AJM0603 January 30, 2015 at 8:27am So I guess its what we always heard: we wouldnt go to banks before the Iraqis. Their Banks are closed Fridays, their Holy Day. So I figure tonight or tomorrow night? Your thoughts?
Isaac > AJM0603 I wasn't planning on going to the bank till next week anyways, so its fine with me. I think its real interesting that this is Super Bowl weekend. Most of our people will be totally distracted and focused on this event and partying. What a slick way to slide this in almost un-noticed. Touchdown weekend!!!!
MacMandeere > Isaac I said that about 3 weeks ago, and got pummeled with negativity, for being so negative. I just made sense to me. For many Americans, the big game last for weeks, and talked about for days after.
Its also, the beginning of a new month. Iraq, as with most governments, does its disbursements on the first of the month.
Now that the budget is law, They either RI this weekend, or wait another year. IMO I do not think the system will wait another year and would require another late budget.
The GOI is savvy enough to realize if they disburse dinars at an 1166 rate and then RI they have just made a total mess of their budget process and made many more millionaires than they will have already.
D.K.C. > Isaac Monday is Groundhogs Day.......With all the references through the years of every day in Dinarland feeling like "Groundhog Day" It would be very ironic if thats the day we start exchanging...lol.....and would become my newest favorite holiday!
OilRat > January 29, 2015 at 9:11pm Just heard from one of my contacts after a three-plus week of silence. He was told (by a high three letter international agency) we could possibly see an RV/GCR tomorrow and/or this weekend, with the dinar right at four D..... he said we should be in the banks by Monday....because we've been here before, please treat as rumor until it happens.....JMO
LVegas > OilRat January 29, 2015 at 9:21pm We'll take it, It appears lot of activity and my contacts say very similar things. Mine say by the 31st..as goes public 31/1st. Thanks for the Intel..

Russia increases gold purchases by 123%
The Central Bank of Russia bought a record amount of gold in the first 11 months of 2014 spending an estimated $6.1 billion. Increasing gold reserves attempts to reduce dependence on the dollar amid geopolitical tension, Mark O’Byrne of GoldCore, told RT.
Russia’s gold purchases accounted for a third of the world’s total of 461 tons, according to research by Thomson Reuters GFMS (Gold Fields Mineral Services). The amount of gold bought went up 123 percent from the previous year to 152 tons, worth $6.1 billion at current prices. It’s the most Russia has spent since the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Greece rejects return of EU/IMF inspectors to Athens-source
ATHENS Fri Jan 30, 2015 8:57am EST
Jan 30 (Reuters) - Greece will refuse the planned return of European Union and International Monetary Fund inspectors to the country since the new government rejects the 240-billion-euro bailout programme, a government official told Reuters on Friday.
[WCW] (Late Thursday Night) Well hello to all of my rich friends. I have been faithful to this budget for the last 3 years it's got me in trouble a bunch of time and almost run out of every chat room. Well I think that you all know by now that I have spoke the truth . Just keep the faith cause the new RVed rate will be in the In the Gazette , so that means RV first
rxsalesokc ;I know a person that did not know about this RV get a call from his banker recommending him to hurry up and buy some VND yesterday. This goes to show that there will be a tremendous amount of folks getting referral advice at the last minute which will not understand the process. With that said, More Banks are talking which is very positive ..
RVAlready: Seems like there is nothing else to discuss. CBI will probably set the rate when they return to work on Sunday.

Millionday WE HAVE A BUDGET. SO NOW IT HAS TO BE SIGNED BY THE PRESIDENT AND THEN PRINTED IN THE GAZETTE -- WHICH BOTH CAN BE DONE AT ANYTIME...
WHEN IT IS POSTED IN THE GAZETTE IT IS ACTIVATED BECAUSE IT IS LAW AT THAT POINT.
[when do you project the budget to be printed in the gazette?]
Millionday THE PRESIDENT HAS 15 BY THE CONSTITUTION BUT HAS HELD PARLIAMENT WORKING AROUND THE CLOCK SO I WOULD THINK THAT HE IS NOT TAKING THAT LONG DUE TO THE OBVIOUS HURRY WE HAVE WITNESSED FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER -- AND IT IS PRINTED RIGHT AFTER HE SIGNS IT.
[when the budget is moved to the gazette, we will see the figures?]
Millionday THE FIGURES THAT THEY HAVE NOW ARE AT THE CURRENT RATE AND PURCHASING POWER WITHIN THE COUNTRY --- SO ANY DATA ENTRY TO CHANGE THIS WILL BE SEEN THROUGHOUT CBI -- ISX -- AND ANY OTHER PLACE THAT THE DINAR IS APPLIED.
NOT ONLY HAVE THEY VOTED ON THE BUDGET BUT MANY THINGS AND THIS IS ONE OF THEM ----
THEY VOTED TO INSTRUCT THE MINISTER OF PLANNING AND FINANCE TO PROVIDE THE FIGURES FOR THE BUDGET --- VERY STRANGE ANNOUNCEMENT WITH THE BUDGET HAVING FIGURES WITHIN IT -- HMMMM, OBVIOUSLY THE PLAN MUST HAVE FIGURES IN IT... SMILE.
[arizona49] Out from the doghouse and down ramp ran Dolly followed by four little bundles of fur. The little boy pressed his face against the chain link fence. His eyes danced with delight.
As the dogs made their way to the fence, the little boy noticed something else stirring inside the doghouse. Slowly another little bundle appeared, this one noticeably smaller. Down the ramp it slid. Then in a awkward manner, the little pup began hobbling toward the others, doing its best to catch up….
“I want that one,” the little boy said, pointing to the runt. The farmer knelt down at the boy’s side and said, “Son, you don’t want that puppy. He will never be able to run and play with you like these other dogs would.”
With that the little boy stepped back from the fence, reached down, and began rolling up one leg of his trousers. In doing so he revealed a steel brace running down both sides of his leg attaching itself to a specially made shoe.
Looking back up at the farmer, he said, “You see sir, I don’t run too well myself, and he will need someone who understands.” With tears in his eyes, the farmer reached down and picked up the little pup. Holding it carefully he handed it to the little boy. “How much?” asked the little boy. “No charge,” answered the farmer, “There’s no charge for love.” The End
