Talabani: Maliki officially informed us of his readiness to implement the previous agreements
Said President Jalal Talabani received Thblgaat an official from Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and the National Alliance confirms readiness for the implementation of previous agreements. Criticized the explanatory statement issued by the Office of the President at the same time, statements by some leaders of the Iraqi List.
The statement disclosed Wednesday evening from the failure of the President sign the paper Arbil, again implicitly refusing to withdraw confidence from the Prime Minister….
He also noted that the President received a subsequent notifications, an official of the National Alliance and the Prime Minister to prepare for the respect and implementation of previous agreements and taking into account paragraphs contained in the “Letter of Arbil,” except paragraph no confidence. “

noting that “a fact that the position of President Talabani, who starts always from being the head of the state and must therefore remain neutral and a sponsor of the consensus of the national reunification and unity a role that will make him lose if you stop with one party against another party .. We hope to put this statement, an end to the statements Almjavih of reality and contrary to the spirit of constructive dialogue, honesty and truthfulness
I have a funny feeling Talibani was hoping for this all along – he has had his heart set on a true “National Conference” since about Feb/Mar?? However, Maliki would never have gotten this far had there not be excruciating pressure on him (JMHO). Further, it’s not a done deal just yet. He has to actually get the “trigger pulled” – just him crying “wolf” one more time otherwise and I don’t think they will delay proceedings to see if he’s lying or not. Once Parliament convenes – he’s pretty much “cooked”.
Urgent …Deal behind the scenes: Allawi gets the presidency of the Council and the political powers of a full retreat from the withdrawal of confidence from the Maliki!!
BAGHDAD / Knights of hope
A source in the Iraqi secret meetings taking place behind the scenes between the lead in a coalition of state law and the leader of the coalition in Iraq, Iyad Allawi, to reach a formula that satisfies both parties to end the political crisis of the list.
The source, who declined to be named, said that “leadership in the state law, the envoy of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, offered Allawi to give him the post of Chairman of the National Council for the strategic policies and authorities provided for in accordance with the Convention on Arbil first return back on the subject of withdrawal of confidence and not to transport it to the House of Representatives so as not to worsen the crisis more than they are now. ”
The source added that “Allawi gave preliminary approval to the leader of the state law on condition that documents the official letter and then put in the House of Representatives for a vote to be legal action and without diligence by lawmakers in the future according to Aotaoelh fancies.”
If Maliki truly follows through on this deal – in my estimation, the hardest part (NCSP board) would already be agreed to. The rest of the items needed to stop the proceedings against him could be done fairly quick and easy. This is the one that could turn out to be a bugger…like I said though – it’s not a done deal just yet. I do see him as pretty shaken up by what he sees coming next week though.
Source in Iraq: Twenty MPs have joined the new, demanding no-confidence
Baghdad / Orr News
Disclosed an official source in the Iraqi List, said the list had the support of twenty deputies to join the claimants no confidence in Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
And said the source, who declined to be named, told (Orr) that “the efforts of no-confidence is still ongoing and it is increasing continuously,” noting that “the twenty deputies agreed to submit a request to question al-Maliki as a prelude to change it.”
The source indicated that “the number of signatories of Representatives has 170 deputies, and there are ten other legislators did not sign, but they vowed to vote in the parliamentary hall with confidence,” explaining that “the Kurdish regional President Massoud Barzani are dialogues with political parties to mobilize more signatures.”
There seem to be two parallel tracks – one side for a deal being made and the other pushing for an immediate “no confidence vote” – which is highly likely the reason he’s even talking deal. Or at least he better be – as soon as Parliament shows up they will get right to it!!
Talabani sent a message to the leaders of the four shows why he opposed the request to withdraw confidence.
BAGHDAD / electronic integrity
Sent President Jalal Talabani, a letter of reply to a message from the leaders of four political blocs explaining why he refused to sign the request for the withdrawal of confidence in Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
And the transfer of the Information Office of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan spokesman for the Union Party Jindiyani Azad as saying that “President Talabani has prepared a letter of reply to the message received by the meeting of the parties to Erbil, explain all the facts as
These parties are for specific reasons which he refused to sign a message to the Iraqi Parliament Speaker Osama Najafi on the withdrawal of confidence from Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki. ”
He declined Jindiyani detect the content of that letter justified his refusal by saying that “Iraqi leaders have not disclosed the content of their message to President Talabani, and respect us for this position, we also will not disclose the content of a letter Talabani, pleading, and if declared those parties the content of its message, then we will publish the text of the letter of the President Republic of the media. ”
So the bottom line was – Talibani opposed the move for some reason – it wasn’t just about signatures…and their threats to expose one another tells me there is a lot more going on here than meets the eye.

Rumor – My intel is good so far ,,,,, if i tell yall all i have today ,,yalls heads would explode to ,,,
Someone needs and explaination of what “good intel” means!! ;)
Rumor – an yes im in contack with 10 are so whales that have cashed out ,,,comferming all morning,,,2.72 is what i am being told ,,,not the offical rate just what is on the cards for every day iraq peeps ,,,,, gov an military qwill get more i being told.
There are no early “cash-outs” (just yet). The bit about smart cards is just not true – and once there is a rate it will be the same for everyone. Period.
Rumor – is it true that CNN/CNBC announced a revalue of currencies for tomorrow? I even saw that someone said at 1:32pm (Thursday). Any truth to that?
There may be some “adjustments” on the way – but until there is a “firm” powersharing deal in place for Iraq – the IQD will not be part of the scenario.
Rumor – Have you any confirmations of any what we read about a rate “in country” of $2.72, smart cards being issued, a speech by (President) O (Obama) today?
Our President makes speeches regularly – that’s his job. What it will be about – another thing entirely…the cards might be issued – but they won’t contain a “secret RV’d rate” – I promise. There won’t be an “in” and “out” of country rate – only one currency in the world does that – 1!! Mainly because they want to promote spending at home.
If you find a crazy rumor or have a question about something you’ve heard – bring it to one of the Mods over at www.dinarupdates.com and we’ll use it here. Thanks!!
