German vice-chancellor to visit Iran this week: source
Vienna, July 14, IRNA -- German Vice-Chancellor and Economics Minister Sigmar Gabriel is to visit Iran this weekend, only moments after a historic nuclear deal was reached in Vienna, a source close to the German government told IRNA exclusively in Vienna on Wednesday.
Gabriel is scheduled embark on his short-notice trip to Iran on Sunday following the positive outcome of the negotiations, the source added.
The minister will be accompanied by a high-level business delegation.
German trade officials have repeatedly expressed concern his country could actually miss out on Iranˈs profitable market as other competitors are rushing to the Middle Eastern country to sign business agreements.
German companies have pressed their government to boost efforts to promote trade relations with Iran as western sanctions over Tehran's nuclear program are being gradually lifted.
They have lambasted Berlin's inaction in pushing ahead for closer trade ties with Iran as other western companies were flocking to Tehran in the wake of the last year's landmark Geneva nuclear accord and the April 2 Lausanne framework deal.

Vienna, July 14, IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif called nuclear deal between Iran and P5+1 'a new chapter of hope'.

“An economy bigger than Thailand’s and oil reserves rivaling those of Canada” is how investment bank Renaissance Capital sees the country.
Officials from Iran and P5+1 sealed a historic accord on Tuesday, which will see all sanctions by the US, UN and Europe on the country lifted.
Renaissance sees the Islamic Republic’s stock market opening to investors in early 2016, with inflows totaling $1 billion in the first year.
“We are confident that Iran opening up will be one of the most interesting and positive developments for the emerging and frontier market asset class in many years,” Renaissance’s Charles Robertson and Daniel Salter wrote.
“Iran is the largest and most important economy in our view that is still closed to institutional investors.”

Iran’s tourism is already seeing a resurgence, with foreign hoteliers visiting the country to test the waters for the huge bonanza of an underdeveloped market.
Hotel groups from Germany, Greece, South Korea and Singapore have traveled to Iran in recent weeks for talks, head of the Cultural Heritage Organization Massoud Soltanifar said.

A new report says conclusion of nuclear talks between Iran and the P5+1 group of countries and a subsequent nuclear deal will have a major effect on international oil market.
The report published by Bloomberg on Tuesday, noted that the result of nuclear talks between Iran and six world powers in the Austrian capital city of Vienna can “eventually reshape global oil markets.”

PrincessDD: Iran Starts $2.3bn Gas Pipeline to Iraq
Iran has reportedly started construction on a new gas pipeline to Iraq, which will feed two power plants near Baghdad.
The line is an extension of Iran’s 6th cross-country gas pipeline, and will extend 590 kilometers and include five booster stations.
The Managing director of Iran’s Gas Engineering and Development Company, Alireza Gharibi, said the project will be completed within two years.
Iranian company Gostaresh Energy Pars will carry out the project in the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) basis.
Some 620 kilometers of the 6th cross-country gas pipeline, extending from Assalouyeh to Ahwaz in southwest of Iran, has already come on stream.
Testing 100 kilometers of the previously built pipeline will be completed in the next month and will be ready to transfer gas to Iraq, he said.
During its first three years the pipeline is intended to export 4-7 million cubic meters of gas per day to Iraq, increasing to 25 million cubic meters per day over following five years.
