Millionday Roundtable 5/23/14 Part 1
Welcome To Friday Roundtable With Millionday!
[millionday] here we go --- Twilight News / said the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq on Friday that revenues of the first shipment of oil from the region transported through a pipeline to Turkey will be deposited in the creation of the Turkish Bank. altShe said in a statement seen by "Twilight News" that oil exports from the Kurdistan Turkish port of Ceyhan will continue despite opposition Iraqi central government, which is that sales are illegal.
[millionday] He said Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz on Friday that the first shipment of the region's oil exports transported by Onabebh new line to Turkey was sold to Italy or Germany.
He said in comments broadcast channel MTV. RSS. T TV on the air, "This crude oil is likely to go to Italy or Germany."
He added that the size of the shipment of about 1.05 million barrels of within about 2.5 million barrels were stored in the port.
The Kurdistan and Turkey have concluded a year agreements in the field of energy include the export of oil from the Kurdistan Region directly to Turkey via a new pipeline was completed a few months ago and extends to the port of Ceyhan.
[millionday] note -- so kurdistan is depositing the oil proceeds in an account in Turkey
[millionday] The agreement raised the wrath of officials in Baghdad, who assert that the federal government is the only owner of the right in the management of energy resources, and it rejects any attempt to export oil in isolation from it.
Baghdad and included a clause in the draft budget for 2014 is required Kurdistan to export 400 thousand barrels per day of oil in favor of the federal government, otherwise they will be exposed to deduct part of their budget. Over the months conducting Baghdad and Erbil talks as Turkey tried
[millionday] Over the months conducting Baghdad and Erbil talks as Turkey tried to mediate between the two sides to find a way out of the crisis, which has worsened recently after wave of Baghdad to cut off funds for Kurdistan and delayed sending the salaries of employees since the beginning of this year.
The Kurdish transports crude to world markets via a pipeline Kirkuk - Ceyhan which is controlled by Baghdad to Turkey, but the Kurdish exports across the track stopped in late 2012 because of a dispute over payments.
[millionday] so the most interesting thing about this other than the stand against Federal gov of Iraq is that it is stamped with approval to be released to social sites fishheads] so Raghdad doesnt pay the kurds so the expect the kurds to just give them everything? Hmmmmm Sounds like Democracy to me. lol
[popeye7] I do not think that the Kurds would be doing this unless there was some sort of an agreement... Not only with Baghdad, but with the international community... There is something we are not being told IMHO... Your thoughts millionday, or anyone else..
[millionday] we looked at a huge statement the other day that Iraq is forming a media relationship in order to send information to all citizens so they are informed on all that is going on so this is new
[popeye7] fishhead.. lol
[sczin11] popeye7 can u say HCL.....???????
[fishheads] sczin11 LCH
drgolow] This is the social sites you speak of?
[millionday] popeye7 i agree -- it would result in huge meetings with the international community and demands etc -- no the social sites in Iraq
[letsroll] popeye7 something has happened and kurdistan is ready to get going they have a region to support and protect ... cheers
[millionday] very interesting that they are giving the ok to release to social media -- just new and we like new is should say
[popeye7] letsroll... Like your name says... Letsroll with the RV.. lol
[millionday] i would say so -- they would not just begin selling oil and putting the proceeds up in banks
[millionday] imo brb with more
[znn] millionday But they are being held in Turkish banks?
[drgolow] There version of off shore account
[sczin11] drgolow lol
[millionday] yes they are according to this but to be putting it in accounts that are not approved would raise a huge uproar
[millionday] drgolow lol get the tax scale out lol brb
[drgolow] That's fatca
[sczin11] millionday lol
joekid] It's a way for Kurdistan to guarantee that they will get 17% of the budget without having to wait on Baghdad and their manipulation.
[millionday] sometimes i hit the nail right on the head -- look at this
[millionday] called an MP for the Liberal bloc member of the Finance Committee Magda Tamimi Presidency of the Council of Representatives to convene an emergency session early next week to discuss the draft general budget bill.
called in a statement today all the political blocs in the House of Representatives to attend the session, especially the members of the Finance Committee, to discuss the budget bill and voting on them and it absolutely necessary that entails approving the budget,
[millionday] which was left from the age of Iraqi Council of Representatives is a few days. said Tamimi: "the political blocs not to politicize the budget as an important law for Iraq and the Iraqi citizen., and citizen looking forward to approval in order to conduct vital projects concerning the reality of Iraq and the citizen, and because the delay approval disrupted a lot of projects.
" The House of Representatives has raised its sixth of last month until further notice until a final consensus on the balance between the central government and the Kurdistan region
