JD Blue: Kurds on board
Kurdistan authorizes Abadi choose his cabinet within the new selection
Political Since 03/09/2016 13:33 pm (Baghdad time) Special - balances News It confirmed the Kurdistan Democratic Alliance bloc, Wednesday, that the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi is a comprehensive determines the type of change or in part, and ministers chosen by him as well.
The Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi had met Sunday with leaders of the National Alliance in the province of Karbala and night with the Kurdistan Alliance in Baghdad.
JD Blue: I have crossed fingers. 2 days from now.. Friday is the day Demonstrations happen. Sadr is watching.
tlar: Gee, who would have thought they would get this done by Friday? Hmm. Tlar
mike: Everybody is squeezing Abadi right now, Sadr, Hakim and the SoL. If he doesn't act soon, they're going to put the governments failure squarely on his shoulders. I don't know how he's going to get this list in front of Parliament for a vote very quickly, nothing happens fast in Iraq.
Tlar: On the hundred thousand note not being necessary to introduce. These 2 notes, the 50 and 100 thousand notes are intended to be transitional notes as the CBI has told us with the specific purpose of collecting the other 3 zero notes.
By introducing the 50,000 through patrol they were either able to get what they wanted quicker than they had thought finding it unnecessary to introduce the 100,000, or they ran out of the 50,000's which means that they achieved their goal and no longer need the hundred.
Again payroll was the key in this cash society. One third of the population is on the payroll. So every time a payroll has been paid, they were introducing the 50,000 which meant they were not letting the other 3 zero notes out. Or at least diminishing them greatly because only bills let back out were to supplement the 50,000.
A guy making 125,000 a payroll would receive 2 50,000's as part of his pay with the rest in smaller denominations where as before he would receive the other three zero notes.
The program obviously was a success because in the last payroll we heard complaints of people receiving nothing but tattered bills in small denominations which means they were not getting the 50,000 notes either because the CBI had achieved their goal or they had simply exhausted their supply.
Either way is good. The hundred was the backup if the other e zero notes were not coming in fast enough. Eater I said I would love to see this note released because to me it would say that they needed to excelled ate the collection of the 3 zero notes which means that there is a date at which this part of the process must be finished.
Hope this is helpful to everyone. I wrote this on my phone and the only thing visible is one line as I am writing it. Twice I was interrupted so I hope I did not repeat myself. Tlar
Tlar: I just read my post. What I was also meaning to say is every parole since this bill has been introduced meant that most of the dinars going out of the CBI included the 50,000. They were washing the money quickly. Great plan to use payroll to swap out money in a cash society.
KJWayne: And with that many government employees getting paid with the $50,000 note , WE know the 3 zero notes were coming off the streets very fast and in big amounts ! That's Good !
Preacher Man: 3 zeros, coming off that 50,000 , maybe why they pulled them, 50s, Hum, they got mine
Flyboy: Come on Mike...have a little FAITH...! lol
Mike: Lol, hey, I'm still in it flyboy. I just don't like the tone, protesters tearing up the green zone isn't good for us. I honestly think this is a political move by Sadr to get back to relevance. The Shia are turning on one another and I'm concerned Abadi's going to be left holding the bag on a corrupt, dysfunctional government. Iraq's problems aren't his fault, but he is the PM.
Schízz: What green light is abadi waiting for? is it from the same guy that changes his nappy every morning? Seriously though, sure hope he can pull this off by weekend, that would be sooo awesome!!!
Rainmaker: Good stuff TLAR is it my understanding that the 50k notes are not adding to the money supply because when they revalue the 50k's will be swapped for the new 50s?
Mike: I sure hope not, rainmaker
Mike: This is going to be the fly in Abadi's ointment regarding his new cabinet. The Kurd's are ok with the change in the cabinet, as long as they get a seat at the table. Abadi's been trying to get away from the quota system but in order to do that, he's going to need Parliament's vote to make the changes.
Unless everyone gets a seat at the table, Parliament's not going to support the changes. Hopefully Abadi can find intelligent, knowledgeable technocrats from all three major sects and put this new government together with Parliament's support.
Kurdistan Alliance: Our share in the new cabinet ministers cabin three or more
He favored the Kurdistan Alliance, that includes its stake in the new cabinet ministers cabin three or more, stressing that some of the political blocs to support the popular pressure to pressure the government to get some interest. LINK
