imak :My mom had a gag order when I was a kid. If you tell a lie then I will gag you. If we told a lie she would wash our mouth out with soap and that would gag the crap out of you. I only told a couple of lies as I couldn't take any more of her gag order.
phoenixx An NDA exists from the moment it is signed. But a WISE and SMART person realizes that if their family or friends blab after the NDA is signed and the authorities start chasing you, then how are you going to prove you blabbed before the NDA and not after. I have been keeping my trap shut tight for weeks now as I do not want loose lips sinking my ship.
Thunderheart : Let's see if this is stupid. Sign NDA, exchange currency, place money in bank account. keep some in cash, keep mouth shut, go to dinner and celebrate, go home and got to bed and then get up and take care of bills. Keep breathing. I think I got it.
China's banks to offer certificates of deposit this week: sources
6 hours ago
BEIJING (Reuters) - China's biggest banks will launch the sale of negotiable certificates of deposit this week, eight sources with knowledge of the situation said, in a decisive move to free up the country's interest rates market.
Banks that include China's five biggest lenders will be allowed to issue up to 5 billion yuan ($823.41 million) worth of certificates of deposit each, the sources said.
This would be a quick follow-up to China's newly released rules for the budding NCDs market. The People's Bank of China had published guidelines for the NCDs market just on Sunday, listing among rules that certificates of deposit cannot be less than 50 million yuan per issuance.
"The central bank had a meeting about NCDs this afternoon. Issuance of the NCDs is imminent," one of the sources said.
A spokesperson for the central bank declined to comment when contacted.
Banks that will get the green light to issue NCDs include the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Ltd, Bank Of China Ltd, China Construction Bank, Agricultural Bank of China and the Bank of Communications.
Most of the NCDs will have maturities of three months with fixed interest rates that use SHIBOR as a reference rate, the sources said. But the final NCDs rates may be revised upon request by regulators.
Capital raised by NCDs will be regarded as a form of interbank financing and will not be used in the calculation of loan-to-deposit ratios and reserve requirement ratios, the sources.

COULD TONUGHT BE CHRISTMAS EVE FOR DINARLAND?
[calidinarhope] If what Tony & Okie said is true about people in high position already getting paid, and if this keeps on dragging out for us normal folks, I can see a class-action lawsuit being filed ... and if so, hell [nolaspice] does anyone have proof of anyone cashing out
[terrib] calidinarhope they have an agenda IMO
[calidinarhope] terrib yeah I'm sure ... but whatever their agenda is, they are going to pay for it if this drags on ...
[nolaspice] if they do - i want to see it
[calidinarhope] nolaspice that's my big question
[Grandpafor3] calidinarhope REALLY??? A class-actionn suit against WHOM? We will never know precisley who or what is in control. Also, implied threats (again class-action law suit) does nothing more than stiffen the resolve of anyone or any group who may be resistant to letting this RV go. Just mho
[nolaspice] here is the deal for the 100th time - the NDA was actually requested by the persons that negotiated the group deal for us
[nolaspice] omg i am gonna scream over the NDA crap
[terrib] nolaspice lol
[calidinarhope] Grandpafor3 Well, the attorneys would name everyone possible and get to the bottom of it ... UST, IMF, etc ... but once again that's assuming that some were actually paid ... if no one has been paid then there is no lawsuit ... but if some were already paid and we are put on hold for much longer
[calidinarhope]... also who is the gag order against? How can you file an injunction without naming defendants? If defendants are named, then how can it be just private with the Attorney general ... it doesn't make sense legally ...
[jjmyles] n. a judge's order prohibiting the attorneys and the parties to a pending lawsuit or criminal prosecution from talking to the media or the public about the case. The supposed intent is to prevent prejudice due to pre-trial publicity which would influence potential jurors.
[jjmyles] A gag order has the secondary purpose of preventing the lawyers from trying the case in the press and on television, and thus creating a public mood (which could get ugly) in favor of one party or the other.
[jjmyles] Based on the "freedom of the press" provision of the First Amendment, the court cannot constitutionally restrict the media from printing or broadcasting information about the case, so the only way is to put a gag on the participants under the court's control.
