[xyz] Hamoudi: parliament to endorse crucial law drafts Tuesday, 31 July 2012 18:57 Baghdad (AIN) –The head of the Parliamentary Committee for the Foreign Affairs, Humam Hamoudi, stated that he has suggested in the last term of the parliament to form a committee for following up the pending law drafts in order to do them and submit to the parliament.
He stated to All Iraq News Agency (AIN) "The parliament is going to vote on some crucial law drafts that provide warranties to the democratic project such as the Federal Court." "Forming a new Independent High Electoral Commission will also be endorsed by the parliament in order to have an independent and incorrupt commission," he added, noting that
"Some other law drafts that are important will also be endorsed such as the Oil and Gas law draft." "If the parliament agreed in its last term on my suggestion, we would not witness the current crises," he concluded.

[blueblaze1962] You know what I find very interesting, how we all hang onto the words of people we have never met as though the world begins and ends with them. I think it is prudent and wise to listen to what is out there, take it evaluate it and then move on as none of us knows exactly when this will be done. We know it will be done at some point in time but there isn't one of us here that knows the exact, date or rate. So focusing so much time and energy on what someone said or didn't say seems to be a huge waste of energy. But hey that's just my little silly blonde opinion..you can take it or leave it
