[iank1978] I'm gonna ask Jester or Grunt what they think about the 50% considering they talk to Zap and find out how O could possibly get away with charging us a 50% tax
asher] I agree with your question, iank1978..50% seems eccessive and totally usuary and unfair.
[greasee5] My take and only imo, the 50% is taken out before we see our return, i.e. for simple numbers 3rd party paying 10.00 USA gets 5.00 therefore rate at c/e will be 5.00 , No additional taxes due on our part, coincidentally I believe the numbers to be higher, again IMO for what it is worth our debt paid
[newburg] Keep in mind Zap ,said the Chinese would pay the 50 %, Zap did not say US taxpayers would pay it, there is a difference.
[greasee5] newburg exactly the scenario I just put forth above, I believe you are correct, IMO
[pbone] All this discussion is what if and moot..NO R V yet
[newburg] . Just a guess but the 50 % is part of an agreement between countries that does not need congrssional approval

[honeybelle] any thoughts on 50% is that what China is paying or us? Ty
citizensoldier: honeybelle "Shadow Boxing"... Wait until the event occurs. ALL will be revealed then.
newburg: citizensoldier I agree the uncertanty of tax consequences has been very unsettling, but maybe Zap is on to something when he states that the chinese will be responsible for the taxes in dinar/oil credit transactions.
COdreamer: maybe China will be taking on some of that rate.
RoseRedTyler: Maybe this is what Tony is thinking of when he keeps repeating...not all is gold. If O has agreement with WF and they take it up front, might need to consider alternate cash-in.
COdreamer: RoseRedTyler I wonder if that's why Tony gave his suggestion of putting 50% aside for taxes??
sweet pea: Tax is decided by the HOUSE..and do not think that they would ever agree to 50%!!!
COdreamer: sweet pea Especially since most of them probably have dinar!
Basketball12: So they have been working so hard for "us" but yet there going to tax 50%...don't get me wrong I'm very happy to be greeting a blessing but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth to give supposedly 50% back
For Mnt. Goat: The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost Posted by Chitown at TNT
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Family, I have a poem tonight that is not mine but is very special to me, it was something that my Mom sent to me just days before she passed away, I hope you will join me in reading it. I want you to know that prayers are answered, never give up on them, and always remember there is great strength in prayer.
Footprints in the Sand
One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there was one only.
This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering from anguish,
sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints,
so I said to the Lord,
“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life
there has only been one set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”
The Lord replied,
“The years when you have seen only one set of footprints,
my child, is when I carried you.”
