Zigmeister: I was under the understanding irregardless of the fact they keep postponing the tariff law, they had all of their ducks in a row as far as stations. They were and are charging at these stops. Perhaps they see this as 5% donations.
There was a sentence in this article I found interesting however which has nothing to do with tariffs, but oddly lifting of zero's. Committee member described Nahida Daini claimants not to implement the customs tariff law, "the beneficiaries of the neighboring countries," to make Iraq a market for import of shoddy goods. LINK
Calling for the lifting of customs tariff to be 20% instead of 5% being a very small percentage. Here lifting does not mean deleting but raising the price of the tariffs from 5% to 20%. Interesting don't you think?
Butifldrm: "Liberated Iraq calls on Arab states to use oil as 'weapon' against U.S." My thought's on this article are that 1. Iraq is not liberated and needs to mind it's P's and Q's, until they are.
2. There will probably be another article coming out form Talibani again telling the diplomats, ministers and parliament to keep their mouth's shut.
3. This behavior probably stems from Arab anger and the fact that the Egyptian PM Morsi voiced his opinion that Egypt will stand by the Palestinians. and
4. I guess the Iraqis haven't a clue how much oil the US has and if they want us to remain their customer and subsequently bring them out of Chapter VII, they need to check the IQ of the diplomats speaking for their country.
