The US said Saddam simply had to go

His tyranny nature was just bad and low

Well George and Dick came up with a plan

They thought of a way to take out this man

We gathered our troops...the brave and the strong

And went to a war that was thought to be long

The war was expensive but more of a cost

Were the lives of the brave men and women we lost

Many years later our troops moved out

Was the Country ready? Some people had doubt

Now back in the US some folks got a hint

Buy the pretty money and you’ll make a mint

So many people have now hung their hopes

On this saga with more twist and turns than soaps

All of the sudden new things were learned

And many people into gurus they turned

Some of them feel that Iraq holds the key

Others feel that banks are Queen Bee

There’s Hammer and Blaino and Wang Dang the man

Footforward, Studley and Soonerfan

Bella and Poppy and of course OKIE as well

And D, T and G who's calls are just swell

So now we are watching those we call the FAB 5

And wondering if Makiki is indeed still alive

We watch Talabani, Najif and Sadar

But most of us think Shabibi is the star

So please hang in there the ride’s almost done

Some day we’ll look back and see this as fun

For now spend this time to prepare to be rich
