Maliki announced the zero hour
Nuri al-Maliki on Sunday issued an order to enter the army and police and security services on high alert, starting on Monday until next Thursday, in a proactive and uncaused. A security source said a senior Agency (UR), (c), did not explain the reasons for declaring a state of high alert. He explained that the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, is to move the regiment’s tactical counter-terrorism force to the city of Najaf, and ordered them stationed there for a week…..And earlier reports indicated that al-Maliki sent 500 an element of its security forces to the siege of Najaf, home of the leader of the Sadrist movement, in the wake of a meeting which brought together Alhanana opponents of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
He is clearly concerned about something – and I highly doubt it’s Bigfoot!!

Urgent …Jaafari and Talabani meets Najafi and al-Maliki shortly after the
On Sunday, the alliance president Ibrahim al-Jaafari is now strong communications with all political forces, all with a view to resolving the current crisis, noting that the next few hours will see a meeting Talabani and his collections Najafi and both leaders separately. A source told the “integrity of electronic” The head of the National Alliance will meet shortly with President Jalal Talabani and parliament speaker Osama Najafi and Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki separately. The source added that “al-Jaafari after his return to Iraq yesterday held telephone conversations with the three presidencies in order to complete the negotiations to the current crisis.
The National Alliance has emphasized yesterday after held a meeting on the importance of the unity described and cohesion strength of the challenges and stresses that all ideas and opinions expressed in letters and documents exchanged between the political blocs, including the paper Erbil latter is constructive ideas and worthy of research and follow-up Avenue, has issued a coalition early Sunday statement and received “integrity of electronic” copy of it for the regular meeting held by the political body of the Iraqi National Alliance in the office of its president, Dr. Ibrahim al-Jaafari and the presence of representatives of all the blocks were part of the coalition on Saturday night was attended by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, who heads a coalition of state law.
The interesting thing I see about this article is the cross-representation. Jaafari, Najafi and Maliki. If they manage to get a “bit in Maliki’s mouth” that would be fabulous for the country. The other very interesting component developing now is the fierce pace at which meetings are taking place. I still don’t see Maliki staying – but it’s not out of the realm of a possibility.
Active participation in decision making is key in Iraq, says parliament speaker
BAGHDAD, May 26 (AKnews) – Iraqi parliament speaker and leader of Iraqiya List Osama al-Nujaifi today called for active, national participation in the political decision-making process, stressing the need for adopting the constitution in the peaceful transfer of power.
Nujaifi’s call came in a speech today at the ceremony held in Baghdad to mark the memorial anniversary of Islamic leader Mohammed Baqir al-Hakim. The ceremony was attended by President Jalal Talabani, Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and several political forces.
Nujaifi said: “True partnership is represented in national decision-making and not through misleading the people of Iraq. We seek to implement national reconciliation, not reconciliation at the expense of partisan interests.
“According to the constitutional text, there must be faith in the peaceful transfer of power and the independence of the independent bodies that are stable international bodies and not changing government bodies.
Bottom line – they are working on a representative government. Not a tyranny run by the minority. Also some key words…”stressing the need for adopting the constitution in the peaceful transfer of power”. That sounds good to me. NICE!!
What goes on behind the scenes…
A source familiar with the meetings taking place behind the scenes between the coalition in Iraq and the Kurdistan Alliance in order to shape a common vision of the post-withdrawal of confidence from Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
The source, who declined to be identified, said “the leaders of the Iraqi matched those of the coalition Alchristani It is the first line meets strict confidence and out of sight to reach a common vision to be crowned the Alliance of two between them stood against the National Alliance and power of the House as the largest parliamentary bloc” .
He explained that “there are fears of an undeclared and questions raised behind closed doors, the ability of the National Alliance to stay intact after all that pain by the crises between the blocks that fall within it, especially after the student the Sadrists and the words of its leader, Moqtada al-Sadr to withdraw confidence from Maliki has caused a gap and weakened the alliance National. ” Adding that “the Kurds, who are seeking independence away from Iraq and insist on the Kurdish city of Kirkuk, on the one hand and the dream of the Iraqi prime minister and the power of government to make both the search for-chairs clustered in the interest of one is the alliance between them to form the biggest bloc in order to seize the prime minister of the National Alliance.”
He explained that “there are fears of the retreat of the Sadr movement for the withdrawal of confidence from the al-Maliki, especially after the developments in the political arena through the (72) years.”
The source said, “What politicians say in front of the media is nothing but throwing dust in our eyes and delude the public opinion and that the Kurdish and Iraqi forces are waiting for what shapers things in the coming days to withdraw confidence from the Maliki or not, and then will begin the implementation of the scenario prepared in advance.”
Very, very interesting article here!! Key words… “What politicians say in front of the media is nothing but throwing dust in our eyes and delude the public opinion”…and…”then will begin the implementation of the scenario prepared in advance.” Pointing out exactly what I’ve been saying – the news is a little more difficult to work out lately and they are working on a post-withdrawal scenario right now. This isn’t if they can or not – it’s about what happens afterward.
Maliki warns: Withdrawal of confidence from the government announce the last President of the Government of Iraq and one unified
BAGHDAD / Knights of hope
MP for the coalition of state law, Abdul Salam al-Maliki said the withdrawal of confidence from the government of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki was the announcement from the last President of the Government of Iraq and one uniform.
Maliki said that “al-Maliki is the only one who refused to divide Iraq and stop the whole of any claims of separation and the position of this safety valve to pre-empt Parw p Biden to divide Iraq and to subject the regions and the claimants him and although he is a constitutional, Maliki tried hard to give greater powers to the provinces to ask for it in order to persuade Baezzov for this idea. ”
He added that “such national positions of al-Maliki was more worthy of the rest of the political blocs that commends and supports the direction Maliki’s national instead of demanding the withdrawal of confidence from the government, who sought in spite of all the circumstances and pressures to be a government services for citizens away from the bias or loyalty to the party or bloc.”
This is “a Maliki” (a relative) talking about “the Maliki” (the PM) being the only one standing against “the Biden” who was trying to split Iraq up into pieces. Weird since he was their boy?!? Can anyone get their story straight?? What it is - DC tossed him under the bus and he’s just returning the favor. He’s also going on about how – if they remove confidence from Al-Maliki it will be the last time they see Iraq in one piece (as a country). Scare tactics and BS. If this guy really wants anyone to take him serious – lose the “traditional Palestinian terrorist garb”. Talk about what-not-to-wear – has no on told him it doesn’t work for fat guys??
Vice Chairman of the Committee of Finance: the Iraqi economy is a regular and still follow a system of “central”
Committee MP Ahmed Hassan Faizullah, the Iraqi economy is regular and still follows the central system by its decisions, making him wallowing in his place away from the global development.
The flood of God in the statements, “the media” that the Iraqi economy is still practicing the totalitarian regime, “Central” approach in the previous system in terms of adoption of the overall public sector and leaving the private sector without activation, which led to a delay in Iraq for what is happening from the recent development in the world.
He added that the absence of political consensus between the members of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Iraqi prime minister and even the Presidency of the Republic led to the delayed implementation of many of the important legislation of the Iraqi economy is making the economy stalled in his place.
Short answer – they are admitting as soon as they get their political act together they can get the economy going again!! Chomp on that rumor mongers!!
Talabani: Best resignation to withdraw confidence from the government
BAGHDAD – The integrity of electronic
كشفت مصادر مقربة من رئيس الجمهورية جلال الطالباني عن انه يرفض سحب الثقة من الحكومة ويفضل استقالته على طلب سحب الثقة عن رئيس الحكومة نوري المالكي. Sources close to President Jalal Talabani that he refuses to withdraw confidence from the government and his resignation would prefer the request to withdraw confidence from the Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
The sources said that both President Jalal Talabani and Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has headed off in front of those seeking to restore the political process Mrbaha first, Baalanama total rejection of the dictates of any other party and the imposition of solutions away from the sitting to the table of dialogue and the adoption of the Constitution as a reference for the settlement of any crisis.
Talibani would much rather withdraw confidence from Maliki alone than from “the Maliki government” – there is quite a distinction here. Get rid of one guy or scrap the GOI and start all over. This is the confusing point to a lot of folks. Talibani isn’t siding with Maliki – he’s siding with what is best for the people. There is a solution on the way – one way or the other.
Here are some interesting headlines…

Here we go!! Not an acceptable answer…

I can’t wait to hear about Maliki’s “radical solution”!?! Probably anything that doesn’t involve him getting “lynched” LOL!!
*** Rumor Comments *** – May 27th
Listen folks – I’m not attacking anyone personally….not my intent. When I hear the kinds of crazy info being put out that we do (regularly) – if I know it to be incorrect or just plain nutty, I will make light of it.
Rumor – Sounding like Maliki isn’t going anywhere but might be
buckling under. Interested in your take.
Anything is possible – I think they are the ones stalling him this time while they work on a replacement, but he could very well buckle under the pressure. It is truly massive.
I do think if they were to “reign him in” somehow it would make things quicker for us. I just haven’t seen that as a possibility thus far.
Rumor – RATES ARE LOCKED IN AND ARE TO THIS POINT HI.
Rates are not ”locked in” nor are they “high”…
When Dr Shabibi gives the BIS the go signal it will happen very, very quick. No “locking in”, “spinning up”, wango dango – just BOOM. IT’S IN.
The very highest possible rate would be around the KWD (3.50-4.00ish). Period. No more.
Rumor – THIS IS MUCH BIGGER THAN IRAQ…LOOK AT EUROPE … LOOK AT OUR OWN ECONOMY…THIS IS A TOTAL WORLD RESET.
Sorry gang – this is about Iraq’s political landscape. Period. Dr Shabibi won’t hand the keys for a massive economy over to a potential dictator. It just won’t happen. Once there is a representative GOI and some checks and balances in place (which, there are some right now…explaining why they have a chance to “right the ship”) he will put the final pieces in place to move Iraq forward economically. Not until then. So if you are a praying person – pray for success in the GOI. NOT IN GREECE!! Duh!!
If you find a crazy rumor or have a question about something you’ve heard – bring it to one of the Mods over at www.dinarupdates.com and we’ll use it here. Thanks!!
