ALBUNDY: Baghdad (AIN) -Member of the Parliamentary Foreign Relations, MP Ruz Mahdi pointed out that "The relief of Iraq from the UN' Charter Seventh Chapter is still correlated with the file of the pending issues with Kuwait."
Mahdi stated to AIN that "Whenever the pending issues with Kuwait are settled, Iraq can get rid of the sanctions stated in UN Chapter 7th Chapter."
"The efforts of the commissions which were formed for purpose of resolving all the sanctions against Iraq stated in the 7th chapter are still ongoing, but still there are some problems which have not been settled yet especially with regard to Kuwait issue," he concluded. /End/
THEGENTE: I think they still have to return the Kuwaiti archives, the border demarcation, and back debt. Don't hold your breath for this to happen anytime soon. They've been talking about it for years, with almost zero action on any of the items need to remove CH7 sanctions. They think (like a child) if they cry about it often enough and to as many people, the UNSC will just remove the sanctions. Hasn't worked so far....but there have been miracles in the past.

ALBUNDY: thegente So, Are you pessimistic that Iraq will remove from chapter 7? So you mean that Iraq need a big miracle to be released from chapter 7 now? What do you mean " back debt " ? I read in the forum that some countries, like China, etc have already canceled Iraq's debt, is it true?
THEGENTE: They still owe Kuwait about 20 Billion or so...this has gone on for years. AL...I really wouldn't worry too much about CH7 anyways, it really has nothing to do with them RVing or getting their currency back into worldwide circulation...all that is just guru nonsense.
When they take steps to accept certain articles of agreement with the IMF (can't remember which one off the top off my head) then I will start to get excited. Kuwait has no say in releasing Iraq from CH7, only the UNSC has the power to release Iraq once they've completed their stipulations to be removed from the sanctions placed on them under CH7.
I've read and read as regard CH7 sanctions, and found absolutely nothing that has anything to do with Iraq's currency being able to be revalued/restricted. Hope this helps bud...
UNCIRCULD: Kuwait is a small issue. That's not going to get maliki out of chapter 7 like he thinks. He is avoiding the "MAIN" issue and that is the Erbil agreement. (which has the power sharing) And he won't do it. He cannot be forced, they have done all they can. He needs to be gone, either arrested, no confidence, poisoned (lol), or just fall of the face of the earth would really be nice. As long as he breathes freely in Iraq, he will not let go of his illegal position.
JEEPGUY: uncirculd sounds like ,, is on the spot with the erbil deal ,,, only thing i have seen that would cause kawait too be a hold up would be the body count they had been looking for in the past ,,, no way in heck they will find those remains ,, the sands shift too much ,, it takes at least 1500 years too find a tomb with a long ago king buried in it ..... just hope with the oil erbil is sending too baddaddy they will move a bit faster on ,,,, the outstanding deals
SOCALDINAR: GM DV Moons report should be out in January.
Confusing part is all the articles saying that Kuwait supports this release from ch 7 I've read it in KUNA and the Kuwaiti Times also I think the border issues are complete. Archives most likely have been destroyed Missing Kuwaitis buried in forgotten graves. I thought the payments were down to 14 billion left owed. Not sure the the UNSC will sign off without a stable gov.
uncirculd, on 22 October 2012 - 04:46 PM, said:. You must have a power sharing government before you can get an RV. They have an HCL they use but it is causing more problems between the central and kurdistan. It would not be a problem if they didn't have to deal with maliki's interpretation of the constitution. Most of what he does is not constitutional. He is accountable to all of Iraq because he is the proxy of major minister positions. And never held accountable. Shabibi did nothing. Maliki needs money and he has tried this before when Shabibi would not give him money. Now maliki will have to answer for his illegal removal of shabibi. You know if maliki is involved it sticks.
Power sharing and a complete government has everything to do with it. And it's completely in Iraq's hands. But with the sudden move of maliki's, he can only steal from the funds, but he cannot RV the currency.
That has to be done through the IMF and he has not done all he had to do to be able to do this. Remember the sanctions and the Strategic Framework and the items the government had to do. Barzani, Allawi, and Sadr can open a whole new can of worms on maliki for this move. Let's see what happens when Shabibi gets his lawyers involved, and the IMF. Again, call it speculation cause it is, but it is also what we have read. JMHO
YOTA691: Thanks uncirculd think this article back ups everything you just stated!! And I Thank you!! This is right off Official Iraq Parliament web site!!
D. Qusay al-Suhail looking with a delegation from the (UNAMI), the formation of the Federation Council and Iraq would emerge from Chapter VII Wednesday October 17, 2012

Regarding Iraq would emerge from Chapter VII called Dr. Suhail UN to intensify their efforts in order to remove Iraq from Chapter VII as the Iraq responded a lot with international resolutions and waiting to take him out of the threat of sanctions. For his part, Posten said the United Nations strives to work for removing Iraq from Chapter VII pointing at the same time to the future role is important for Iraq for the global economy. between that Iraq will be an important partner very for many countries in the world, especially the European Union.
THEGENTE: Kuwait is NOT a small issue....Kuwait IS THE reason Iraq was slapped with sanctions under UN CH7...Erbil was something that came along near the end of 2010 as way to for the Iraqi Sunni and Shiite coalitions to have a power-sharing government that was fair to all, and to break the deadlock that had persisted since the earlier elections that year.
Erbil has nothing to do with the release of Iraq from CH7 sanctions...other than the fact that MAYBE if Erbil were in place, it MIGHT and I say MIGHT help speed along some of the other Kuwaiti issues.
Erbil had not yet been dreamed up when the original CH7 sanctions were put into place oh so many years ago. Iraq must still conclude all business to UNSC satisfaction on these remaining items before ANY real talk of CH7 being lifted will commence, anything else is just wind:
1. Return of Kuwaiti remains 2. Return of Kuwaiti archives and documents
3. 20 billion more in war repairations 4. Border demarcation
UNCIRCULD: Small issue and has nothing to do with the RV. What is a big issue that cannot be done as long as maliki is there, is the power sharing government. I want the RV, I don't care if they ever get weapons. He will not be released without the power sharing, even if all the kuwait issues are completed. It won't happen. But, hey, it's just my opinion.
THEGENTE: I agree with you on your statement it has nothing to do with an RV. Neither does Erbil. For Iraq to be released from CH7, Kuwait is a BIG deal. The only ones who have ever said that Erbil had anything to do with an RV or CH7 are are the gurus who pull crap outta their butts daily to get people back to their websites. I don't care if they ever get weapons, ice cream, or more camels, I just want them to RV as well...
CAPT.CLIFF: I understand the Iraq has to make amends with KuwAIT-- MONEY, and all the other requirements and in a reasonalbe loss of what Saddem did to Kuwait--just like any other loser from a war---what I do not understand is how within the GOV of Iraq How can this consolidation of power with MAliki is allowed---I do not care about our pres election , I do not care who the big M in office--I do care that it all the progress achieved thru the colistion getting Saddam out will be lost and we have to start over, sadly maybe the envoy from wash said bear with us and you will be in ---Hmmmm no one presented that possibiliy –
UNCIRCULD: Not a guru thing. "Shabibi" said he needed Political Stability and Security. Political stability is a unified government and there is a un-welcome dictatorial regime that causes political instability. This also held up laws and progress of the government income. Also security, we all know there are no security positions filled in the country.
This RV will not be let loose on a country that is not stable. The council (coming out of the erbil agreement) has to be implemented, unless they come up with another power sharing system (which takes an act of God) they will not get it.
They have to lock down the borders etc etc. Right now iraq is at high risk of losing their reserves and an RV would be the last thing they could do. Until it is stable and the CBI is stable, we are in a very serious situation here.
Since you say you just want the RV, and most of us do. Then we need to root for the power sharing and the security. The PM has tried to get money from the CBI before and he was turned down.
He splurges on weapons, assassinations, his personal security, funds syria war, and does nothing for the country. Not to mention allowing Iran to smuggle dollars and steal Iraq oil. These are all bad for our RV.
Security is big, but as long as Maliki allows his country to be looted by himself and others, we can't get an RV. They have not developed other revenue but oil and that ain't enough. He don't care because he gets all that money, or he knows how to get it. That's all he needs, enough to fund his whims.
The citizens go without. He wants it that way, because if they had money they could do him in, vote him out, have their own media, etc etc.
THEGENTE: Whatever you say...been in this over 5 years, and most of what you say are merely "forum facts" reguritated daily on conference calls by gurus, and bought into by wild-eyed newbies who think that these clowns have some kind of "ESP/secret intel" into Iraqi news articles that we don't.
Ever hear the phrase "repeat it often enough and it becomes fact"??? That's what has happened in Dinarland....
The RV is about money and banking, it goes WAY beyond the petty squabbles of the GOI and Maliki's antics. Maliki tried to retire twice before, and I'd bet even money either right before the RV or soon after he will step down and retire to his palatial estate in England.
Ever notice how when things seem to be running smoothly, Maliki throws a wrench in things? it's been a pattern since he took office... He's a delay puppet, nothing more until the real masters tell the puppets it's OK to RV. This plan was neither conceived by, nor instituted by the GOI.
They are merely front men for the whole deal, and answer to grander masters.. As well, I believe that when the RV happens, all other issues, Erbil, CH7, Kuwait, etc., will fall like dominoes...JMO, nothin personal bud!! THX
UNCIRCULD: yep your right RV does go way beyond. They have been working on this a long time. All is done but security and political stability. There are many things for chapter 7 but it's not associated with the RV. And I get my info from the articles, not gurus. I read what you read.
I have had my dinars a very long time. It wasn't until last year that I ever watched my investments in coin or currency. I was shocked to see all the forums or Iraq Dinar. I am a coin and currency collector not just a dinar or dong. I buy old money, new money, whatever. It still don't make me an expert.
I just invest. I write what I think, and NO ONE has to agree. I quote the man in charge, "Shabibi" and I am one of those who says it's IN THE HANDS OF IRAQ. Not a global reset. That's happened already and daily.
Did we know the Iranian Rial would fall this far or at all? Nope. You don't have to agree. If I annoy you it's not my intention it's best to use the ignore button. I am one who is very passionate about the variety of things surrounding this investment. There are many more intelligent folks here than me that you can converse with,I guess. If I annoy that bad use ignore for my 2 cents. I don't want to annoy folks.
THEGENTE: I respect your views UNCIRC, no harm, no foul...but the RV is not in Iraq's hands. That is merely an illusion. They were not the ones who conceived of, or instituted the Project For Iraq...and Shabibi has been working for TPTB for many, many years...
If you follow the markets, the only way out of the world debt scenario IS a reset...FIAT is done..do you really think that the US and EU can go on just printing money out of thin air forever? NO.
China is about to launch a gold-backed currency, India, Iran and several others are demanding gold for oil sales, NOT USD....The bottom will fall out, and there will have to be massive debt forgiveness...
Once FIAT money crashes, Iraq (or whoever is controlling them) will put their currency back into play. I think whoever is pulling Iraq's strings doesn't want the IQD contaminated by the same FIAT disease permeating nearly every economy on earth.
I don't have all the answers UNCIRC, but it's way more complicated than just Shabibi and the GOI. It's good you deal in coins, at least when the Fed Notes go belly up, you'll have something of value till the US Treasury can get asset-backed currency into play. And for the record, you don't annoy me UNCIRC, you get me thinkin!! Have a good nite friend....
UNCIRCULD: Cool. Hey let me tell you. Everyone's buying gold. It's good, but don't leave out the silver. Remember, silver can be used for numerous things, and it's value will increase. There are risk in buying mint coins in bulk when buying resale, but sometimes it's very rewarding.
Fiat money (debt) killed the world's economy. I expected it to fall by now, but yes they just print it out of thin air. But see, I don't know how or what they plan to do, but they know it is coming.
Here we have only a few months and the Fed 99 year contract will be up. I ain't heard a peep out of our government, so I am assuming they will renew.
That right there tells me they plan to do business as usual and that my friend is the middle of the beginning of the end.
Yeah, I try not to be in the midst of it in my mind because every tax dollar spent on pure earmarks, whims, etc just gripes my rear end. How bold the government has gotten with out money.
This last 40 billion for stimulation is our bill and it's 7 times that much to pay it back. Let them fail. The Federal Reserve to me is the great satin. The bailouts did one thing, made more people aware.
