chattels: If the investment requires electrical service then what reliable service can be provided to the investor ?
chattels: My point is that infrastructure in Iraq is not going to change overnight.
chattels: If you read the history there was equal anticipation of investment with the passage of the original law in 2006.
chattels: Iraq has been " begging " for investments ever since.
chattels: If Iraq could not attract investment before DAESH and when growth was projected at 9 - 12 % then how / why now ?
chattels: When some say that the Iraqi economy is " dead " or on the verge of the financial abyss / bankruptcy ?
chattels: FOREIGN INVESTMENT IN IRAQ In 2006 the Iraqi Government passed Investment Law No 13 which laid out the foundation for attracting foreign investment. chattels: www.webuildiraq.org/busin...

chattels: " A national investment law—on the books since 2006—which would protect foreign and domestic investors remains unevenly enforced. "
chattels: " Today, in most cases, foreign investors have been granted the same rights as national investors vis-à-vis their investments. Iraq’s new Investment Law, approved in 2006, guarantees a climate where foreign investment is facilitated." tbiraq.com/doing-business...
