poppy3 says():REALLY WANTED TO REMIND YOU OF THE ARTICLES POSTED ON THE 8TH OF MARCH AFTER THEY MISSED THE MARCH 1 DEADLINE AND ULTIMATUMS ISSUED BY THEIR HEAD OF CLERGY.
THEY OF COURSE HAVE MISSED MANY DEADLINES BEFORE. THEM TELLING ABADI IS ONE THING BUT HIM BEING ABLE TO MEET A DEADLINE IS THE QUESTION.
IF HE COULD MAKE THIS HAPPEN I AM SURE HE WOULD HAVE MET THE MARCH 1 DATE BUT HE HAS TO OVERCOME THE PEOPLE THAT ARE THE OBSTRUCTION.
MOST OF WHICH ARE PEOPLE MALIKI PUT IN POSITION OVER HIS YEARS OF CONTROL. ABADI HAS ALREADY REMOVED ABOUT 70 OF THESE AND IS STILL WORKING ON CLEANING THE CORRUPTIONS.
THE BONDS ARE TO BE ON SALE ON TUESDAY, THE STOCK EXCHANGE IS TO BE ACTIVE AND TRADING ON TUESDAY ONLY TIME WILL TELL. MY QUESTION WHO WOULD BUY A BOND AT 1166 TO DRAW DRAW 6% INTEREST on 1/10TH OF A PENNY ????? they have to raise value to sell bonds PERIOD. POPPY3
WATCH THE NEWS THIS THIS WEEK . TIME WILL TELL ??????
Holly1 says to subgirl():Jabbar Sentinel The current reality has proven not to the existence of health Matdeih government criticism when citizens
jtank says():top wealth managers-- http://online.barrons.com/public/res...FIRMS_2013.pdf
Holly1 says to subgirl():Ghassn Jaafar Alshemmary Haji received clarifications on the value ..mthel Maglt days of purchase to get off and now you and your luck smile emoticon smile emoticon smile emoticon
Holly1 says to subgirl():well the rest was regarding the dinar ... be back later ... have a great day ....
tman23 says():This is GREAT as they discuss the ZEROS......... Owe Kuwait 9 billion but remove the 3 zeros and only owe them 9 million........... THIS HAS BEEN MY EXACT POINT TO THE "3 ZERO CONFUSION"
REGARDING THE LAUNCH OF THE NEW MORTAGE LOANS AND SMALL BUSINESS LOANS THAT ARE ON DECK....... So the citizen takes a loan for 50 million dinar to buy his home.......
now lets say they drop the 3 zeros in 6 months and the loan becomes 50 thousand dinar........
The citizen walks into the bank with one 50,000 IQD note ($43.00) and pays off his mortage.......
Lets say you are the bank......you paid contractors 50 million dinar for the home that was built..... ($43,000 usd)....... AND if the 50k note is worth 50,000 usd 1-1 after a RV.........then the bank who must carry 225 million in assets and deposits is now worth 225 billion dollars........thus becoming the richest banks in the world .......
angus says():I have a question. Does Iraq have to have an international currency to do banking with Iran?
David[X25SNDAUGTUKHUQWI6BTABCMVI@yahoo..] says():Good morning. So the latest curve ball is the parliment which is back in session tomorrow. The Iraqi news is flagging the parlinents unwillingness to pass monetary reform despite the economic conditions and the pressure from the Sadar and Sistini?
Which law is the resolution of monetary reform embedded in? Does Abadi have executive powers, probably not, so again the corrupt system is holding up the process. This seems to come out of no where I thought Sadhrs partyu was the control group. This pretty crazy stuff.
clay says to angus():good question GM :)
angus says():this is why I ask
clay says to David[X25SNDAUGTUKHUQWI6BTABCMVI@yahoo..]():so fed up w/them GM
Baxter1243 says():It looks like Sadr is kind of losing momentum at the moment....abadi had better do something.... like now..
jtank says():they should have power over the controlling votes
David[X25SNDAUGTUKHUQWI6BTABCMVI@yahoo..] says():This information info flow has a repetive pattern. The problem is this makes no sense. Why wasn't parliment an issue a month ago. The resistance is rooted in protecting status quo. Stop the auctions. The mechanisms were in place to prevent corruption. This is all very concerning
David[X25SNDAUGTUKHUQWI6BTABCMVI@yahoo..] says():Historic asset funds were released ..... I thought?
tman23 says():Abadi has asked from the Kurds and the other political blocs for a paper that describes their vision for the future..........Al-Saadi said in a statement obtained by (treasures media) that the National Alliance was studying the letter and reforms files sent by Prime Minister Haidar Al-Abbadi to the leaders of the political blocs to come up with a unified vision, noting that until now has not healed the national coalition parties to discuss the letter.
"Soon there will be a meeting of the National Alliance to define a common vision to promote reforms, noting that if the coalition parties agree the rest agreed the blocks as the largest bloc in Parliament and convince other partners on the draft reforms.
David[X25SNDAUGTUKHUQWI6BTABCMVI@yahoo..] says():Good morning Mrs BGG. If the MOU with the IMF is indeed a contract than how can the parliment stop it. I know there are no answers to these questions however why don't the threaten a referendum and have new elections for those parlimentary seats
David[X25SNDAUGTUKHUQWI6BTABCMVI@yahoo..] says():If this doesn't resolve soon ...... does anyone really know the facts and I guess the answer is no.
David[X25SNDAUGTUKHUQWI6BTABCMVI@yahoo..] says():Maybe it is a big head fake
clay says to David[X25SNDAUGTUKHUQWI6BTABCMVI@yahoo..]():sure cant see that
clay says to David[X25SNDAUGTUKHUQWI6BTABCMVI@yahoo..]():but cant imagine why a holdup
Baxter1243 says():My anniversary is tomorrow... starts my 11th year.... UUGGHH
jeffusa says to Baxter1243():10 days from starting my 12th year
tman23 says():Abadi has gone all in .......!! This reform package is a make or break Iraq...... Maliki is posturing to bloc these reforms in Parliment.......Exposing Abadi as WEAK and FAILED.........
Abadi did not receive the approval of Parliment Feb 20th for the replacement of Ministers, yet he has been working on it with political blocs who are to submit the names of their technocrats this Wednesday........
Abadi's spokesman said: The Prime Minister has sped up the process on reforms in replacing ministers ahead of the time that was planned.......
This is because of the manuevering by Maliki the obstructionist........... And if this gets voted down in Parliment........then Abadis past efforts were for nothing but wasted time..... Sadr says they will demonstrate and go into the green zone attacking parlment......The GOI has a plan to relocate in Najaf .......... So NOTHING is in the BAG as of yet.......
David[X25SNDAUGTUKHUQWI6BTABCMVI@yahoo..] says():So Maliki is all of a sudden back operating in the government please give me a break.
clay says to David[X25SNDAUGTUKHUQWI6BTABCMVI@yahoo..]():rediculous
David[X25SNDAUGTUKHUQWI6BTABCMVI@yahoo..] says():If he has been free to undermine this whole process all along I will fold. What about his meeting with all these EU and US diplomatic unoffical reps.
clay says to jtank():no kidding will it ever stop
jeffusa says to clay():when he is hanging by a rope
jeffjane says():Something tells me we will see very soon where this is all at.
thomas1 says():maliki was gone lol
David[X25SNDAUGTUKHUQWI6BTABCMVI@yahoo..] says():wmwhite and rcookie what do you guys think is this disinformation having the intended results?
clay says to jeffusa():should have been done long time ago
tman23 says():Maliki has no official government position........He has those in position when he created a second entity while he was PM.......He is a very powerful operator inside Iraq and has the backing of the Iran Revolutionary....
clay says to jeffjane():sure hope so as we keep thinking
jeffjane says to thomas1():He might be gone. Iraq news usually lags what has happened
thomas1 says():not is life time .. he has been pulling the strings ever since he left office, but the new PM is trying cut the strings little by little
David[X25SNDAUGTUKHUQWI6BTABCMVI@yahoo..] says():The country has gone out of its way specificly Sadhr to break ties with Iran. So you are saying that Maliki is still running the country. WQhy is the US spending its time and money again if Maliki could break this up.
Two months ago he was under house arrest this a absolutely absurd storyline and anyone can say what they want to disrupt a validated seris of events and scare the sheep
tman23 says():IF.......Parliment does not pass the Abadi reform to place techoncrats and diminish party influence....... Then Iraq is going to split........ This is the last hand......all in for Abadi.........
David[X25SNDAUGTUKHUQWI6BTABCMVI@yahoo..] says():Little by little is BS if not all the intel was BS
David[X25SNDAUGTUKHUQWI6BTABCMVI@yahoo..] says():How will they split with no currencies and in debt as far as the eye can see. How will the IMF ., WB and fifty countries who lenyt money ever get pais back that is BS to
wmawhite says():I am standing in the check out lane for the Iraqi Dinar investment and I am amazed with all of the BS magazine articles stairing back at me. I am waiting my turn for the cashier and what do I see on the front of the BS IQD Investment magazines?
"Maliki retiring or not retiring", "Iraq to split in two", "Iran taking over Iraq", "Frank26 and Delta says.....", "RandyK says.....", "Delete the three zero will chage mortgages", etc., etc..... Folks, stop buying those magazines. Those articles have zero to do with what we are waiting on.
tman23 says():Right now........THIS WHOLE THING HINGES ON A VOTE IN PARLMENT ON ABADI REFORMS IN REPLACING MINISTERS WITH TECHNOCRATS.........
THIS IS WHAT SADR IS FIGHTING FOR AND ORGANIZING DEMONSTRATIONS FOR...... IF ABADI FAILS TO GET THE VOTE........IT WILL NOT BE GOOD !!! LIKE IT OR NOT......
THAT IS WHERE WE STAND IN FOLLOWING THIS......AND THE FACTS ARE READILY AVAILABLE .......
wmawhite says to tman23():Who knows more about Iraq? You or the International Monetary Fund? Your answer please?
jtank says():tman23- does majority vote decide?
Baxter1243 says():IS this vote tomorrow in Parliament?
• Near Fallujah, one strike destroyed an ISIL bunker.
• Near Hit, three strikes struck two separate ISIL tactical units and destroyed an ISIL vehicle and an ISIL tunnel entrance and denied ISIL access to terrain.
• Near Kirkuk, one strike struck an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed an ISIL bulldozer.
• Near Kisik, one strike struck an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed an ISIL vehicle.
• Near Sinjar, three strikes struck three separate ISIL tactical units and destroyed an ISIL vehicle.
• Near Sultan Abdallah, one strike destroyed five ISIL rocket rails.
• Near Tal Afar, one strike struck an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed an ISIL vehicle.
Strike assessments are based on initial reports. All aircraft returned to base safely.
tman23 says():WMAWHITE.......... The IMF knows more about Iraq's Financial's........ The right answer to the baited question..........LOL !! Your turn...... The IMF said;......
Iraq will enter the world economy first half of 2016......... And this can happen any day......regardless of politics...........
I agree with all that.......but I have an inquiry mind that just doesn't stop at the check out counter and read front covers........ which appears to be a fault to some if you refuse to wear blinders.......just sayin...
Baxter1243 says():TMAN.... is this vote scheduled in Parliament for tomorrow?
tman23 says to Baxter1243():Vote for ??? Not for reforms.........Abadi must turn the names over to committee to be vetted.......(I believe).......
Then they will go to Parliment and seek a vote for the reform and turn over the names for vote and approval....... But everyone is asking Abadi for a VISION to what these reforms will bring and a VISION for Iraq......
Baxter1243 says():Ok.. thx..
Pablo says():I thought he had already turned the names in.
Baxter1243 says():So did I pablo..
Baxter1243 says():Puttin the cart before the horse again... thats me..
tman23 says to Baxter1243():Holly posted some great conversation from Iraqi's........such as "we owe Kuwait 9 billion dollars" Lift the 3 zeros and we will owe them 9 million.........
This was a BIG subject back in 2011 with Dr. Shabibi and it focused on the ISX and mortgages and the lifting of the 3 zeros...... The confusion would be massive and create problems especially on personal debt held outside financial institutions.....
The disturbing part is when people simply say.......forget the 3 zeros.....and forget the new mortgage loans........it does not concern us........ But the fact is it IS all tied together......
Baxter1243 says():I watched a video yesterday on the Mosul Dam... I didnt realize how Huge this Dam is.... One of the Largest in the World..and..its in Sad Shape.. The US Corp of Army Engineers had the video.. and I copied part of the Transcript..
Here is a portion of it.. with the Spring Rains Coming to Iraq.. If it Breaks .. it will be catastrophic..
Here is a Short Summary: If breached, it could unleash a 180-foot high wave down the Tigris River basin, drown more than half a million people, with floodwaters reaching as far as the Iraqi capital, 340 miles to the south. The collapse of Mosul Dam would be catastrophic for Iraq.
The dam has been called the most dangerous in the world for the past decade. But recent assessments by the US Army Engineers Corps say it is at "significantly higher risk"” of failing than previously thought.
If the dam fails when water levels are high, the flooding would be disastrous. Mosul, about 25 miles north-east, would be hit by a 65-foot wall of water and wiped out within
BGG says to tman23():That bit by Holly's contact was VERY TELLING... it sounded like that guy's Dad was the original economist asking for removing the zeros many years ago...
BGG says to tman23():However, with all due respect - I disagree (somewhat) with the analysis of Maliki's current power in Iraq. He's hanging on - or is on his way out...
Baxter1243 says():Mosul, about 25 miles north-east, would be hit by a 65-foot wall of water and wiped out within four hours, studies have said. Further downstream, Tikrit is expected to be deluged in 50 feet of water before the torrent bursts another dam at Samarra. Within 48 hours, floods 13-feet deep would reach Baghdad.
BGG says to tman23():very telling Iran is cutting ties with all their previous "henchmen"... Maliki is probably next (and he probably knows it).
BGG says to sheila3():GM
tman23 says():BAGHDAD — The Iraqi prime minister's reform proposals are superficial and only intended to gain personal political interests, said a Kurdish MP in the Iraqi parliament today, March 14.
Zana Rostayi, a Kurdish Member of the Iraqi parliament, told BasNews that Haider al-Abadi, the Iraqi Prime Minister, has officially asked all factions in the Iraqi parliament including the Kurdish factions to present the names of their technocrat candidates.
Recently the prime minister has made a decision to change 9 ministers, including the Kurdish Finance minister. The prime minister's policy, however, is intricate and difficult to comprehend, Rostayi said.
Speaking to BasNews, Rostayi said the deadline to present the candidates' names is March 16 and the prime minister has concurred with 20% share for Kurds in the new technocrat government.
tman23 says to BGG():One second.......
jtank says Bgg - you mentioned Maliki has resigned or ?
tman23 says to BGG():Rouhani gave a huge televised speech in Iran attacking Knomanie and his remarks of revolutionary and killing.........Which none serves the people, the economy, or the nuclear agreement.......
Rouhani is gaining a large mass of support from citizens ....... In Iraq the popular crowd is falling apart.......fighting south of Kirkut and getting their hinds kicked......
Maliki is demanding Peshmerga help immediately.....nobody is coming to the rescue.......... And remember Turkey asking to become a member of the EU........ There is a shift going on......
If Iraq were to change value in currency it would further strenghten Rouhani and hurt the revolutionary guards agressive behavior....... Real interesting set of events that can be used with some great leverage.........
dwightj says():NOTICE IT SAYS MALARKI IS DEMANDING GOES TOWARD IRAN HAVEING MORE CONTROL THAN SOME THINK IN IRAQ
