I was thinking about something.... Remember when Shabib was in the US back in the spring. He was interviewed by "Bluestar" from Frank's site.
Here is an excerpt:
"John says face to face afterward he spoke alone for a few min and he asked Shabibi what do you believe is the factor if the revaluation and will it occur sooner or later…
would it be the forming of the GOI or something else ??– Shabibi said NO we do not need a GOI – and 5 factors and the chief among them is inflation factor –
Shabibi also said their RE development and their commerce …..which again is tied into inflation
Five Factors Shabibi spoke of:
2.Depreciate currency – potential problem with inflation
4.A weak infrastructure – linked with development
5. Security which is out of his hands

_Frank states by revaluing their currency
1.Sanctions to be complete – no more banana peels and Chapter 7
2.The currency would be of higher value – worth more
3.Jobs added – people working – unemployment will be wiped out
4.People will now be investing in building and all are working with a strong currency
5.Security problems are gone as they won’t need to fight with each other
Inflation is a big driver and John sensed a lot more going on here…."
Several weeks ago we had the US Govt. tell US oil companies to stay out of Iraq until the oil law is complete. Today we see an article stating - Government in Baghdad: 22 U.S. company decides to enter the Iraqi market. LINK
The US troops are almost completely out of Iraq. Based on the current economic conditions security will most assuredly worsen within Iraq. The GOI is now on the hook to improve security, public sentiment, and economic conditions. How can improvement in these 3 areas be accomplished?????? RV.......
When people are employed, their buying power increases and overall infrastructure conditions improve, history teaches us that public sentiment and security conditions will also improve.... People are less likely to blow themselves up when conditions are good.....
Shabibi has said that the Iraqi economy will begin when the troops are gone..... Hang in there gang.... We are on the precipice .....
As for the extra Merry... I am expecting it to be...but can't confirm at this point.... If not...it will be VERY...VERY soon after....
