CBI: Four names candidature for the post of Governor of the Central Bank
Well-informed sources revealed in CBI, on Monday that there are four names its candidacy for the post of Governor of the Bank, had submitted their nominations to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
The sources said in a press statement that "the four names are Zia added safety smeisim and appearance of Mohamed Saleh and Ahmed albrihi and is waiting to resolve the issue of Al-Shabibi definitively to one of these is chosen by the Prime Minister.
Names submitted to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to choose a name by a Committee consisting of Government oversees chose an alternative if they Sinan Al-Shabibi remain abroad without reference to Baghdad and to defend himself in court."
Member of the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee set up to investigate the dealings of the Central Bank of Iraq Haidar Abadi, last Wednesday, the importance of assigning an alternative Cabinet of former Central Bank Governor Sinan Al-Shabibi.
The Cabinet voted last week to head of Audit Department of Turkish-Central Bank agency rather than former Governor snan alshabibi.
The Commission had announced on the 7th of this month for the most outstanding recommendations that focused on two essential points first is the information base on the mechanism used to Bank in Iraq, secondly on tightening controls on private banks dealings with customers. The Central Bank has an information base for only 5% of the spent money causing the widening of the gap between the Iraqi dinar and the dollar.
