(i get it)... in the past, OPEC at the hint of decreasing oil production would dive up crude prices (reflected in the gas pumps). The ME countries as well as Russian and Iran are dependent on Oil revenues.
So the low price of oil is putting pressure on the oil producing countries.
If the above is correct...Question, what befits OPEC in NOT reducing oil output in order to see price increase? Is it security, meaning crushing counties that are not friends with the other such as SA? thank you
