BAGHDAD (AP) - Iraq's Federal Supreme Court issued a ruling Monday overturned the decision of the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi the abolition of the posts of Vice President of the Republic, for violating the country's constitution which requires the existence of these positions.

Big salaries and limited responsibilities
The three vice-presidents who are removed from office as Vice-President of the Republic are Osama Najafi, the former House speaker, and Nuri al-Maliki and Iyad Allawi, the two former prime ministers.

In a first reaction, the Shiite leader Muqtada al-Sadr expressed his rejection of the court's decision, and considered it a form of corruption, according to a statement issued by his office.
