Sources inside State of Law PM nomination meeting claim Haydar al-Abbadi has greatest chance of succeeding Maliki http://alliraqnews.com/index.php/2011-04-18-02-57-37/142702-2014-08-10-20-05-34.html …
Rileysetter: It is difficult for me to believe any news coming out of Iraq at the moment. The exception being the news of a lot of innocent people are being murdered eveyday in Iraq while these **** clowns bicker and haggle in Baghdad.
Tlar: SOL article. I am not buying it based on the fact the coalition/NA said they will ignore working with the SOL. Both factions, the SOL and the rest of the NA are now separately going to approach parliament with their own nominee.
Masum will pick the NA over the SOL. The SOL is only now potentially 25 guys out of a total of 178 and will NOT be allowed to dictate who the PM will be. The coalition better come forward quickly with their nominee. tlar.

BAGHDAD / obelisk: The capital, Baghdad, on Sunday, widespread heavy security against the backdrop of a telegram from the Office of the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, and has been strengthened with the checkpoints, the capital was free from citizens, especially near commercial centers, despite the weather improved grades.
TLAR: riley, your right. Its insane for them to still have not announced a PM this late in the game.
The most encouraging article is the one saying the coalition has finally decided to quit negotiating with the thieves and murderers (Maliki and the leadership of the SOL) and will decide who will be the nominee while ignoring Maliki and his party altogether.
They should have done this 2 weeks ago. Instead they have continued to try to work it out up until the final hour. You cannot negotiate with thieves and liars because they will say anything like "I did not agree to that, or later its a forgery and we are not honoring that etc., etc."
The leadership of the SOL has but one mission, maintain power and immunity.
