tman23 says to larrykn():What is going to happen ??? A RV from rags to riches is pure speculation........ Lifting the 3 zeros at the start of the New Year has been their topic in ink for years....... So what I posted was factual...... DEAD ON FACTS !!!
How they will treat the 3 zero notes we hold is pure speculation.......and to say just relax it will happen ......
What will happen ?? Can you guarantee rags to riches ?? This is why this is so troublesome.......
WE hope for rags to riches.....BUT the only thing for certain is currency reform which includes removing 3 zeros from currency notes.....and if that means NEW CURRENCY or includes the currency we hold also........ Sorry but that is the reality of it !

larrykn says():Deputy: general amnesty might make Saddam Hussein innocent
MP criticized Muwaffaq al-Rubaie, on Monday, the general amnesty law passed by Parliament recently, saying it would threaten the security of Iraq and a blow to the credibility of the judiciary, pointing out that the law may exonerate the former regime of Saddam Hussein.
Rubaie said in a statement, "The general amnesty law would affect security in Iraq negatively; because it will be funded Daesh and Baath large and trained human elements and some of the leaders," he said. "Snaatard it (the law) in the Federal Supreme Court; because it is against the law to combat terrorism."
He said al-Rubaie, a former security adviser to "re-trial based on allegations confess under duress or witnesses unknown means that large numbers of criminals would be freed," he said, adding: "and in particular that some of the crimes were committed years ago may be difficult to re-gather witnesses and that means in the opinion of some legal likelihood of re-trial of Saddam Hussein and his acquittal and this is a great disaster. "
He pointed out that "the informants will not be able to testify publicly for fear of the playoffs and tribal claims and others, if this enables the judiciary to bring them to court in the case of not being able to bring them the court will invalidate their testimony and release convicted terrorists."
Rubaie said: "The Iraqi judiciary and its credibility will be exposed to a painful blow threatens to collapse because the judiciary sentenced to death a convicted then the law released comes," adding at the same time that "the release of criminals will adversely affect the morale of the Iraqi armed forces that made sacrifices for the sake of the arrest of these criminals. "
And on the analogy of the general amnesty passed by parliament amnesty decisions which was issued by the head of the former regime, law-Rubaie said: "There is no comparison between the two; because Saddam had issued decisions in a general amnesty on innocent people did not go through fair trials or unfair, but who got now is to settle political to release criminals convicted judicial ways. "
tman23 says():Christine Legarde Vietnam speech...... In fact, we are likely to see a massive further increase in urbanization in many emerging and developing economies over the next 15 years. This could require global infrastructure investment of up to $90 trillion.12
Just think about the risk if this investment is done in the wrong way—for example, if it locks in carbon-intensive energy and transportation structures in these mega-cities. This could radically affect the quality of life on the planet—for all of us.
kalis says():It is really you have someone bring is some great news and then there is always have to bring doom and gloom :@
_firefly_ says to kalis():This rollercoaster ride most have put themselves on is anything but healthy
Society says to kalis():Realize, while the underlying fundamentals are sound, this is a SPECULATIVE Investment that may or may not turn out as we want to believe
kalis says():i understand
firefly_ says to kalis():It will go international when they want it to, not a second before or after
kalis says():meeting meeting meeting that all people goverment do .lol
Society says to kalis():That being said, rest assured that everything seems to be continually moving in a great direction and we may very well know our outcome between now and 4/1......personally, I strongly believe sooner than later and in 2016.......
however, I don't expect anything this week, perhaps the 8th/9th but better shot end of Sept or sometime in October.....
until they can get parliament passing laws and acting in a coherent manner, i don't think we will see what we want.....the UN obviously is now pushing hard on the Accountability and Justice law since Amnesty was passed.....however, looks like parliament adjourned until 9/6 so it is easy to conclude nothing this week ......IMO
kalis says():trust me i worked in the gov. we had meetings after meetings on what we should about the bathrooms .lol
kalis says():after 2 plus years plus of meeting we started are new bathrooms . then that boss retire . so the new boss decided to have more meeting on the bathrooms . so the work stop and we had use the 3rd floor bathrooms .lol
kalis says():opps our new bathroom.lol
SRW says to kalis():Kalis, we all want this investment to take place as soon as possible! Like right now!! Listen to Rcookie and Mr.White. There has to be stablility and security in the country for investors to start projects and have a true since of protection for their investment and employees.
That being said, there are still laws that need to be passed. This takes time! We are talking about three tribal religious groups that at one time hated each other and still do. The Kurdish issue is another problem PM Abadi will need to negotiate.
You said you had worked in a government position before, a lot of this is about politics and resolving many years of problems the Iraq government has had.
cricket22 says to SRW():(y)
larrykn says to SRW():I agree with you but I feel there aren't that many laws left for them to do, when they passed the Amnesty law that did a lot for them, the A&J that should be done this week should help ( but someone said they won't be back till Sept 6??
didn't hear that one, and Mosul is about ready to be taken back,I feel once those items are done we will see what happens, I do believe Rcookie mentioned about some banking laws needing adjustments. after that I don't know whats left
Pablo says():A & J is supposed to be tomorrow.
larrykn says to Pablo():unless I missed that parliment won't be back till sept 6 but I didn't hear that
Pablo says():I didn't hear that either.
Baxter says():I just read in chat that Parliament is out till Sept 6? I thought this was a big week?
Pablo says():So did I.
larrykn says to Baxter():I have not read an article that stated that
larrykn says to Baxter():let me go look
Baxter says():I just read it in chat.. Oh well... we will see tomorrow
Pablo says():They postponed discussing this issue till next Tues, that doesn't mean that parliament won't meet tomorrow.
larrykn says to Pablo():if they are coming back tomorry that is where they got the Sept 6 from, I have not seen anything else that says anything
Pablo says():I just got the impression from this report that it was a big issue and they decided to deal with it more later next week.
Pablo says():Maybe a translation thing.
larrykn says to Pablo():we will see what happens tomorrow
larrykn says to Pablo():you would think if they postponed the A&J law there would be an article out that says just that , didn't see it
Pablo says():Am I to gather from BGG's comments that the plan is to keep the IQD worth 1.13 USD for approx. 3 years and then let it float up from there?
DIGIman1 says to Pablo():i'm not gathering that....you think its gonna stay put like a good little currency for 3 years?
Pablo says():I doubt that.
DIGIman1 says to Pablo():highly....
Pablo says():Unless they keep it pegged for some reason.
woodywoodpecker says):nobody knows but me and i aint telling. lol
