BlueyesInLevis: I am not gonna include the articles that these guys are talking about... but I wanted to share what some of the people I trust are saying.

The IMF in their most recent report has instructed the CBI to "liberalize their exchange rate as soon as possible." We have articles from the WTO stating they have made adjustments to the rules to help assist emerging countries gain entry into the WTO.
Every 3 and 4 letter agency you can possibly think of is assisting Iraq to return to the global economy.

However, there are still a few economic and political laws that must be passed. I know it's tough waiting, especially when you listen to the guru's give dates.
The more opinions you get the more confused you become. Remember, no one knows the date or the rate. Anyone that tells you they do are simply speculating or flat out lying.
I seriously doubt they will announce the date and the rate in advance. I also seriously doubt any one single event will trigger this RV. Many of these last laws that need to be passed are all intertwined where one effects the other.
I like to think of this as a house of cards. One day everything is going to come together and the time is going to be right. When this happens the house of cards will come tumbling down and we will have our RV.
If you have not read "The Future of Iraq Plan" put out by the United States Department of State; I encourage you to do so.
Hang in there, Iraq is going to do this on their time frame not ours. They have made a huge amount of progress the last 3 months. In my opinion they have done more in the last 3 months than they have the last 3 1/2 years I have been involved.
I can tell you this is not done. I just checked the rate on the CBI website. It is not even scheduled to update at this time. However, I still believe this will happen when we least expect it.
One day someone is going to check the CBI website and there will be a rate change. The news will spread through these forums like a brush fire. All the gurus will be saying "I told you so."
Yes they have, every day since the day I joined. I am happy for them because I know they will be right one day as long as they keep calling for it every day
I also firmly believe the process to completion is happening right before our eyes. We are watching this happen right now. Forget the date and rate and enjoy the process as we watch this unfold.
I started a daily journal June 1st and jot down items that I feel were important for each day. One day I will be able to look back and review the "process to completion." Iraq has followed "The Future of Iraq Plan" almost to a T. There were a few interruptions but they have followed this plan almost page by page.
We are in the last chapter and the last few pages. We are participating in what could be one of the biggest historical events ever. I encourage you to relax and enjoy this final phase.
Trust me, no one wants this to happen more than I do. I also know I have no control over the date and rate. I came to the conclusion, I may as well relax, enjoy and take in all that happens.
You and I are very fortunate to have this great group here at PD to support us as we work through this process. Hang in there, all is good.
The Federation Council is nothing new. There have been many articles posted here for over a year. Countrygal was the one who first pointed it out to me and the entire dinar community.
She took a beating for it and still does. Many in the community still think the FC is a joke.
However, she knows the constitution does not lie. Almost everyday I hear of someone say, "SEE WHAT I MEAN, ALWAYS SOMETHING ELSE. SORRY JUST STATING A FACT" or something similar.
Not sure why so many say this? Most all of these things are written in the constitution. They were written there 3 1/2 years ago. It is a learning process. It takes a lot of research and studying.
We are fortunate to have many here who contribute many of these things to us daily. You have to keep notes. At least I do and I still cannot keep up. I almost feel like I should be given a degree in Iraqi politics. This will never happen though, as I will flunk the final exam. ~ Dare2Dream
