101 Unusual Quotes on Fear for Living the Bold Life by Tess Marshall

1. Fear is the worst kind of grave, because it buries one alive. ~ Beth Fantaskey

2. What you fear will not go away; it will take you into yourself and bless you and keep you. That’s the world, and we all live there. ~ William Stafford

3. There are two basic motivating forces: fear and love. When we are afraid, we pull back from life. When we are in love, we open to all that life has to offer with passion, excitement, and acceptance. We need to learn to love ourselves first, in all our glory and our imperfections. If we cannot love ourselves, we cannot fully open to our ability to love others or our potential to create. Evolution and all hopes for a better world rest in the fearlessness and open-hearted vision of people who embrace life. ~ John Lennon

4. Fear kills everything. Your mind, your heart, your imagination. ~ Cornelia Funke

5. Children have a lesson adults should learn, to not be ashamed of failing, but to get up and try again. Most of us adults are so afraid, so cautious, so ‘safe,’ and therefore so shrinking and rigid and afraid that it is why so many humans fail. Most middle-aged adults have resigned themselves to failure. ~ Malcolm X

If there is strain and stress now what could it be like if and when there is a major windfall?  It may not always be the lack of money but the control of it or something else -  Hopefully this will shed a little light and give you some things to consider -

Love & Money: Is There Balance In Your Relationship?
By Mark Petroff. Posted on Mar 16th 2012.

Do your finances cause tension in your relationship?

Many relationships face intense stress and anxiety over money issues. It seems that love and money have an important connection with couples.

Perhaps your current relationship is feeling the impact of this connection now. How would you rate your relationship on a 1-10 love and money scale, where one is how loving and passionate your connection is and ten is the degree to which you have mastered your money concerns?

For instance: a 10/10 would be the best of everything; you're in intimate love and ecstatic passion with one another and you feel absolute financial certainty and freedom (where you don't ever have to work, unless you want to, and you never have to worry about your bills being paid, since the returns from your secure and growing investments easily cover any expenses you could have).

Again another article and another example where balance is so important - Wealth has a price to pay as does poverty - Sometimes health and other factors are used to gain the wealth -- only to cost our wealth later on to regain the health - even if that is possible -

Extremes are not healthy  but are necessary in order to know and recognize the opposite -- So let us have healthy doses of passion/desire/selfishness/kindness/aggressiveness/empathy  etc to accomplish our goals and have a rich rewarding life --

Research Shows Wealth and Selfishness Align

Does Money Make Us Mean?   By:  Elaheh Nozari Posted on July 9, 2012

A recent article in New York Magazine shed light on the correlation between wealth and social skills. LearnVest covered some of the research a few months ago, focusing on the relationship between wealth and empathy.

We dissected some of the findings of University of California at Berkeley researcher Paul Pilff and his team, who found that the wealthier you are, the less adept you might be at reading emotions.

But that’s not all. More studies show that wealth, brain behavior and social class have a lot more to do with one another than degrees of empathy.

There are things to be  considered for sure when falling  into the  category of "extremes" - A perfectionist/spendthrift  is no healthier than a slob/penny pincher - they are both out of balance and when their  paths cross - and they will - they both  can learn from each  other to become more balanced -- IF they choose to - each extreme has consequences

Frugal People Need Spenders Like Money Needs a Wallet    By Annie Schutte

I’d like to say that there’s some wonderful and mysterious origin story that that explains who I am today, but it came about due to the most common and banal reason around: I was born and bred by two thrifty parents.

Having two cheap parents is the worst. New clothes shopping involved a trip to the fabric store to get materials for the three identical jumpers my mother would make me before school started; vacation every year was a drive to New Jersey to hang out at the pool in my grandmother’s retirement community; and the big splurge of the week happened on Friday when my mother would give me 35 cents to get an ice cream sandwich in the cafeteria at lunch.

Comments will be open on this topic for those who would like to share their thoughts & experiences with suffering from perfectionism or living  with someone who suffers --  Comments  will be available for  viewing upon approval

Anyone suffer from this or live with someone who does?  I kinda fall  in this category and it can be a two edged sword for sure -- It was extremely a benefit when I had my own cleaning business - I  organized  everyone's  pantry and linen  closet etc -- no one ever  went  behind me -

It does not bother me to be this way - it only bothers me when I can't get things perfect lol -- I think there may  be a fine line between  perfection and  excellence maybe ??

There are things to be  considered for sure when falling  into the  category of "extremes" - A perfectionist is no healthier than a slob - they are both out of balance and when their  paths cross - and they will - they both  can learn from each  other to become more balanced -- IF they choose to - each extreme has consequences

I do find myself accepting the 80% more than  I  use to because  of time restraints  and wanting  to do toooooo much - I hope you enjoy the article --

The Curse of Perfectionism   By Dr. Donald E. Wetmore

There's a rule known as the Pareto Principle. It teaches us that 20% of our efforts produce 80% of our results. The additional 80% of our efforts will only yield an additional 20% of results.

This is a powerful message and I have not even read the book yet - it is on order though -- Not everyone will agree with this approach to healing and that is okay - we all evolve by way of our experiences differently and at different speeds -  We also have our own way of perceiving and processing information -- and that too is okay - I hope you will allow yourself to read this and be open to and receptive to your own healing --  Comments will be open and will be available for public viewing  upon approval.

Leading An Authentic Life by Dr. Katie Garnett

Who do you think you are?

Most of us have an idea of who we are, how we feel, how we behave socially and also, how we are deep down inside. We play roles within our family, at work, at play, and in our community. We have our secret hearts, the way we think we are that no one else knows, the way we wish we were and the ways that we fear we are.

Who you think you are has a lot to do with your original DNA programming and who you really are at your Core has nothing to do with your original DNA programming.
