MzDiva: Stash i hope you not waitin on the RV

chattels: Baghdad (AIN) -Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said on Thursday that "the reforms will not stop and must include all aspects of the state and society, and we cannot allow political quotas to turn into an obsession, and this is at the heart of what we do as reforms." chattels: en.alliraqnews.com/module...
chattels: The eradication of quotas is an easy position for the majority to take because quotas typically protect the minority.
chattels: Abadi, a Shia, is a member of the majority. The reduction in representation of minorities as quota avoidance and / reform makes both the Sunni and the Kurds rather nervous.
chattels: XXX & XXX- [anything on parliament today?] House of Representatives completed the second reading of the law of money laundering. that is a big move forward. 1 more reading and a vote…then enforce it.
chattels: If the pundits really knew anything about Parliamentary process then they would know that there are two readings and a vote shown on the Parliament's website
chattels: there is no third reading before a vote on any bill / legislation in the Iraqi Parliament
chattels: of course when they are wrong, which is often, the rationalization is that it is all semantics and procedure with no substance
MzDiva: ‹@chattels› so do you think they are any closer to raising the value on the dinar
chattels: ‹@MzDiva› If it is going to happen at anytime in the future then we have to be closer than we were yesterday, eh ?
MzDiva: ‹@chattels› hey thats good enough for me i mean it is Iraq but the progress is grrrrrreat
chattels: Although Abadi seems to have the upper hand over Soleimani at this point, that does not mean that the Prime Minister is facing an easy battle. Deputy Justice Minister Abdul Karim al-Faris was kidnapped in Baghdad by gunmen in SUVs, just a week after 18 Turkish workers were also kidnapped.
While it is still unknown who is responsible, fingers are being pointed at Shi’a militias, who play a major role in providing security in the city.
However, this leading role has led to accusations of abuse of power and human rights abuses. Despite recent victories against Qassem Soleimani and Iranian allies in Iraq, the Prime Minister is facing off with a man who is still immensely powerful, backed by tens of thousands of militiamen, not to mention the Iranian government itself. chattels: www.businessinsider.com/i...

Sam: fox news is saying that 50 intel officers are sayingthat isis reports are being altered
BB824: war sells news, but yet SOME PEOPLE buy into all the doom and gloom articles about isis and dashe in iraq
BB824: and people who have been there or know people there or have been there recently state also the news doesnt match when it come to isis and dashe power like the news states
chattels: the american intel was inappropriately altered to sound better - the opposite of " doom and gloom "
chattels: ‹@BB824› Have your people been to Ramadi, Fallujah or Mosul ?
chattels: I doubt it or they may have been kidnapped or decapitated
chattels: Anyway, I will stick to the news ink until demonstrated otherwise - call me naive or worse, but
chattels: Baghdad (AIN) -Iraq has condemned Turkey for dispatching special forces into its soil in reported pursuit of Kurdish militants, calling it a "clear violation" of its territory.
The Iraqi "foreign ministry expresses its condemnation of the incursion of a number of Turkish military units inside Iraqi territory," spokesman Ahmed Jamal said in a statement on Thursday. "It represents a clear violation of Iraqi sovereignty and a clear offense to bilateral relations between the two countries," he said. chattels: en.alliraqnews.com/module...
chattels: " expresses its condemnation ", ohhhhhhhhhhh, that is scary, but it is only the Kurds being killed,
chattels: the GOI is a joke

chattels: Reidar Visser @reidarvisser 12h12 hours ago #Iraq: PM Abadi arrived at parliament for hearing today, then decided to skip it for unspecified emergency reasons www.alsumaria.tv/news/145...LINK
chattels: We shall see what the reason was / is
chattels: ‹@Oneness› thanks for posting
Oneness: @chattels ... does sound like Abadi is under a lot of pressure/strain
Oneness: sounds like he wants the(his) government to work ... and, yet ... no real cooperation from anyone
chattels: ‹@Oneness› sometimes it is hard to know what is " yellow journalism " and the real situation
chattels: Abadi's party is critical of al Joburi
Oneness: i don't fully understand that whole doah quatar situation .... i think people were upset that isis representation was there
chattels: How much of your article is Abadi or the National Alliance ?
Oneness: and the level of respect accord to protocol and position
chattels: ‹@Oneness› I doubt that we have the full picture just yet
BB824: I doubt that we have the full picture just yet, .......but yet buy into all the news states...
Oneness: gotta run ... be back late tonight ... nice to have a place to chat/read/study in ... shalom
chattels: ‹@BB824› I simply report the news, you are the one making the conclusions
BB824: wow never knew i came to a conclusion, , what was the conclusion i made
chattels: ‹@BB824› " sometimes it is hard to know what is " yellow journalism " and the real situation "
chattels: ‹@BB824› that the news about DAESH is inaccurate
chattels: ‹@BB824› Based upon your unidentified contacts who have traveled where in Iraq ?
BB824: well it seems many who have been all over the country and reporting back in the last 90/120 days are stating what the news states is much different then what they are seeing
chattels: ‹@BB824› Have they been to Ramadi, Fallujah, Baji and or Mosul ?
chattels: If so then with whom ?
BB824: actually yes and even more then that for
BB824: well your entitled, but many OUTSIDE of the dinar world, blobgs and chat rooms of industrials, oil, gas, shipping are saying a lot different
chattels: ‹@BB824› you are entitled to believe them if you want
BB824: i prefer to read more into people working and transporting back and forth to and from iraq then over news
BB824: mostly when it comes to war, problems, bad news
chattels: . Institute for United Conflict Analysts
chattels: IUCA @IUCAnalysts Sep 9 #Map #Syria, static High-Res map of control in Syria. www.mediafire.com/convkey... …
chattels: I hope that they are wrong and there is a substantial increase in the dinar tomorrow - i have a lot of it - I will be very wealthy, but I am not writing any checks today or tomorrow in expectation of such
[07:40:41 PM] Donnie: ‹@BB824› can you invite any of these people you know that travel all over Iraq to come in this chat room for a civilized discussion?
BB824: ‹@Donnie› i read other blogs and in 2 other chat rooms, outside of dinar, it industrial wise
Donnie: ‹@BB824› so is that a no?
BB824: IFOU chat room is one
BB824: there are also 2 BP ones
BB824: INOC is another
BB824: there is also a BIS one thats only in the mornings till noon
chattels: ‹@BB824› So, DAESH does not control nearly 1/3 of Iraq , inclusive of Ramadi, Fallujah, Baiji and Mosul ?
chattels: ‹@BB824› Was the Assistant Minister of Justice not kidnapped in Baghdad yesterday ?
BB824: ‹@chattels› i know your all into the control of daesh over 1/3 of iraq, and from the news we see , thats hwat you take, well sorry so many other outside of dinar world chat, say so much diffrent
BB824: so your entitled
chattels: ‹@BB824› Give me a source and a link then ?
chattels: ‹@BB824› How would I look them up ?
chattels: " IFOU chat room, 2 BP ones, INOC is another, a BIS one " ????????????
chattels: give me a link and if i owe you an apology then you will get one
Tootsie: ‹@chattels› I tend to agree w/you comments. I do not believe it is not dangerous yonder, not at all. I do think there may be a few select areas that are safer, but overall, hmmn, not many.
Tootsie: One of the members here has several acquaintances that have relatives over in the area. =
[08:15:39 PM] chattels: ‹@Tootsie› I spend too much time in being informed, informing, transparent and accountable to simply ignore challenges or opinions from casual " drop ins " with no basis for their positions
Tootsie: I have the philosophy of "being mindful of what is put out on site' Respect that there are many different religions, non-religions, different backgrounds and heritages, rich, medium, and poor, black, white, red, orange whatever - and so on. different politics, non-politics. IF one can't be thoughtful of others around, then, well :alien:
Tootsie: not that respectful discourse is not ok, we learn much that way.
Tootsie: OK, ALERT !!! My neighbor, Mike, policeman/detective - who is on disability now due to injuries. Well, he popped over, aghast. This is a NOTE, to all -
whitelions: The others unless we know what the inishels stand for theyre worthless
Tootsie: He made error on last years taxes, and owed an additional amount, which he sent in a couple weeks ago. So, he comes over, He received a call from IRS, stating he was behind, 2,250 in payments and they were suiing. Of course he was jolted as thought, man ~
Tootsie: The convo continued - the guy connected him with a woman, who said, they can't take payments. Anyway, the discourse continued, they could take a debit card payment, but no check, wires, or such. However, put me on speaker phone and go to Wal Mart and get a moneygram (well of course, by now he knew was a scammer, but wanted to find out how far they would go) = I will stop there. My warning is that this is a computer generated ROBO call
Tootsie: Now, for all sick of such calls, go to the website NOMOROBO
Tootsie: Stop robocalls and telemarketers with Nomorobo www.nomorobo.com/ - You can sign up for this free, house phone, or cell, The phone will ring once and it is directed elsewhere = I have been on for over a year
Tootsie: by the way, they spoke perfect English and had unspecting names.
BB824: The Iraq National Oil Company (INOC)
whitelions: thanks I'll try that
Donnie: ‹@Tootsie› Sorry! None of your carriers currently support Nomorobo. Unfortunately, Verizon Wireless does not support Nomorobo yet. Please call the customer service numbers below and ask that they add Nomorobo to their service. The more people that call them, the better. Verizon Wireless Customer Service - 1-800-922-0204 FREE
Tootsie: ‹@MichelleL› stops computer generated calls - Look at history my tale of next door and the IRS scammers trying to get 2250 from him. - it rings once and is redirected ,
whitelions: Well that was another dead end
chattels: Except for Baiji, the largest oil refinery in Iraq, which the ISF has been unable to retake completely, oil wells in Anbar and several attacks upon the Kurdish pipeline to Ceylan, Turkey, oil facilities in Iraq have been secure and safe from attack. Of course 80 % of them are in Basra, far from the influence of DAESH.
Tootsie: ‹@MichelleL› cop next door, he fell for the first part of the IRS issue, but played along to see how they would drag out
MichelleL: hi whitelions :) meant to tell you earlier, use "ghostery" - its free and works wonders
chattels: Most of the other facilities are within the KRG, again relatively secure from DAESH
MichelleL: ghostery is a good cookie/pop up blocker, free whitelions
MichelleL: you just need to disable if you NEED a popup on some sites, like paying your verizon bill, then you turn it back on
chattels: MY point is that oil people traveling to the oil producing areas of Iraq likely are unaware of the extent of DAESH or exposed to violence by DAESH
MichelleL: my friend is selling out her d's - its the end of an era...
MichelleL: really Tootsie? what happened?
vtech: i have not has a bank account for 3 years now, pay all my bills online from a credit card or go to walmart and pay it
Tootsie: People have chips, but there are so far and few between readers that , shoot, whatever. Wallyworld here has chip reader, but scan also
MichelleL: vtech, congrats, you're off the grid but we can't all do it as easily, especially those of us who are old and feeeeble lol
Tootsie: some guy was complaing he had chip card, but someone accessed his info. DUH , if you scan it you are open to all info, chip scrambles
MichelleL: Tootsie? I use an rfid wallet
Donnie: ‹@Tootsie› first time i used chip was Walmart the other day
MichelleL: what is chip?
Tootsie: ‹@MichelleL› great
Tootsie: ‹@Donnie› cool process huh
BOBBY: Tootsie...... did you read that report about wally world and home security?
MichelleL: same as the rfid i see
Donnie: ‹@Tootsie› different anyways
MichelleL: tootsie, in marshalls, you can find whole purses in the travel dept made out of the rfid material
whitelions: I can't wait till there all chip cards
MichelleL: uh oh, you're scaring me now - how are you Bobby?
Donnie: ‹@MichelleL› u have to slick ur credit card in the front slot and leave it there until the transaction is done. then pull-out and ur done.
Tootsie: ‹@MichelleL› it is an area on debit/or credit card that has been used in Europe for several years. It scrambles the info into a one time use only data item, to avoid personal data being retrieved
MichelleL: i like that tootsie, when will they be prevalent and will it also include our driver's licenses?
Donnie: to make a RFID reader is very simple so you can walk by someone and read their chip with it all undetected.
Tootsie: ‹@MichelleL› good to know. My purse is so small, nothing in it but car keys/house keys, sunglasses, d/l and cards (in zipper area) and some cash in zipper area.
Donnie: wrap ur credit cards in aluminum foil to protect from being read.
Tootsie: oh, and phone of course
MichelleL: ‹@Tootsie› my passport card is rfid, it comes with its own tyvek sleeve to prevent being read
Tootsie: ‹@MichelleL› I have to renew my passport - so it is a card now???
MichelleL: Tootsie, spring for "both" - i use the passport card for flights domestically
Tootsie: ‹@MichelleL› THANKS! will do
MichelleL: its around 25 bucks extra to get them both, worth it since its for 10 years
Tootsie: like I travel so ** much NOT! hahaha
Tootsie: ‹@MichelleL› shoot, worth it
Comments may be made at the end of Part 2 Thank You
