Doc: We are...well aware of all the positive articles on chapter 7 and HCl and 2013 budget and..etc. We would suggest to all to look at the history of the GOI delivering on what and when it says it will do something. Unfortunately they have little creditability along these lines.
Do not misunderstand our comments here, we are encouraged that these things are in the forefront but we do not concur with the optimistic timelines as reported by others. Yes, we concur that if the GOI would enact these things the journey would be quickly over but we believe the snails place will continue for a while with the end of this year now a distant hope.
Joey: Article quotes: "Implementation without delay'', "The 1st day of the next month." All they have to do is implement the Custom Tariffs Act and they will become members of the WTO. And what does this do? It shuts down the borders to Iran (Hmmmm, sounds like Dec. 1st to me?).

Mike: "Central Bank Investigations Reveal "Levy" Parties Monthly Gains!!" As you can see, the corruption is tied to a lot of people...many hands are in the pot and many of these hands lead back to Maliki’s party…ambassadors and politicians have been put in these positions and you can understand why Nijaifi does not want to have these names out there because it affects a lot of people…
The Central Bank was doing what they were doing, and the people on the outside were causing most of the problems of what was going on… So really keep your eye on this… This is really going to get a lot of people into Maliki’s party and it’s really going to get into his chances for re-election...Things are moving along…Things are moving good… I’m likin’ it so far.
Mike: "Iraqi coalition MP said free high Nassif to the challenges experienced by Iraq and not permit any politician think withdrawing confidence in the Government, arguing that the charges of the Kurdistan Regional President Massoud Barzani in crises the country source together with the Iraqi list led by Iyad Allawi."
This article failed to mention Sadr and his groups statements last week advising that the enviroment was good to remove Maliki through a no confidence vote. It's encouraging to see that the NA is taking this threat seriously, I can only hope that Talabani will back them this time around and force Maliki's hand.
I still believe that the quickest way to the RV is to have Maliki capitulate, give Allawi his postion, implement Erbil and wrap up 140. If he doesn't do this then we are in for a wait due to the process of no confidence and waiting for his replacement.
I'm concerned that Iraq will edge closer to civil war because of sectarian issues and I'm sure that Maliki will fan the flames of discord in some last ditch effort to retain power. Here's hoping.
Adam Montana: Last month alone there were FIVE major meetings, where MAJOR headway was made on drafting the new HCL law. That is MAJOR progress but there is still some work to be done, and I am sad to say that I can't give you an exact date it will be done.
But I am happy to say that I am confident it is going forward and I also feel confident that the Hamas situation will be settled down by then, which means that the situation in Hamas should not be a major factor on our investment.
There is no resolution on the Shabibi situation, but most everyone agrees that we are better off with him out of the way, at least temporarily.
Chapter 7 is a "rubber stamp" away from being completely lifted.
Maliki is still holding the reins, and it sure looks like he has his sights set on improving the
situation, which could easily translate to gains for Dinar Speculators.
All in all - good news all around, if you ask me!
