Urgent …Iraqi National Alliance calls for a formal alternative to “immediate” for Maliki
Twilight News/ demanded that the Iraqi List, Sunday, the National Alliance to “immediate replacement” for Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki that respects the Constitution and the principles of partnership “and his critics called the plotters”, usually al-Maliki “imminent danger” to the political process in the country.
The spokeswoman said the Iraqi List MP Maysoon al reported in a statement to “Twilight News”, “It became clear that Maliki does not want to hear any criticism or opposition, or the exercise of peaceful democracy in the framework of the law stems from the merits of the Constitution.”
Damluji explained that al-Maliki “to take all calls from criticizing or criticize his behavior according to the constitution and all the talk of a peaceful and democratic manner Palmtamr, Here is the so-called Iraqi leaders, along with hundreds of deputies by the conspirators as long as they are demanding the withdrawal of confidence.”

The Damluji, “This it is evidence of anything, it shows that this man refused to reject the principles of partnership, and refused to reject the principles of reconciliation, and refused and refuses to work under the Constitution, which poses a huge threat to the political process already suffering from his uniqueness political decisions, security, service and economic and it is impossible joint work with al-Maliki. ”
Called Damluji National Alliance initiative “and immediately to the selection of an alternative coalition, and respects the Constitution and respects the partnership does not designate his critics plotters, especially as they have paid a great sacrifice to resist dictatorship repugnant in the previous regime, and build democratic political process based on the higher national interests and the Iraqi constitution” .
“they have paid a great sacrifice to resist the repugnant dictatorship of the previous regime” – Very strong choice of words if you ask me. They aren’t backing off a soon coming vote. Maliki and the SLC goons might get something done in the mean time – but they had better hurry!!
Iraq: to question al-Maliki in parliament will be in two axes
BAGHDAD / electronic integrity
Revealed the Iraqi List, on Sunday, a meeting between the Iraqi List and the Kurdistan Alliance and the Liberal bloc to discuss and determine the questions to be addressed to Prime Minister Maliki in the House of Representatives after the rejection of the President’s demand to withdraw confidence from the government.
The MP said the list Qusay Fri’s newspaper “integrity of electronic” had been put questions to be addressed to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki during a questioning session in parliament, adding that the questions will be in the form of two axes first axis, including for violations of constitutional and second axis about financial corruption made in the institutions State.
He explained that the trend between the first gathered in Erbil, Najaf was about to withdraw confidence from Maliki, but the President does not have enough conviction on the subject. He was President Jalal Talabani, Saturday, to resign if forced to change his convictions, and when he said that his office requires impartiality and unity, he stressed that he would not stand against the “Shiite majority,” which does not represent the Sadrist movement, only a quarter of their number in parliament.
They have been talking about the mechanisms for the coming “questioning” and a “secret ballot” to follow, openly - for some time now. Maliki is in serious trouble. Talibani, VP Biden, Maliki or even President Obama - no one person can stand against the will of the people…no matter how powerful they are. I suspect it’s possible we see a last-minute deal. But then again – maybe not. Either way – the clock is ticking.
Supreme Council: This week will see a breakthrough crisis, and that all show flexibility
Favored the Islamic Supreme Council, Sunday, to witness a breakthrough this week in the political crisis and more positive solutions by bringing together political parties, calling on everyone, especially a coalition of state law to show flexibility with the initiative of its leader Ammar al-Hakim.
The leader of the Council Abdul-Hussein Abtan in an interview for “Alsumaria News”, “the leader of the Islamic Supreme Council Ammar al-Hakim began several days before the initiative seriously to raise the political parties to try resolving the current political crisis,” noting that it “calls from political parties, especially state law show more flexibility and acceptance of dialogue. “
Abtan added that “there is a consensus on the need to get out of this crisis and the possibility of a common denominator between the parties,” but he also said, “but that depends on the size of the flexibility shown by state law to begin the dialogue is clear and serious between everyone.” Abtan predicted that “this week, witnessing a breakthrough in the crisis and more pros to gather the political parties out of the crisis.”
This is mostly speculation on what Hakim would like to see. Not so much what is actually happening. There may be a deal in the works – but the main problem has always been the “terminal delays”. Allawi has already said he would take the deal they offered….but the stipulation is they get on it immediately. No more “horsin’ around”!! We’ll see if they really mean it or this is one more ploy by Maliki and the SLC to delay past some “looming deadline”. I get the impression everyone is on board with proceeding if he doesn’t have things ironed out by about Thursday…
Military: Maliki will not meet the chest and the rule of law is ready to implement the Convention on Arbil
BAGHDAD / Mohammed Tayeb
Denied a member of a coalition of state law and the existence of Sami al-Askari a meeting soon between Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and the cleric Moqtada al-Sadr.
He said the military told (Orr) “There is a meeting between Maliki and Sadr in the coming period,” explaining that “a coalition of state law is ready to dialogue with everyone to resolve outstanding differences between them.” The military said that a coalition of state law convinced of the need to speed up convening of the national meeting and an end to disputes and the application of what has been agreed in the Convention on Irbil. “
The confirmation of the absence of the meeting after that picked up some local media about a meeting held recently in Najaf between Sadr and Maliki to discuss the current political crisis. Al-Maliki and Sadr have conducted two days before a telephone conversation dealt with the current political situation and the crisis of confidence and said close to the prime minister said the call was positive.
I would tend to believe this piece is pretty legit – it appears to be coming from the Iraqi military and is pretty much right down the line with what I have said all along about the military. They are keeping tabs on things but are trying to stay out of the “direct politics”. Their intel is probably good and like true military authors – no BS. Just the facts. Both the SLC and Sadr have denied these calls meant anything – but with Allawi ready to take the deal, Sadr needs to know what the options are as well. Doesn’t mean they won’t have a vote on Thursday…just means they are all curious if Maliki is serious this time.
Deputy for the law: ready for the implementation of the Convention to reduce the demands of Irbil, provided the political blocs
Baghdad (news) … Announced by the State of Law MP / National Alliance / Secretary Hadi Abbas, for his coalition is ready to implement all the agreements provided that reduces the political alliance of Arbil – Najaf national demands.
Abbas made clear in a statement (of the Agency news) on Sunday: that the coalition of state law would not object to the implementation of all agreements, rather than resorting to withdraw confidence from the al-Maliki, adding that the decision to withdraw the trust must include the three presidencies, not only al-Maliki.
Lets hope they are serious this time. We’ll know soon enough. As a side note – these goof balls keep on with the silly threats – they are saying if Maliki is removed then Talibani and Najafi have to go as well. Not much of a threat since Talibani is likely going to resign no matter what (soon) and Najafi has already said if the only thing holding Maliki in place is his job – don’t wait on him to resign - JUST DO IT ALREADY!! He really is a stand-up guy!!
Here are some interesting headlines…
Urgent …Maliki, a special security report reveals “the involvement of” regional countries yesterday’s bombings and “shortcomings in the security plans
You watch – the next words out of his mouth will be “we need tighter security so I have to be completely in charge”. Fake bombings and then blame it on someone else is how nearly every dictator in history has managed to wrest control from the people (we might want to take note – ourselves).
Iraqi Deputy for white: the regional situation does not allow the withdrawal of confidence from the al-Maliki should be given an opportunity to reform
The Waffle House gang has been getting CRACK on those pancakes – really?? Maliki should be given a chance to REFORM??
State law emphasizes that the interrogation of al-Maliki will lead to a coup “against the magician magic”
They keep jabbering about some 4th quarter miracle – sounds alot like Saddam did right at the end – huh?!?
*** Rumor Comments *** June 17th!!
Rumor – I got confirmation Maliki has resigned. He signed off on everything. He’s not going anywhere anytime soon though. Maliki’s resignation was time stamped for October. The only thing that can stop the RV would be civil unrest.
If he resigned – why would he “sign-off” on anything?? The whole point to his resignation is for them to make changes because he would not “sign-off”??? Once he resigns or is removed by vote – he will be removed immediately…and it will be carried on FOX NEWS!! You won’t need this guy whispering it in your ear. DeBumked!!
Rumor – We were set to RV last night. It was supposed to go yesterday but the bombings that took place stopped it. Banking activity last night was phenomenal!! Iraq dinar started out at 41 cents at bank screens. Last speculated rate was above $3.50. The VND was at 11 cents, speculated to go to 15 to 16 cents.
There was no legitimate change at the bank level – because Iraq is still embroiled in this current crisis. Unless something happens right away we’ll be at this on Monday and this is just more goof ball blabber. The 3.50 (not way above) number is believable but the VND at 15/16 cents is foolishness.
Rumor – Banks are saying the RV will go down this weekend!!
Banks will be the first place you “see” the actual rate – however, they will not have a significant “head start”. They just won’t. A few might know 15 or 20 minutes ahead of schedule – that is it. The rest of this post was so dumb it made my head hurt – no further comment.
If you find a crazy rumor or have a question about something you’ve heard – bring it to one of the Mods over at www.dinarupdates.com and we’ll use it here. Thanks!!
