Family.....just a heads up.....an opinion of mine that has been twirling around in my head today.......we saw the world in a state of distress on Friday.....a number of currencies were cratering.....on the brink of new lows.....but what have we seen since then.....the CBI has been announcing almost daily they are ready to move forward in a way that we have never witnessed before.....
They are performing bigger and better auctions, to the tune of 200 billion a pop, every two weeks of 2014.....then they jump up when the world is looking in a different direction last week and announce.....we have gold for sale.....we sit upon mountains of gold as a country....maybe better than oil in the long run.....they seem to be to be proving themselves to someone, not just the Iraqi government or people......but the international banking world.....they have confidence that has not been there before.....
They show poise in ways that would be expected of an international leader. Their time has come....IMO. Randy

Bandit: Hi Trident,I always love reading your posts.... so with that said...... I will play along and agree with your thought that the dinar has already revalued.
BUT,..................That begs the following two questions:
1. Why "hide" it from the world?
2. How long will they hide it from us?

Hello, Bandit. You pose two great questions from the previous thread. Hopefully, this will help. Strictly IMO, of course:
Yes, I do believe the IQD has already revalued. Why then, is the rate "hidden" from us? It's not hidden in the common sense of the word. It's being "selectively managed" by high-level governmental and financial concerns in-country.
Very carefully controlled, and here's why: The Tariff Law is a fact...the CBI Bond Sale is a fact. They are not going to be able to implement what they've discussed with the 2014 budget using a program rate.
We must remember that Iraqi news organizations do not have a Freedom Of Information Act to work with. Their media is only going to report what they are told to report via a written statement, or an authorized press conference.
At that level, the rate is a "need to know", and we don't need to know. It is clearly manipulated for public consumption. For me, if it doesn't originate with the Governor of the CBI, or the Arabic side of their website, I don't pay a whole lot of attention to it at this point.
As to the "when" of your second question, with respect brother, if I knew that, I'd be online right now from Basel, Switzerland. It is my firm conviction that nobody, and I mean nobody, outside of the BIS knows just when the physical currency will be released for actual exchange.
The IQD is a big part, but not the only part, of what we are seeing unfold right before our eyes on a global scale. Because human beings are involved on all levels, there will be rumors, and whisperings of more rumors, but my money says every single one of them will be proven false...until this egg truly cracks for all to see.
I've learned to leave my fears, worries, and what I don't know (trust me, that encompasses a whole lot of things) at The Cross; I don't have the answer to your second question, but you and I both know Who does. Stay connected to Jesus. He is truly our power source for this journey, and soon to be odyssey, in His Name. Soli Deo Gloria

1/26/2014 |China Halts Bank Cash Transfers
The People’s Bank of China, the central bank, has just ordered commercial banks to halt cash transfers.
This notice, for instance, appears on the online portal for Citigroup's Citibank unit for its China customers:
1. Due to the system maintenance of People’s Bank of China, Domestic RMB Fund Transfer through Citibank (China) Online and Citi Mobile will be delayed during January 30th 2014, 16:00pm to February 2nd 2014, 18:30pm. As to the fund availability at the receiving bank, it depends on the processing requirements and turnaround time of the receiving bank. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Frank26: TY JJ ........... But I want You to make a note of this:For right now ....... Nothing ............ NOTHING outside of the CBI is relevant nor important to what You seek.
A new rate to replace the program rate for article 8 compliance of the IMF.
Once we have that ............ THEN look at how China is helped.

UNDERSTANDING WOMEN (A MAN'S PERSPECTIVE)
I know I'm not going to understand women.
I'll never understand how you can take boiling hot wax, pour it onto your upper thigh, rip the hair out by the root, and still be afraid of a spider.
While attending a Marriage Seminar dealing with communication,
Tom and his wife Grace listened to the instructor, 'It is essential that husbands and wives know each other's likes and dislikes.'
He addressed the man, 'Can you name your wife's favorite flower?'
Tom leaned over, touched his wife's arm gently and whispered, 'It's Pillsbury, isn't it?
WIFE VS. HUSBAND
A couple drove down a country road for several miles, not saying a word.
An earlier discussion had led to an argument and neither of them wanted to concede their position.
As they passed a barnyard of mules, goats, and pigs, the husband asked sarcastically, 'Relatives of yours?'
'Yep,' the wife replied, 'in-laws.'
A man said to his wife one day, 'I don't know how you can be so stupid and so beautiful all at the same time.
'The wife responded, 'Allow me to explain. God made me beautiful so you would be attracted to me;
God made me stupid so I would be attracted to you!
WHO DOES WHAT
A man and his wife were having an argument about who should brew the coffee each morning.
The wife said, 'You should do it because you get up first, and then we don't have to wait as long to get our coffee.
The husband said, 'You are in charge of cooking around here and you should do it, because that is your job, and I can just wait for my coffee.'
Wife replies, 'No, you should do it, and besides, it is in the Bible that the man should do the coffee.'
Husband replies, 'I can't believe that, show me.'
So she fetched the Bible, and opened the New Testament and showed him at the top of several pages, that it indeed says 'HEBREWS'
'Cash, check or charge?' I asked, after folding items the woman wished to purchase.
As she fumbled for her wallet ,I noticed a remote control for a television set in her purse.
'So, do you always carry your TV remote?' I asked.
'No,' she replied, 'but my husband refused to come shopping with me, and I figured this was the most evil thing I could do to him legally.'
