8-3-2012 Hammerman: Several Iraqi leaders were on Iraqi TV today & said that Iraq would be revaluing their currency in the very near future & it would be stronger than the pre-Seddam rate. So, that has to be at least a better value than $2.72.
I received phone calls from Iraq from 2 different people that Mailiki, Shabibi & 3 ministers were on Iraq TV & they strongly indicated that the people on the TV were the newly seated GOI. Bloomberg stated today that there would be a revaluation of currencies & a global realignment in the near future.
I had a phone call from China, Madam Wu, & before I was disconnected, I got that the process was moving forward to the end of the line. My feeling, my gut is we will not see this until after Ramadan, I would look between Aug. 25th and Sept. 25th.
Intel says the complete opposite, that it will happen any minute. Everything is moving in a good manner, info from Iraq is great, the news is splendid.
