Tlar: Hakim is truly a master negotiator and politician. Here he is trying to patch the rift in the NA by reaching out to Maliki and the SOL. In his first meeting with Maliki he was able to stop Maliki from charging and arresting Chalabi on phony terrorism charges. This is his second meeting with Maliki.
Hakim leads the troops that hold banners saying "NO MORE MALIKI" and yet we see him go to Maliki's home attempting to get agreement on a strong union of member blocks of the NA including the SOL.
If he can pull this off he is a unique kind of politician. He is attempting to mend fences before this thing comes to a head and is trying to get the NA prepared for June 14th so they can walk into parliament hand in hand while Maliki knows he can't win.
It makes me think that it is possible that some kind of a deal is in the works we will not be privy to that will allow Maliki to step down gracefully. This might include some form of amnesty.
Either way this meeting just like their first meeting seems to have bore fruit for both parties and is a masterful move to reduce the tension. tlar

A member of the Coalition MP Fouad Alldorki for "tomorrow's Press," said that "the talks are still going on between some of the political blocs to achieve a parliamentary majority to form the next government," explaining that "some of the blocks from within the National Alliance, which has custody of the third term but wants the position that some of the gains in the next government. "

The MP for the coalition of state law on Alfalh, on the 29th of May current, that the number of parliamentary seats of the coalition in the House of Representatives-elect arrived at the 136-seat, stressing the accession of his deputies, Sunni and Kurdish blocs.
It is said that Sistani's representative in Karbala, a student, on Friday, involving all components of the Iraqi people, the process of government formation and consulted opinion,
while stressing the need for the adoption of competence and experience in the selection of officials and ministers without focusing on the loyalties and affiliations, called to resolve a dispute province and the center reference to the Constitution or Federal Court or back to the House of Representatives in case the dispute was about the Federal Court and its decisions
Tlar: I call BS on this. Again I think the SOL is posturing/lying in an attempt to make it sound as if the SOL is gaining ground in hopes that one large block will leave the coalition and join in in order to get the cushy Ministries before they are gone.
The SOL basically is implying "if you want to get a good ministry position you better jump on now before its too late. Those that don't will be excluded and left on the sidelines."
It is a subtle bribe to bust the coalition. We know Maliki has already lied when he said he got the PUK on his side and again when he said the one man block was firmly on board.
