Oh well, time will tell.
patriciasmith03 MARCH 11, 2015 AT 3:18 AM While I can understand the logic of your posts I do wonder if America, and its people, will accept the change. America’s domestic prices are low because its $ is the reserve currency and because of the petrodollars.
The Americans will be in a state of shock when they have to pay the same prices for their “stuff” which the rest of the world has to pay. While this change may be good for the global financial system the Americans are very violent people and I can only see this change ending badly for that society.
irrelevant111 MARCH 11, 2015 AT 4:24 AM Never put true Americans in a bad light. All cultures seek a balanced approach to life. Politics are the demon, not typical of man.
Suggest you research further as you ****… Best Regards, USAF…
patriciasmith03 MARCH 12, 2015 AT 2:49 AM Sorry to offend USAF. My choice of words was not good. I still think, from all my readings that America is a more violent place than
~GetReal MARCH 12, 2015 AT 2:51 AM Irrelevant1111, First of all, thank you for your service to our country. I agree, politics and, I might add, lack of education are the demons of many country.
I can say in my younger years I probably did the same. Believing what was presented to me by the MSM was truth.
My reality now is to understand that all humans want their basic needs met, to be loved and understood, to provide nourishment to our children and ourselves. It was my own lack of education that led me to believe otherwise. Respectfully, ~Get Real
Daneackerman MARCH 12, 2015 AT 4:17 PM If your referencing the anglo American you should pick up a book called “Lies my teacher told me” because when you get into chapters 5, 6, 7 and on you may begin to realize that most of us Americans today are all immigrants who took this land which would say that anglo’s are violent peoples. To that there is some truth.
But if you refer to the mistake that the true native Americans are violent then I would have to disagree completely. Furthermore, the black peoples of America may have claim to this land way before Columbus ever arrived.
patriciasmith03 MARCH 12, 2015 AT 9:52 PM Well, I have stirred up a hornet’s nest! Yes, Dane the Anglo Saxons have caused great trouble wherever they went. And yes there are some lovely Americans as there are some lovely British people etc etc.
But the world DOES regard America as a violent society which is always willing to export its violence. But let’s get back to my main point which was JC’s article(s) and how in my view it will have a damaging effect on American society which will result in violence in that country.
Daneackerman MARCH 13, 2015 AT 1:10 AM True enough. But lets hope not. So far the majority of folks I speak to about whats transpiring are clueless to it. Sometimes I believe they wont even realize anything happened at all.
