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki said in response to a query to one of his supporters, “Glory to to see people, roosting on a chair as prime minister for many years, and the villages and regions do not reach the water services, electricity or any sort of other services “.

This and some coming news against Maliki will be the final “nails in the coffin”. I don’t foresee him resigning – there was some talk about it. Wishful thinking. He sent Special Forces troops in to “intimidate” Sadr. Not wise. IMHO – this will only speed the process.

Araji: Some leaders of the coalition is seeking to aggravate the crisis and then be a substitute for Mr. al-Maliki

“Readings,” said the head of the Liberal Bahaa al-Araji, the absence of any intention to withdraw from the National Alliance, saying that the bloc was the reason for his presence, noting that the Alliance would withdraw confidence from the Prime Minister in the absence of commitment to reforms.

More talk from inside the NA about some of the players looking to capitalize on Maliki’s “soon coming downfall”. Serves him right!!

Maliki berated the Sadrist movement … and your Prime Minister and behind the deterioration of services and on the chest to stop Mhajmta

A source close to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki for the latter met the second man in the Sadrist movement, Mustafa Yacoubi and informed him that the government’s failure to provide services bear Sadrist ministers, while stressing that the release of prisoners from the Sadrist movement is not a prerogative of the Prime Minister.

The source said that Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki met a few days ago Assistant leader of the Sadrist movement, Mustafa Yacoubi, and asked him the last to improve the situation of services and releasing prisoners from the Sadrist movement and give the position of the Ministry of Interior of the Sadrist movement, where is Mustafa Yacoubi the second man in the Sadrist movement, and the first assistant to the current leader Moqtada al-Sadr.

There’s a lot of finger wagging going on here!! Both in the pictures and in the article. I don’t see how any rational person can imagine that the Sadrists have any liability in the services category whatsoever?? Sadr has been a champion for services and Maliki’s Shiite thugs have controlled this debacle from the beginning!! Maliki is trying to deflect some blame.

He’s about to get a special party in the Parliament building!! He’ll be the guest of honor

Here are some interesting headlines…

Office of the foremost authority in Najaf al-Maliki’s supporters sites lie and deny support to the latter

Mayahi: Maliki withdraw confidence from the three presidencies will waste

They are trying to say if Maliki goes…so do the 3 presidencies, Taliboni, Najafi, etc, etc. I don’t think either of them care either way. The big loser here would be Maliki.

Kurdish lawmaker: The delivery of the resignation of Barzani, Talabani to the evidence that a unified stance towards the current crisis

Talibani is just enforcing his commitment to solving this crisis – even at the risk of his own job. Which Maliki has threatened a few times – Talibani is just calling his bluff.

White bloc refused to withdraw confidence from the government of Maliki

I hope these 6 stooges get what they have coming to them. They deserted the IS and are supporting Malarky (for a price, of course – about 500,000 USD each).

Sinead: National Alliance to respond to a message Najaf Saturday

This is key!! They only gave them 7 days to find a replacement!! That’s it…

Deputy for Iraq: there is still an opportunity for the Prime Minister to implement the provisions of the agreements
