[Blue Knight] Yesterday was the first time ever that I had a Wells Fargo banker to admit anything about the Dinar . While at his desk he admitted several at his location owned dinar! He actually gave me his cell and personal email to send him call and other information. He nodded he was aware of a contract rate. He did say that as far as he knew Wells fargo has not been cashing out anyone ? Also said this was not a scam. Everyone knows I have always been hard on dank stories. Well this is first hand not from a friend. This is not much but a first for me !
PinkRoses: Zimbabwe currency 01/29/2014 This morning at work, my friend came to see me to inform me that in 4 countries the Zimbabwe was being exchanged with 6 or 7 zeros removed from the 100 trillion dollar Zimbabwe note
at .12.5 cents at the international rate.
He has no reason to just make this up. He has made millions in the foreign currency buying and trading monies. He was pretty excited about it, and said he would contact me soon and give me more info. Just wanted to share the news with you all to show it is happening around the world.

Here comes Wednesday's morning news summaries:
Kurdistan: We will attend Thursday's meeting to read the draft budget
The Kurds are coming....the Kurds are coming.....to the reading of the budget on Thursday....tomorrow....it seems that they have resolved issues that they may have had with Baghdad.....or so this article leads one to believe. They also say that they were were not the cause of the delay on Tuesday....that it was a parliamentary issue that the law had not gone before applicable committees at that point....that too has been remedied.....I am sure there will be more articles out today on this subject.
Parliamentary Finance: lending process to fill the budget deficit "risk"
Well I was attempting to pull a Dave Ramsey quote from the cobwebs of my brain but it's not working this morning...oh yes my brain is working fine....just the retrieval aspect seems to be misfiring......anyhow......someone realizes that debt is bad...imagine that....for the GOI to look at going into debt it has repercussions that come with it.....those can affect their economy if they are not careful. They have two ways of going to take care of the deficit.....they can borrow "internally" through the CBI as we heard on the Monday night CC.....I believe when they talk about "offering securities" these would be the sovereign bonds that we heard about.....or.....they can go outside to seek a loan....probably to the IMF......if they are smart....IMO.....this would not be a wise choice.....as they have borrowed there in the past.....and any further dipping may be a sign of weakness on their part.
[Arabtec] major Gulf companies plan to open an office in Baghdad
How do you spell "growth"....by enticing foreign companies to bring their business to your country......Arabtec has conducted business all over the world, was responsible for the construction of the tallest building in the world and numerous other big projects.....I look for them to do good things for Iraq as they enter into business agreements within the country.
US does not take side in Iraqi oil issue :US House representative
An interview with US House Rep Cathy McMorris Rodgers.....she states that the US does not and will not take sides when it comes to internal strife in Iraq.....the US supports increasing production and exports to markets throughout the world....she points to maintaining a unified and federal Iraq.....that means following the federal Constitution.....she says that Congress is working to promote US companies to work with Iraq on doing future business with them.
Abadi's "time": the budget will not pass easily .. And delayed embarrass him sent to Parliament
IMO.....this MP of the Legal Committee needs to read his news before getting in front of a microphone.....keep in mind Family this is but one voice.....his opinion....nothing more......he is taking shots at the COM for getting the budget to Parliament "late"....claiming they intend to embarrass Parliament.....take notice that these kinds of interviews almost never speak to others who are also on board concerning the subject of discussion.....we will let Thursday tell us more.
House of Representatives allocates its budget tomorrow to read and discuss the report of the rebuilding of mud schools
The big topic out of this article is that the 2014 budget is on the agenda for Thursday.
Aziz Mayahi: the financial budget is biased and will not allow passing
An MP from one of the poorer provinces in Iraq is making a claim that the budget is biased towards the provinces that produce oil.....well....that is probably true.....to some extent.....they must foot the risk associated with the oil and gas production, the costs associated with the infrastructure to go to market, etc.....they should reap greater returns.....I'm not saying leave the other provinces out....yes there should be something done for all Iraqi's....IMO.....they don't have the cart before the horse.....these MP's are supposedly intelligent people....they need to be telling the COM months in advance their issues and not waiting until it is time to pass the budget what their complaints are all about.....I'm sorry they missed the boat and it has left the dock.
Mahma Khalil budget will not be returned to the government and will vote it as soon as it
Well well well.....the Kurds are now sounding very cocky that the budget will be approved in the House and will not have to be returned to the COM.....seems that this is the second article to state this attitude from the Kurds today.....could it be so.....let's hope so.
Deputy for the National Alliance, confirm that the vote on the budget unless ensure the equitable distribution of wealth between the provinces
More rhetoric from the poorer provinces speaking out against approval of the budget because the oil producing provinces are to be given more of the petrodollars......sorry but in my opinion.....they earned it.....they need to change the Constitution to allow for some designated amount be given to the other provinces....and again as I stated earlier......this is final crunch time.....this issue should have been brought before the COM months ago, not today.
Director of Iraqi Stock Exchange does not expect the inclusion of "Zain Iraq" several months ago, at least
Zain is a mobile phone company that is trying to get listed on the ISX and are finding out that it's not as easy as "poof" and you are in.....as is typical in Iraq, nothing happens overnight....their efforts will likely take 3-4 months or longer to get listed....and require a sizable amount of stock to be put up as well.
Kurdish Population Growth Not Reflected in Next Iraqi Elections
What is this.....another Kurdistan issue.....this time over population count......it seems that Iraqi law stipulates they use coupons issued for food rations by the Trade Ministry. The Kurds are saying though, they have data from within their region that supports the idea they have many more citizens of legal age to vote than what they are getting credit for. The Iraqi Trade Minister is a Kurd and says that some of the issue has to do with polygamy......Kurd families have an average of 2-3 children, while the remainder of Iraq the average is 8-9.
Barzani: We give Baghdad to resolve the export of oil and otherwise «we will act according to the Constitution»
Well, I have to say that I am not surprised to see this article......that it seems to be saying there still remains some points of contention between the Kurds and Baghdad on the oil front.....most notably the expected involvement of SOMO in the oil and gas distribution from the Kurdistan region.....as well as the sale of said oil.....the Kurds want that control....but Baghdad says it is theirs to control......ok....for now I'll just sit on the fence and watch the volley's back and forth.
Kurdistan: Kurdish state our dream, but we did not think about it now
Family we have had discussion about dreams...make them big.....the Kurds are doing this.....but know that today they are not ready for this in reality.....there are many things that must come to pass for this to become real for them. They are headed in the right direction, they have formed a very strong government within their region, one that obviously gives Baghdad a run for their money.....they strongly encourage foreign trade interactions.....they are experiencing far less issues with violence than many other areas of Iraq.....but they have many obstacles to overcome to gain their independence. They proudly are taking one step at a time.
Kurdistan Alliance: a long way to resolving disputes in the absence of oil and gas law
The Kurds seem to realize that full resolution will only come in the form of eventual approval of the HCL.....and in the absence of that......they continue to fight for what they believe is their right. Some of the issue that I see with this is there are two different constitutions in play here.....the one from Baghdad that rules over all of Iraq.....and the one that was written for the Kurdistan region......they do not mix well and it is a matter of who has precedence over the other.....it seems to me that the Baghdad constitution would be the law of the land.....and that the Kurds constitution could not overrule anything at the national level.....do they have an agreement signed from the past that states differently....maybe.....imo.....they need to come back to whatever round, oval, square table they have to negotiate over and get something done with the HCL.
Investment Authority plans to spend a trillion dollars in ten years
Pretty straight forward article that says Investment Authority will be pumping around a trillion dollars into Iraq over the next ten years....much of this going towards oil and gas sectors as well as special projects and housing.
Iraq eyes return to Opec quota system
Iraq understands that for years they have been able to live outside of the Opec quota system.....they are now up to 3 million barrels a day of oil production....second only to Saudi Arabia in the Opec cartel.....they expect that production will be at or near 4 million barrels a day by the end of this year.....analysts claim this is very optimistic of Iraq, given storage bottleneck issues and weather related problems that can curtail production.....at some point they know they will be returned to a given quota within Opec.....they are just not sure how soon that will be.
Sales supermarkets during November amounted to 3.3 billion dinars
Well, here is a topic that we don't often hear from in Iraq......supermarket sales for November topped 3 billion dinars.....and I suspect that was done without any Black Friday sales....LOL....ration card revenue for the same time was 218 million dinars. The company seems happy with this November achievement and will be striving for sustainability going forward.
Claims is implementing a project to link the divided national banks unified communications network
Family look back in your notes.....remember the bid that was tendered at or near the first of the month for IT support with the CBI.....this makes me wonder if it could be the same......this article is stating that the CBI has contracted with a global company to interconnect the CBI and the Iraqi banks within a global system that will allow for ease of communication between the banks and the CBI and other international banks as well......I like the sound of this.....more modern upgrades for the Iraqi banking industry.
Finance parliamentary budget law excludes read in Thursday's session
Bickering....more bickering....my question concerning this article....what exactly was the Finance Committee doing yesterday or today for that matter....are they all out golfing....or chasing camels.....burn some midnight oil and look this budget over. Stop pointing out what is wrong.....don't be a part of the problem....be a part of the solution......they KNOW that the Finance Committee must look at the budget before they read it.....where have they been for the past two weeks....for the last two days....stop already with the bickering.
Kurdish leader: the differences on the budget and not many Kurds Tguetsraly
Yet another member of the Kurdish delegation that seems to think that there are still issues between them and Baghdad....but they are not insurmountable.....but will they materially hold up things.....let's wait and see who shows up to the table tomorrow and go from there.
The government "comply" with the demands of the provinces decided to raise oil and petrodollars
We have heard already that the COM has reinstated the $5 petrodollars....this article also speaks to them discussing equity between the oil producing provinces and the non-oil producing provinces.....I'm hoping we read more on this soon.
Iraqi Parliament to review the 2014 Budget Law Draft
This article also points to the petrodollar change that has been made.....so with that change the Legal Committee has agreed to look at the Budget too.....start flippin' pages and move forward.
Parliamentary Finance: Government adds 9 trillion dinars from the budget for DFA
This article is interesting and one small piece of it has caught my eye and I hope I can get some feedback from NOVA about it.....The Finance Ministry has approved 9 trillion dinar be added to the DFA fund to cover the cost of raising the petrodollar back to $5/barrel......the part that bothers me is that that 9 trillion dinars is said to come from the central treasury.....NOVA is this coming from the CBI???????......I would hope not.....I'm thinking that the GOI has to have a central treasury of it's own that it operates from.....surely that is so.....I also read a thumbs up that the Finance Committee will have the budget read by the Parliament session tomorrow.
Kurdistan Businessmen Union to be founded
Business people interacting with business people.....a great idea.....another way to foster growth within Iraq and specifically with the Kurdistan region.
Kurdistan Parliament's budget will be presented tomorrow if the government has committed five dollars regardless of oil provinces
Family there is quite a bit said in this article but to me there is one really BIG take-away.....the Legal, Finance, Oil, and Energy committees are working overtime to to ensure the budget is ready for the first reading tomorrow....so that the first reading can be accepted....that is all positive language...going in the right direction.....now before I get your hopes up too high....stay grounded.....because this is Iraq and anything is possible.
I will graciously end here....and let you twirl this all around for a bit......
