_8:52 PM [MRP] I was talking to my ex-partner who does a lot of web design for wealth managers today. He mentioned to me that one of this clients has multi-million dollars clients in the Middle East.
Apparently, he had asked the client about the dinar investment. His client was very high on the dinar's future. He, however, suggested to my ex-partner that he invest only what he could afford.
He said, "Don't invest your child support, rent, etc." Treat this as a long term investment where the money you invest for all intents and purposes is gone for awhile.

_8:56 PM [MRP] puppygirl I really admire our Tolen, because he doesn't get emotional about the intel or lack thereof at all. He said that when he took investment classes the first thing they told him was to lose his emotional attachment to his investments. Think that's why he has grown his 401K so well.
8:57 PM [puppygirl] MRP absolutely.... detatchment is the key to all forward progess. That has been my experience.
8:57 PM [MRP] By the way, I received a text from Studley. I mentioned to him that everyone cared about him, misses him, etc. He asked me to tell you that he is extremely busy at the moment and that is why he hasn't been in to chat. Sends his regards!
8:59 PM [MRP] xyz Timing is always an issue in any business deal, and it usually seems to be out of everyone's control. I've known people who had great business ideas and worked decades to make them a reality. I suspect the RV isn't any different.
9:03 PM [~PETERSMA] maw33312 IMO not even relating to the RV, I believe that Iraq will always have the focus of the US. Always has, always will. Throughout history, we have an interest in their oil, their status as an ally or as an opponent. I dont thinnk they will ever 'fall off the US radar'
9:03 PM [queenmum] MRP I think it helped me with this investment but I have one other investment that took 12yrs to mature and did fantastic 6x's my money worth the wait. We too seated for a long time...
9:06 PM [MRP] findmoney I have a feeling it will be decades from now before we know a fraction of what went into our foreign policies, involvement in wars, etc. over the last 15 years. I just don't have a black and white point of view on this at the moment.
