Oil announces rise in exports during March to their highest levels since 1980

The Ministry of Oil in Baghdad, Sunday, a rise in oil exports for the month of March to more than 70 million barrels per month revenues exceeded eight billion dollars, stressing that such exports are the highest since 1980, as pointed out that it will increase its oil exports during the current year 2012, to 2.0006 million barrels.

Jihad said that "the total exported quantities of crude oil for the month of March last, from the Basra oil reached 59 million and 427 thousand barrels at a rate of 1,000,917 barrels a day," adding that "the volume of oil exports from Kirkuk oil amounted to 12 million and 400 thousand barrels at a rate of 400 thousand barrels a day. "
The official emphasized that "the quantities mentioned were uploaded by international oil companies, which carry different nationalities from the ports of Basra and Khor al-Amaya and port floating on the Persian Gulf and Turkish port of Ceyhan on the Mediterranean and truck by truck to Jordan," pointing out that "the Ministry is seeking to increase its oil exports to 2.0006 million barrels per day during the year 2012.
