8ball said. Maliki maybe stonewalling again..... leaving them no alternative to pull down the Maliki government due to lack of effort... the twist on this is that they are only asking for Maliki to be replaced so they may have Shiites within Maliki's party saying...... its not us..... and Maliki is acting alone..... STAY TUNED................ Kuwait is coming to sign all agreements and Iraq must be organized would be my guess.....
SWFloridaGuy: Ban Ki Moon is making a trip to Baghdad tomorrow and claims that one of several items on the agenda is to remove Iraq from Chapter VII. If true, this is excellent news for the dinar community. The UN Secretary-General, who is meeting with President Talabani and Prime Minister Maliki will also hold a joint meeting at the Conference Palace with the Parliament Speaker, heads of blocs and parliamentary committees.
Ban Ki Moon said that "Iraq wants to get out of the provisions of Chapter VII of the UN Charter, but I strongly encourage the Iraqi Prime Minister to speed up the closure of many important files in the fastest time possible." I'd have to agree with the Moon on that one. The US Secretary of Defense also met with Maliki to abetment a solution to the Baghdad/Erbil political crisis.
12-5-12 Hame55: 25 billion dinars in circulation (their numbers) would mean, at a $3 rate, $75 billion dollars worth of dinar in Iraq (excluding foreign)/ That's not enough to run their country. Their gov't budget is bigger - not to mention private citizens.
