[Papa Bear] I know you folks are filled with questions and frustration. Hang in there and expect the very best
AWN92 Okie's comments are Air Force related. He is basically saying that there is a lot of things happening very fast (MACH 2.2 is over twice the speed of sound). J-4 is JP-4, a type of jet fuel used. He is saying that he does not need a refueling and is down to his last few drops of fuel, which means he is going to have to land soon.
Take this to mean it is very, very, very close and that a lot is happening in these last hours. Once he lands (RV happens) he is not going to need the plane anymore to fly around looking for intel. I hope this helps! [Thanks members, you sent in some VERY "interesting" interpretations!! : ) ]
Jul 27 7:29 AM [BigB] Stitch GM & Happy Friday to all! Now please tell me this is going to be our last weekend looking for the RV.
[Stitch] BigB GM - I am praying it is our last one!! Lol
[Dinara] On HLN I just heard that the Central Banks of the United States and Europe are working on something to stimulate the economy. I wonder what it could be?

[dealdoctor] Dinara Now this mainstream media joins the Bloomberg clip we saw yesterday saying this was the ONLY answer.
[dealdoctor] I saw a video this morning that gave the history of the repeal of Glass-Stegall under Clinton a bill that FDR had put in place to keep commercial and investment banking separate. Time magazine article back then 1999 said this might put the taxpayers at risk if banks failed. Duh!
[dealdoctor] We see so much about the PTB fighting for control of power as pertains to our RV. Now there are voices in London calling for much stricter bank regulations in light of the LIBOR rate fixing. They want Glass-Stegall back. Is it possible that the powerful do not want those controls OR any control?
[dealdoctor] A global reset would certainly put CONTROLS on the international banking industry. Without those controls we will continue to see it all spirial out of CONTROL...
Highhopes. "Like Sands through the hourglass-so pass the Days of our Dinar Lives"...lol
BigB] _We have always had 2 schools of thought in Dinarland. Lop vs non lop, low rate vs high rate, about Iraq vs not just about Iraq, today vs tomorrow, this quarter vs next quarter.
BigB] For what it is worth, I believe we are close and we really need a diversion to bring this thing in. We have a super one this weekend with the opening of the Olympics. And I don't buy that "stuff" about Germany offering to bail out the EU. They will put their own economy in jeapardy.
[dinardr] I JUST WANTED TO ENCOURAGE EVERYONE .. ALL THE INTEL WE NEED NOW IS THAT IT IS DONE .. SO ONE SECOND NOTHING .. AND THEN SUDDENLY !! ALL WE NEED IS THAT ONE SECOND TO CHANGE EVERYTHING... HANG ON
daniandquin] my friends, this is currency we are talking about here. CURRENCY. when the IQD revalues, it will be a global revaluation- currencies do not change value in one country and not else where. Let's all be calm and relax. I'm sure that jonny will explain what he meant the next time he is in chat grin
twisted67] I can vouch that I have talked to Canadian bankers and they will be more than willing
[vivrelereve] daniandquin daniandquin I feel JWG was saying he has not had his own confirmation from canada banks and someone needs to fillhim in
[wango1] Dakotaman It is a misunderstanding than Canada will exchange
M64] Dakotamanwango1 wango1 IMO I believe jonnwg is saying that currently the Canada banks won't that is why he said we wait............. I don't think he meant that they won't after RV, again IMO.
[scott24680] I'm guessing the issue with Canada is the high rates that have been negotiated in US dollars may not be available in Canadian dollars, since the US Dollar will devalue post RV and the Canadian dollar should be pretty stable
[Precious] 7-27-2012 BGG The NEWS has been right where we need – it…headed the perfect direction. The Mandates law being put into Parliament today [Thursday]...that term limits thing is really big news. Mutlag goes back to work next week. Al-Hashemi trial postponed until after NC meeting annoucnement. the reference to an NC meeting this morning. Allawi in Parliament this morning…(he hasn’t been there in months). the whole Government being excused tomorrow EXCEPT Parliament – can you say “COVER-UP”???
Mutlag going back to work for the first time in 8 months. That’s not big – it’s MONUMENTAL. President Obama “inviting them to pass” and oil and gas law today??? there was a lot of good stuff going on – too much to be a coincidence. All the above was out in the news today [Thursday]. Can you say “BIG DAY”???
[Precious] tommyk] Well now that Shabibi got his 3 days needed, , and now we are waiting for the Big EVENT coming Friday evening U.S. time. This makes me wonder if they will close the stock exchange due to this EVENT happening Hmmm?
MRP: Katt Think RKE is about to explain other factors besides GDP in the value of a currency (I hope I got that right. :) )
rke: dietcokeandice a currency always has to be converted to another currency, that is what an exchange rate is, how it's value relates to another currency. there are many factors to consider, and GDP is only one-but it is an important factor
oucrazy: rke . . . so, if our GDP is the strongest and the world economy is tied to the USD (demand), then the problem is our worn out printing presses from printing so much fiat currency??!! Lol
rke: oucrazy that's why every other country has to print more money too, to keep the proper prices for imports and demand for exports
dietcokeandice: rke then why is the VND lower the Iraq Dinar due to the ratings
rke: dietcokeandice the media usually doesn't understand these issues or likes QE because it gives temp boost to markets
ke: dietcokeandice both currencies are currently tied to USD at a set rate, our predicted rate i'm guessing is higher for IQD because expected strength of economy and demand for currency will be stronger
dpa820: rke ,wouldn't proper prices would be tied to what the market would bare, wouldn't??? If I buy a hambuger in northcarolina at Mcdonalds its less than a dollar. In the Virgin Islands , its about 2 or 3 dollars.
rke: dpa820 yes prices are set according to market conditions. mcd's in virgin islands will be higher because cost of production is higher due to necessity for imports among other factors
dietcokeandice: rke well on some site they are stating the QE is a good thing because of the revalue will be force to happen for the good of world economy is this true
dietcokeandice: they are saying they have been waiting for Bereke to do this whatever
rke: dietcokeandice that sounds like opinion, one which i don't share. just because the world needs bailing out doesn't mean that iraq has to revalue their currency. but this is my opinion which others obviously don't share.
rke: dietcokeandice my opinion is that i find it hard to imagine that a country does not control its currency. look at greece and spain if you want to see what happens when a country does not control its currency
dpa820: rke ,historically would currencies from war-torn countries revalue higher due to the circumstances of having to re-develop the country???
rke: dpa820 don't know how to answer that, usually countries aren't rebuilt like this. Germany post ww2 might be a good comparison, but i don't know what their currency was like
averysgrampa: rke i agree with you, i think that the world economy could surely use the dinar to help out but its not up to iraq to fix it
rke: averysgrampa exactly, i need someone to buy me a house, but won't happen just because i need it, or think i need it.
dietcokeandice QE is increasing money supply, this always causes inflation. in fact the only cause of inflation is the increase of money supply. they are doing it because they are scared to death of DEFLATION, which was the massive problem in the Great Depression.
MRP: rke What are you looking at to track where we might be in this investment process, specifically?
rke: i don't know exactly. some news articles seem to indicate later in the year, but it is hard to tell as they are looking at the process of changing monetary policy, money supply and exchange rate all together, while we are only interested in the exchange rate.
rke: MRP i'm not really trying to micro manage or predict an exact date/rate. the news articles do give me an indication of where we are at. but that only tell me we are close. and we all know that.
