Post From Mammon Money and Modernization By JC Collins Reader Comments
Daneackerman: July 8, 2014 Awesome JC! One step back two steps forward still equals positive growth.
“Does modernization feed money printing or does money printing feed modernization?”
The chicken or the egg causality dilemma…
In ancient times this dilemma evoked the questions from philosophers on how life and the universe in general began. Since we are still not certain how life and the universe began it may hold that your hypothesis about both of them feeding off each other may hold the most “hope” for being correct.
Just like the disorganized masses (lack of a better way of….labeling) and the PTB, elite, 1%ers…etc. feed off each other thus mulching and chewing.
It echoes through many levels of nature. And like (I think Hugh showed us a while back in a video) those cool fractals.
A fitting fable to ponder: The Horse, Hunter and Stag
A quarrel had arisen between the Horse and the Stag, so the Horse came to a Hunter to ask his help to take revenge on the Stag. The Hunter agreed, but said: “If you desire to conquer the Stag, you must permit me to place this piece of iron between your jaws, so that I may guide you with these reins, and allow this saddle to be placed upon your back so that I may keep steady upon you as we follow after the enemy.”
The Horse agreed to the conditions, and the Hunter soon saddled and bridled him. Then with the aid of the Hunter the Horse soon overcame the Stag, and said to the Hunter: “Now, get off, and remove those things from my mouth and back.”
“Not so fast, friend,” said the Hunter. “I have now got you under bit and spur, and prefer to keep you as you are at present.”
Moral of the fable:
If you allow men to use you for your own purposes, they will use you for theirs.
Similarly disorganized masses complain about how their cell phone service is lacking. A politician tells the disorganized masses they will introduce legislation to correct this atrocity.
The disorganized masses elect the politician who then tells the cell phone providers to correct this atrocity and the result is a monthly surcharge (perhaps another injection point).
Now you guessed it the disorganized masses complain about the surcharge never seeing that they brought it about in the first place or it the original complaint had even been corrected.
It seems their imbalance of feeling and desire led to the anger that blinded them.
Danielbradford: July 8, 2014 JC, Is it possible that the Capstone Society has had to “wing it” at certain junctures? Even though their pawns are hand picked and well placed, did they not come from the dis-organized masses, making them inherent of the same lust for mammon (or a variation thereof – power, notoriety, etc)? Is it possible that we have witnessed this in recent
Axx fann (@fann_axx): July 9, 2014 America a land of hope… The movie America was one of inspiration to anyone seeking balance regardless of political view. D’Souza, posed an interesting dialogue with regard to history in broad terms. It should be embraced for further discourse.
If we discard the “so called evil”, man should recognize our inherent hope in mankind. Men of power pervert the defining light in man.
As we observe the demise of the Petro-dollar there in lies at least a short term approach to balance.
I encourage all to see America and judge it on its own merit. Wisdom abides within…
Food for thought for those of open mind…. Mr. Collins continues to keep me engaged….
Luis Magno: July 9, 2014 There are thirteen types of issues and five categories of issues. Issues of a different type can be functionally integrated but are otherwise not comparable.
An example is democracy versus communism. Democracy in a second approximation is a sociopolitical phenomenon. Communism in a second approximation is a socioeconomic phenomenon.
The two are not comparable in a direct sense but can be said to be comparable in an indirect sense because “democratic communism” is a socio-econo-political phenomenon.
But until a fourth secular aspect, the cultural aspect, is defined and incorporated into “democratic communism” one is still discussing secular fiction.
Axx fann (@fann_axx): July 9, 2014 Always embrace life… Profound thanks to Hugh for the attached…
Never forget the miracle of planting seeds that bear fruit…
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mMRrCYPxD0I Gotta love hope in mankind…
artistalexander: July 9, 2014 After a period of prolonged pondering of the proposed puzzle: “The apparently endless feeding and gyrating loop of mammon and modernization and how to ever escape its gravity”
It begins I believe within – transforming our current internal paradigm of thought:
from: How can I best profit from (the disorganized masses/my neighbor)
to: How can I best serve (humanity/my community/neighbor)
From this new(?) paradigm the level of innovation is enhanced I believe as opposed to suppressed (as does the current paradigm, e.g. still using oil for energy in the best interest of profit). …until it eventually corrupts and we start the whole process once again – or we somehow jump to an integrated level of consciousness way beyond corruption…
Tyberious: July 9, 2014 Russia approves creation of BRICS foreign exchange fund
The total volume of funds in the IMF is currently $369.05 billion, but the new BRICS fund will have $100 billion, though it is formed only by five countries. “The decision of the BRICS countries about the creation of a supranational organization analogous to the IMF seems logical and correct, says Anton Soroko, an analyst from the investment holding company FINAM.
“At the moment, the IMF has become something unwieldy and is practically not being reformed.” Soroko adds that the US is blocking the recapitalization of the IMF by developing countries since it risks losing a considerable amount of influence.
Vasily Yakimkin says the IMF delays lending for infrastructural and investment projects in developing countries, while overcharging interest.
According to UFSIC macroeconomics analyst Vasiliy Ukharskiy, if the project for the creation of a rival to the IMF is realized, and the bank functions properly, this will definitely bring the BRICS group to a new level.
“The most important thing is for the new organization not to suffer from the same problems that the IMF has – otherwise it will just be an attempt to gain control over the supranational economic superstructure,” Anton Soroko adds.
“I think that the parallel existence of these structures may bring benefits as they will one way or another start to compete for member-participants, which will push them to the more thoughtful evaluation of problems, and consequently, their solutions.”
Axx fann (@fann_axx): July 9, 2014 Take a step back…. If our modern and developed world is built on mammon how are we ever to escape its clutches and push forward with the full realization of humanities potential? – JC
As all attempt to decipher, all can argue to high heaven…
Germany, France, basically the world is detaching itself from the mother Petro dollar.
Change is necessary and realized by man collectively.
It is simply a matter of time which is now knocking on the door…
The U.S. is exhausting the inevitable. A foolhardy approach or well designed plan to minimize impact to America. LOL…
The so called white or dark hats is open to conjecture.
The overwhelming theme is good prevails over bad…
Interesting to postulate who is good at present.
As we attempt to dissect and understand, balance should become a common goal.
The path for now is obvious to the astute. Time, as always, will tell…
matt (@speedspirit42): July 9, 2014 Modernization would not have been so bad if Tesla technology would of prevailed. Along with many other patents that were bought and shelved by the Elite.
That suppression of technology has destroyed the lives of man, polluted our air and water. This had nothing to do with disorganized masses but pure greed and evil.
That evil still prevails and man has been disorganized from learning the truth. Trying to figure out these markets and political leaders is just more of the same.
Are there these Universal Laws that really determine how we are supposed to interact with matter and life that we have not been open to learning, understanding and co creating with that will return true peace and happiness to our souls.
matt (@speedspirit42): July 9, 2014 THE SHIFT Movie is a documentary film that shifts lenses and presents a worldview focused on the emerging consciousness around rapidly approaching, unprecedented Abundance, good will and an inspiring new story for the future for humanity, illustrating its many expressions http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=NGXFEFQf9qs
daneackerman: July 9, 2014 I came across this video today. Its a pretty decent overview of an idea on the components of mankind. Minus the corny laugh its laid out pretty good.
Clayton Albrecht: July 10, 2014 Matt, nice to hear the word co creation: an ancient term that evokes purpose and floods the concious with strangely familiar feelings. It is my purpose to Co-Create with my Creator and fellow Men.
As to answer JC’s question, i too find it a bit of the Chicken and the Egg, and my most recent theory is that there were always both and always must be both.
Opposites propell and another brain tickler (or mind-f***) is that there is “real-ly” no such thing as opposites, and since there is no such thing as opposites there can be no apparent sameness since there is no gauge to distinguish. But beside my scattered philosophical musings, I will attempt to be very “real” and direct when I state that:
I believe we live in terrible, wonderful times as the Age of Occult draws to an end and we again enter the Age of Enlightenment ( a progressive return to our Pristine Origins) where Man’s full potential is realized and so he finds purpose in Co-Creation upon all planes of being and once again establishes himself as a Creator weaving beautiful images into this blanket of being.
To conquer the beast that is Mammon, I now clearly see that we must collectively (but first, individually) learn to live as much as possible without it.
My vision of a splendid future has NO FORM OF CURRENCY whatsoever and as naive as it may seem to some, I truly have faith in Man and his higher aspirations that will help to pull him from this tar-pit of greed and deception.
I see a splendid incarnation where there is no man-made “system” in place and bartering is as common as breathing for we all possess different skill-sets (which hold just as much tangible value as intangible) which facilitate necessity for trading ideas, skills, tools.
In my vision, Man once again realizes he was given everything from the start from his Father Spirit and Mother Earth. We were not banned from the Garden, we chose to leave, or ignore its presence as the Garden is all around us, if not in material form than in potential.
I love you JC and your site, thankyou for your prevalent honesty and insight. May all of our purest images unite and unfold in a splendid state of reality.
Gustavsuare: July 10, 2014 I think these so-called elite wonder at the ease with which we the disorganized masses are led around by our desires. And I can imagine they resent it in the same way that a compassionate heroin dealer resents the addict. They may have dangled the carrot but we took it.
They don’t think twice about their complicity because it is about survival for them. I can imagine that they are more afraid of us then we are of them, afraid of one day waking up to the disorganized masses—without warning in a spark of spontaneous evolution-—organized.
