Luckylady: I'm not surprised....disappointed but not surprised.
Preacher Man: Un-Believeable, I so try to stay possitive, and I will remain possitive, like Ive always said, if this happens, it will be sent from the big guy in the sky.
You probably do not want to hear this, but, dont be so moved with all that is happening, now, lets look forward to that prize, we have had some very important decisions, we need made, NOW !
I still believe, that God is our source, not Iraq, Maliki, Sadr, Hakim, Turki, or anyone else.
I encourage you all, to remain possitive, try not to look at the now, but look for the future, we are climbing that mountain, we will soon be at the top..
Risk: I need to see more confirmation before I take this as gospel
Sun Devil: Pl;ease tell me this isn't true. Like another month is really going to matter? These people have had all the time in the world to get their ducks in a row!!!
Pagerdr: It's on the parliament site too I saw it on another forum. I'm on my iPad but lemme see if I can get a link.

- Anticipation of The RV is WORSE than The RV itself!
Mally: Is this a cry for help or what? Is this really going to be allowed when they are asking the US for troops. I have a hard time believing this is going to fly.
Sun Devil: Mally, I agree. This has to be a strategy of some kind. They're so close to being a new govt with a new approach that I find it impossible to believe they could be so stupid as to resort to their old ways.
Greg: If this is indeed true, and I was the original poster... This is the dumbest thing they can possibly do! They never cease to amaze me! If true, thus parliament is just like the last! We have Isis taking over our cities and a civil war about to break out.... I know, let's take a month long vacation to think about doing something.... Idiots!!!
BeastMaster: don't believe everything you read..
Risk: Thank's pagerdr.........unfortunatley.....imo...this will not get done for a while. Even the opposition can't seem to get it together......The winner from all of these delays will be nuri Maliki....I now lean towards him winning a 3rd term...
It is now obvious why these people can only flourish with a dictator. Taking any decisions out of their hands as Saadam did......Maliki may end up being that guy after all........how this would play out in monetary reform? who knows!!!
Jackt: Amen Preacher Man....keep on preaching brother. The devil aint no how gonna make me curse the darkness or be discouraged.
He gives us our every breath of life, the next heart beat, eyes to see the beauty of the sun rise and sun set. Ears to hear the laughter of children and birds in the sky.
These and a million other things in life are worth more than all the money in the world and they are free. Lets enjoy this life with those things God has blessed us with before it all passes us by while we are waiting for a temporal blessing that can disappear like sand through our fingers
Mike: This session would have been a waste of time if they had convened. Until the Sunni's have a Speaker ready to vote on, all they would have done is trade insults. It seems like none of the groups really trust each other, no one wants to put up a nominee until they know what the other team is doing.
The Sunni's and Kurd's are holding up the progress now, they need to get their acts together and begin the process of forming the government. They are playing into Maliki's hands with the stall tactics and delays. Maliki will only get stronger and ISIL will continue to tear up the west and blow up Shia mosques and shrines.
Pagerdr: Fatlawi intends to file a lawsuit against Hafiz postponed because of the parliamentary session
07-07-2014 03:34 PM Baghdad (news) .. confirmed the MP for the coalition of state law, Hanan al, it will raise a lawsuit against Speaker older Mehdi al-Hafez for violating the constitution, not to convene a session of Parliament and is not elected president of the Council and his two deputies.
said Fatlawi in a press statement seen by the Agency (news) : The decision to postpone the second session of the parliament reflects the state of irresponsibility of the political blocs, which asked for the delay is the disregard for the fate of Iraq and the will of the fans'.
added Fatlawi: that the 'President of the Age bear legal responsibility, which was supposed to be doing his duty and not respond to the will of some political blocs that only concern the gains and positions
privileges and Aémha what is going on in the race and the challenges it faces and its war with terrorism and disrupt the budget and the other, noting that it will raise a lawsuit in federal court against the prime age for violating the constitution, not to hold the meeting and not to elect a president and two deputies in the first session. / End / b. Pagerdr: I wouldn't recommend anyone risking their mental health by calling this "smoke". There's several articles out there to prove it. It could change at any minute as we all know, but for now its fact. I've been in this long enough to know that calling an opinion article smoke is ok, but not something like this. Set your expectations correctly on this timeline or drive yourself nuts, it's up to you. Just trying to help... I'm not happy either but it is what it is.
Cornbread: I don't buy it one bit I figured they would try to postpone it by I don't think it will be for that long
BeastMaster: Sure, why not?! It was pretty much a general statement to cover a broad range of areas… all articles, opinions, Intel etc. etc.. The hard reality is we have no idea what is going on. Even the best researchers can only put out a best guess which is still way off..
Additionally – someone was going to come on here and post it so I figured why not me.. I’m still hopeful for an RV sometime in my life time.
Ralph: BeastMaster, Me too- I say let Tuesday get here & let's see what happens!!!
Oilwizard: Interesting that in Pagerdr's article Fatlawi who is from the State Law Coalition is Threatening law suite for the postponement. That is Malikis group. I would have thought that a long delay benefits Maliki?
Thegreentrees: i know we're all excited, but i think we should assume everything is just smoke and let it clear a bit.... after all, year later, we don't even know if Talibani is dead or alive? (think how surreal that one alone is?!?) they can hide anything, everything....and they always do;)
DreamWeaver: I'm taking a break from all of this until 2:00 am. I'm going to set my alarm, get up, and focus all my intention and prayer work that Parliament meet, have a quorum, and get the ball rolling on this. Have a peaceful day, all.
Mike; This ain't smoke. For the first time I'm in agreeance with a member of the SOL. The Sunni's and Kurd's need to put up nominees for Speaker and President, then they move onto the PM. These delays are unconstituional, these guys need to step up and do what the folks elected them for, representing them in Baghdad.
Phillyman: I like most was hoping that Tuesday would bring clarity if nothing else to where we stand but not sure I got what I was looking for.
So Kap has said no one will really admit how bad it is, one of our posters had a friend about to head to Iraq who said it is bad over there, some say it's not that bad and ISIS will be squashed quickly, Terry K is just waiting for the phone call, Goat who was discredited on BGGs site awhile ago says Maliki will be taken out, many say it does not matter if Maliki is in or not, others say it will put an RV off for a long time, information from inside contacts conflicts with news stories, we can't trust the news, theres lots of smoke out there, wait to see how this pans out, Maliki is preparing to flee, etc.
Sorry if I sound a bit negative, but it is only in reference to clarity. Still praying for that RV.
Rockstar: Just another reason that we shouldn't listen to intel which once again has Never been right! People get so excited on the intel rollercoaster only to be let down every single time!!!
Kind of makes you wonder why doesn't it!!! I am just as guilty for getting my hopes up as well and I for I should know better since being on this crazy ride for almost 9 years!
Tlar is right about one thing though as long as Maliki is there and there is no stable government we will not see an RV period this has always been the case though!
I bet dinar sales were up significantly right before July 1st though!!! Good luck everyone I am packing my dinars away and getting off the emotional rollercoaster here until if and when they so finally get their crap together in Iraq I am sure I will get an email from someone that the RV finally happened!!!!!
Greg: Just saw another article that said the Kurds are now going to attend Tomorrow's meeting... So, are they going to meet tomorrow or not???
Mike: Good post, Philly. I wil say though, the media has this pretty straight so far. They've told us over and over that there hasn't been a consensus on who will occupy the three presidencies and guess what, they're right. Hopium and intel are what confuses the community, the answers we're looking for can be read everyday by some of the best newshounds out there, here on CC.
When we start seeing articles that state the Sunni's have settled on a President, we know we're closer.
