Post by another mailman » May 10th, 2014, Iraq has said in a few articles that they would announce the results of the election on May 25th. IMO, it does not take almost a month to count the votes.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that May 25th will be the seating of the Government, the horse trading if you will that has been decided on. I have a question for anyone that cares to answer.
The Language Law was passed February 25th, how long do they have to implement it? I have heard 90 days. Any truth to that?
Post by w8tn4it2rv » May 10thI thought I remember Delta stating that per Iraq's constitution, they have until the END-OF-JUNE to complete their budget. Please correct me if I'm wrong! It may take almost a month to count the votes!

Post by another mailman » May 10th, 2014, Dusti, I think this election was even more sophisticated than ours in the United States. When was the last time anyone on this forum needed to provide finger prints when voting?
Post by dustibigelow » May 10th, 2014,Good Point! And what a concept....prove you are who you are to vote??? Maybe we should try that!!!!!!

Post by Seven » May 10th, 2014 Hi Frank, Yes, it is slow but thank you for your comments none the less. I have to agree with you on the point you made regarding whether or not the CBI would/could release the RI/RV before the new GOI sits.
It would nullify those losing power ;) and those coming in to power being able to state (well they will do that any way) that they had something to do with it. It makes the most sense.
Also, in regards to the news article from the Finance Committee person who is stating that the CBI will make that change within the next 8 months up to early 2015 had some good nuggets in it. Of course the CBI is never going to tell the Finance Committee the date of release because they would open their big mouths.
Hmm.... the next 8 months (May to December 2014) to early 2015. My bet is listen to the CBI and they said BY THE MIDDLE OF 2014. Nice!!! Have a great day everyone!
