12-28-13 Deborah: About 10:30 this morning, my friend called to tell me that his friend who watches Iraqi TV told him it looked to her as though Turki had publicly resigned. She doesn't speak Arabic, so couldn't say for sure but that was the impression she got by watching. Hours later we get all these articles denying it, so IMO that probably means she was right
2-28-13 Arthur: Article quote: "Biden expressed his deep commitment of the United States and Permanent toward the United States partnership with Iraq under the Strategic Framework Agreement signed between them,
“IN LIGHT OF EVERYTHING ELSE WE HAVE SEEN IN THE LAST FEW DAYS, THAT THE UNITED STATES IS RENEWING THESE COMMITMENTS SIGNED IN 2009 AT THIS TIME IS INTERESTING AND NOTEWORTHY. ...

Just a look at some of the Forex pricing as of 2:25 cst. IQD is the same as we figure but what is up with the VND going down in value. I know the USD rose but maybe they are dropping it before the RV, I don't know.
Also look at the precious metals. People are selling off and investing in the stocks, which accounts for the rise of the Dow and S&P. If what we heard in the past about the metals dropping is an indicator, all we need to know is at what point do they want it? Just some pondering information.
2-28-13 Mountainman: Finally some positive news about the HCL. It looks sometime between now and the next few months it will be resolved. It's directly connected to the passing of the budget and should follow shortly after. Everything is falling into place. Most likely in the order of Budget, HCL, RV/RI/Float, Chapter VII then WTO.
"Oil and gas law will pass before the middle of this year. A member of the Committee on Energy and Oil parliamentary Furat al-Shara “The oil and gas law will pass before the middle of this year.”
"The approval of the federal budget of the state during the next few undoubtedly will usher in approving important projects, including oil and gas law,” noting that “out of the crisis the federal budget and Ashkalyatea will establish out of the crisis of the oil and gas.”
“It’s after the completion of the necessary budget will be the political blocs during the next few months serious and clear to approve oil and gas law, which establishes a common understanding and transparent between the central government and Iraqi Kurdistan and to the nature of the relationship between investment companies and local companies.
Our exit from the crisis that we live in Salim will be key to get out of other crises." http://alrayy.com/75418.htm
2-28-13 Sherlock: We've been talking about what Iraq can become for years. Question is what are they now. What are they NOW. That's the question. They are a country that has came a long way from 2002 pulling down saddams statues and so on. These people are sharp dont underestate them.
Of course they're going to pump oil. What are they up to right now? I can say this, they're up to something. What that is, is for them to know and for us to find out.
Dig a little deeper lets find the real reason they want to keep there currency at such a low value. OR do they want to run with the big dogs. The US, EUROPE, you know the countries that play by the rules.
Although the rules are created by them which is oh so convienent. Is that what they want? Play with the big dogs or do they want to stay on the porch. With let's say Iran, Pakistan and a few others. It's up to them.
It's just when do they want to start playing with the big boys. We've been teaching them. Schooling them showing them helping them feeding them clothing them so what's in it for us. The US.
Well that's yet to be seen so I say come on Iraq put your dancing shoes on and lets dance. Not in the high school gym. Out on the worlds stage where all the hot lights are shining down on you. Come out of the darkness and into the light don't be scared.
What's the worst that can happen. You FAIL really. Look at us here in the US. Like we've never failed please. That's cost of admission. That's the chance you take you can't win or lose until your in the game.
And right now Iraq is still on the bench. Waiting to get a chance to play. I say batter up come on batter batter batter come on batter batter batter SWING. Right now there in the on deck circle. They've got a big bat in their hand all they need to do is step up to the plate and connect. JMO
2-28-13 OutOfTheWoods: If they're going to outlaw the sale of foreign currency (within most major banks) and the smart card allows international access, this would cause me to think more people would be reliant on the value of the dinar to pay for goods and services outside of Iraq (for Iraqi's of course), and considering the present value, they wouldn't be getting much...unless..
These smart cards will likely start in Iraq and make their way here to the U.S and Europe in the near future. Watch for them. Iraq is setting the stage for a new financial system being put in place.
This card is set to have the most sophisticated security and usage in the global financial system. Also if they want to use the dinar outside of Iraq 1166 just isn’t gonna cut it International is key, come on Iraq show us what you got. Stryker Blog - Comment
2-28-13 TrinityeXchange: I've always stated that this IS the hinge pin of our investment. I love it when we continue to confirm our commitment to the strategic framework agreement.
