Post From KTFA by Memphis » March 15th, 2014
New post in SC thread where we examine the current press releases concerning the ALL IMPORTANT IMF 2010 Code of Reforms and do so in the context of the abject (wretched, miserable, hopeless, pathetic, pitiable, piteous, sorry, woeful, lamentable, degrading, appalling, atrocious, awful....) failure of our press/media outlets to do just one simple thing....inform.
This post should be of great interest to those who have been following our current treatment of: The Key To Everything
The Key to Everything The press? …not getting the job done.

Memphis: The press? …not getting the job done.
In our last post I spoke some about the media and their (near total) failure to allow for an informed citizenry. Recall a week ago when a major news anchor for RT quit her job ON THE AIR?!?
Her conscience could no longer handle the lies and half truths any longer. There simply is no middle ground guys as it is a discussion of extremes. She finally had to face this reality and in a rare and fresh display of integrity? She quit!
When there is opportunity to actually inform us, they instead control the discourse and often re-direct to give us a "side-show" of things having NOTHING of value. In this post you are about to see my latest "exhibit A" from yesterday's news.
Let's take my (thinly veiled) frustration here :thug: and put it to good use by tying this frustration back into the current news concerning the ALL IMPORTANT IMF 2010 Code of Reforms. Surely the news on this matter (of such supreme importance) coming from thehill.com will tell us the truth right?
[Memphis note: I do not discriminate. If you think I am picking on "The Hill"? Just send me an article from another news source and we as a class can…..examine.]
Think back to a week ago. Consider your own position, what you knew, thought you knew, and what you didn't know you didn't know about the discussion at hand. Now, FF to today after you have read, studied, and expanded your thinking....your awareness on "The Key to Everything".
Given this new reality, new paradigm, let's examine a news article that came to my email today. There is nothing especially noteworthy about it and it is actually nothing more than, I believe, a fair representation of what we read daily in the news.
You will be quite amazed at what it DOES NOT tell you concerning the IMF 2010 Code of Reforms and it's pivotal role in our nation! Things that (just a few days ago) might have escaped your attention.
In fact they carefully dance all around the truth about ANYTHING here by talking about the IRS 501(c)(4) language that has been attached to the bill and even mislead the reader on that point!
So, enjoy this article as you consider what "value" it would have had to you last weekend contrasted with the new perspective that you have on it today. You'll likely be amazed…. Blessings, Memphis
Reid blames Ukraine standoff on Kochs By Alexander Bolton - 03/13/14
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) on Thursday accused Republicans of holding up crucial assistance to Ukraine in order to protect the Koch brothers.
Reid tied the billionaires David and Charles Koch, who have bankrolled conservative causes, to GOP demands that language delaying the Internal Revenue Service’s regulation of nonprofit political advocacy groups be added to the Ukraine package.
Some conservative Republicans want the IRS language added if the bill is also to include reforms to the International Monetary Fund backed by the White House.
Reid has been on the warpath against the Koch brothers, with barely a day passing that doesn't include an attack on them.
“It’s hard for me to comprehend how with a clear conscience they could say, ‘Ukrainians, we probably can’t help you because we’re trying to protect the Koch brothers,’” he said on Thursday.
“And not only that, they’re saying to the American people that protecting the Koch brothers is more important than helping our country.”
The disagreement over IMF funding between Democratic and Republican leaders will prevent Congress from passing legislation to assist Ukraine before leaving for a weeklong recess at the end of this week.
Sen. Charles Schumer (N.Y.), the third-ranking Senate Democrat, dismissed the Republican demand as a nonstarter. He said even a one-year delay of the IRS rule-making would be unacceptable.
“The bottom line is this is so deleterious to our political system that there should not be a delay,” he said of political spending by social welfare groups that qualify under section 501(c)(4) of the tax code.
“Do you think any Americans, except the very few who are spending this money and benefiting, think we should allow this continue for even a day more? I don’t.
“This is serious stuff, it’s corrupting our political process. Everyday delay corrupts it more,” he said.
Schumer called IMF language contained in legislation approved by the Senate Foreign Relations necessary to blunt Russia’s influence over Ukraine.
The House has passed legislation that allows $1 billion in loan guarantees for Ukraine but does not include sanctions against Russia or IMF reform.
Schumer called IMF funding “our chit to put on the table when the Russians put their financial chit on the table, and it helps keep Ukraine free.”
“It’s just wrong that we’re the only country that is opposing the reforms to the IMF,” he said.
The Obama administration has asked Congress to approve a shift of $63 billion within the IMF from a special crisis fund to the general loan pool.
Republicans say the shift would leave the United States with less influence over the funding because general loans are approved by a simple majority of the IMF Executive Board.

NPR News ran a "news" article (below) titled: "What's Holding Up Ukraine Aid Bill In Congress? Anger Over IRS" on Friday as well... They are either avoiding the important details you have helped to reveal or are truly blind to the magnitude of the "story".
What's Holding Up Ukraine Aid Bill In Congress? Anger Over IRS
March 13, 2014 1:18 PM "…….(toward the end of the article)
This matters — to American politicians if not beleaguered Ukrainians — because social welfare groups are the hot item in campaign finance; they get to raise unlimited contributions from donors they don't have to disclose. So far, conservatives have a big advantage in this realm of secretly funded politics. ……….."
gratefulheart » NOW we know why they are so determined to get this bill slipped in and this is the perfect humanitarian place to try to hide it. If they can’t hide it … it looks like they are trying to shame and smear the “good name” of the folks not willing to allow it to pass.
