Millionday News 6/23/14 Part 2
Welcome To Monday Night News Time With Millionday!
[millionday] the announcements going on is to put it before the higher beings -- the UN and the US ect --- that is added pressure beyond anything that can be put out there by any others --
[millionday] i am talking about the demands of the kurds --- they have a lot to do before it would work for them to be a separate state but the pressure is fantastic
[millionday] the conference i just brought to you is great due to the many products they are planning on exporting and the market they want to control --- modernizing production is what needed to be done - for the amount they need to comply with and also the high quality ok brb with more
[ten4god] Looks like the Kurds are playing poker
[millionday] i agree ten4god
millionday] here we go with more from the US on this -- Said U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, on Monday, that his country is equipped with several options to help Iraq in its war against terrorism,
while stressing the need for coordination between Iraqi leaders to overcome their differences and speed up the formation of the government, stressed that Washington would not interfere in the selection of a head of the next government.
Kerry said at a news conference in Baghdad, attended by "time", "The United States has a number of good things to help Iraq in its war against terrorism," pointing out that "the United States will provide intensive support for Iraq to help it cope with an attack" Daash.
[millionday] note -- the thing he is saying that we will come and oh boy do we have a lot to help with but only if they form the next gov by july 1st
[millionday] He pledged U.S. Secretary of State that "the United States will provide intensive support for Iraq to help it cope with an attack by insurgents.
He said Kerry told reporters that "support will be intensive and continuous, and if they took the Iraqi leaders the necessary steps to unite the country, this support will be effective."
confirmed Kerry that "the militants who launched a major offensive took control through the vast areas north of Baghdad pose an existential threat to Iraq, and the Iraq's leaders have to face this threat.
[millionday] Kerry called Iraqi political leaders to "the need to unite and move away from the divisions in order to overcome differences and accelerate the formation of the government," stressing that "Washington will not interfere in the selection of a prime minister to come."
[ROBINREDHED] accelerate the formation of the government
[millionday] so we will not put our 2 cents in on the pm in public --- they have until july 1st
mudder] If the gov is formed by Jul 1. What has to be done before that???
[millionday] this could be a direct result of the statement from the kurds -- it would not surprise me but not in ink the parliament has already been certified and will start work either the 24th or the 30th of this month -- and the pm has to be chosen
millionday] smile -- let me look for more brb
BGG] Does anyone mind if I chime in here??
[BGG] I am very encouraged with the current news reports - FOX, CNN etc, etc...
[BGG] Very, very good news for us...
[BGG] on one hand they profess not having a hand in choosing the next Iraq PM - while on the other hand they are exerting MASSIVE pressure.
[BGG] Kerry is asserting the next week being a pivotal time for Iraq. I think he is "telegraphing" some imminent change.
[millionday] he is demanding the new gov to be in place or the US will not help
[millionday] here we go >>> Promised the Liberal bloc, said Tuesday that the meetings of the political blocs, which was held at the home of the President of the National Alliance was "just hearings will not result in any solution to the Iraq crisis,"
asserting that he is counting on what will be determined by the National Coalition over the next couple of days, and he will attend the first session of the new parliament , while a coalition of student Najafi postpone those to make way for the hearing in front of the largest political blocs to agree on the three presidencies, most likely the Kurdistan Alliance postponed,
confirming that most of the masses demanding the outgoing prime minister, Nuri al-Maliki, to resign and not to renew his third time. A member of the Liberal bloc's parliamentary Sadrist movement, Prince Kanani, in an interview to the newspaper (range), "The meetings of the political forces in the home of the President of the National Alliance, Ibrahim al-Jaafari, both those that took place recently, or which will be held
[BGG] Exactly - the "new" gov't - not including Maliki.
[millionday] note -- the national alliance meeting was to choose the next three presidents
[BGG] they have taken great pains to show no support for Maliki
[millionday] note -- more than likely they say maliki will be asked to step down
[millionday] he has to be placed in and those in this report are also talking about the meeting at jaffari`s house as well
[ROBINREDHED] i guess i dont understand, didnt they have an election to elect a pm, or is that an appointed position?
[ROBINREDHED] i thought elected so why wouldnt we be going w the elected official
[millionday] current crisis through which Iraq, "attributing it to being" just hearing the views of the political blocs. " Kanani said, that "the Liberal bloc do not count on those meetings because of lack of vision within the National Alliance to exit the program to resolve the current crisis,"
noting that "what count it in the next term is what will be determined by the Iraqi National Coalition, of solutions to the political crisis during the next couple of days."
And saw a member of the Liberal bloc parliamentary, that it is necessary "to address the terrorist attacks that pose a threat to the unity of Iraq, taking the views of the other political blocs, and a commitment to Baltoukitat constitutional to hold the first session of the new parliament,"
warning that "the failure of those meetings decisively choose a candidate for prime minister The next major and Parliament of the Republic, will open the door to greater difficulties and problems. " Kanani promised, that "security solutions is not sufficient on it
[millionday] ROBINREDHED the winning party appoints normally - unless they are carried out
[BGG] PM is "elected" from among the Parliament members after their first meeting.
[BGG] or appointed - functionally the same effect
[millionday] Kanani promised, that "security solutions is not sufficient on its own to address the current crisis, unless accompanied by political solutions," adding that "the meeting of the political blocs should focus on the adoption of a project to save Iraq."
Sadrist lawmaker suggested, that "include meetings of the political blocs to resolve the three presidencies, through the names of the candidates put forward for discussion,"
stressing that "the National Coalition, and the citizen, both Liberals, will attend the first session of the new parliament." He called Kanani, the new deputies to the need "to attend the first session of the parliament to be sworn at the very least,"
pointing out that "could oldest member, who will chair the first meeting of the parliament (President of the Age), to postpone the hearing for a week or more to give the political blocs opportunity to discuss the formation of the next government and the distribution of the sovereign. "
[Plowboy] BGG kind of like our electoral college?
[millionday] oh boy -- note -- so even the issue of three presidencies was up in the air and all parties are now meeting -- the way it is supposed to be done is different than what i am trying to show you here
[millionday] normally they dont meet at homes and hold meetings to discuss who is going to do what ect -- the way things are going on are not the way they should be going on
[millionday] it could be the security issues or it could be the secrecy they are showing in what they want to happen -- it is hard to tell but this is not the norm
[millionday] see look at this
[millionday] But a member of the coalition are united for reform, Rashid al-Azzawi, said, "Failure to Report coalition until now the new date of the meeting of the political blocs Jaafari's house, nor its agenda." A member of the coalition, which is led by parliament speaker, Osama al-Nujaifi, said in an interview to the newspaper (range),
"The coalition will determine the position and proposals after receiving an invitation to the meeting and its agenda," and urged "the postponement of the first session of the new parliament to make way for political blocs to agree on the three presidencies ".
He said al-Azzawi, that "the MP for the coalition of state law, Abboud al-Issawi, who will chair the first session of the new parliament being the largest parliamentarians are not."
It was likely the Kurdistan Alliance, to lead the meeting of leaders of political blocs in the house of al-Jaafari, to postpone the first session of the new parliament to give a greater chance of the political blocs to agree on the three presidencies.
millionday] A member of the coalition, Mahma Khalil, in an interview to the newspaper (range), said that "most of the political blocs demanding the resignation of Prime Minister outgoing Nuri al-Maliki, and the non-renewal him a third time, after the deterioration of security that Iraq is going through,"
adding that "coalition Kurdistan will determine the position of attending the first session of the Parliament during the next couple of days. " Khelil predicted that "looking the next meeting of political forces in the house of al-Jaafari, the issue of forming a new government and the security situation, as well as the issue of convening the first session of the next parliament."
[millionday] note -- when the gov is not supporting you it is very hard to be voted or appointed in by anyone -- the election is over however -- not much support showing for maliki
[millionday] and here is from the kurds on it >> The Kurdistan Alliance, on Friday, (the 20th of June 2014 present), did not support calls to hold a first meeting of the parliament without agreement on the selection of the Parliament and of the Republic,
and among that hold a hearing without the approval of the four deputies by the Federal Court is a "constitutional violation ", he stressed that his participation in the meeting will be determined by agreement between the political blocs in Baghdad and the Kurdish delegation negotiating opinion,
blaming those responsible for the management of the country responsible for the current crisis. He also called for a coalition of national led by Iyad Allawi, on Saturday (21 June current), to postpone the first session of the new parliament until the approval of the Federal Court the names of the deputies of all,
to provide an opportunity for a political agreement "save the country from disintegration," and threatened that he "refrain" About attend otherwise.
[millionday] note -- so they are still expecting their place in the gov and the courts -- this is very telling of the pressure we were talking about
[millionday] this is the last part of this report i am going to bring
[millionday] It is noteworthy that the Constitution required the President, at the invitation of the new parliament to convene within 15 days of the ratification of the election results, with the possibility to extend this invitation for once.
The Federal Supreme Court, ratified last Monday (the 16th of June 2014 present), the results of the parliamentary elections that took place on the 30th of April 2014, while deferred consideration of four names, the existence of judicial cases against them.
Iraq has been since the announcement of the results of the parliamentary elections that took place on the thirtieth of April 2014, a movement heated on who will form a government, under the stuck head of a coalition of state law, Nuri al-Maliki, the state Third, the opposition blocks Shiite head of highlighted block free bra, so, as well as the Kurdistan Alliance and the Sunni powers salient, and most importantly united coalition for reform, led by parliament speaker, Osama al-Nujaifi, as well as the National Coalition
[millionday] so as we see the date would come out to be the 30th and also the setting of the next gov is an argument it appears so we shall see as Kerry said and many reports -- this week is huge and will show the move on Iraqs part of the cross roads they are at
[quicktolegit96] FYI: THIS IS FOR SECRECY, THEY DID EXACTLY SAME THING BACK IN 2004 WHEN WE PROTECTED A WHITE AND GREEN HOUSE 2 days a week, these houses were SADAAM'S sons palaces located in Baghdad....we were hired for that same exact reason ---meetings
[letsroll] millionday either my mind is completely fried.. but havent they had meetings at al-Jaafari 's house in the past ... thanks for newstime
[millionday] yes they had them also in the past few days and those were about the formation of the gov as well
