Post From Wealthwatch.world Chat Room Late Night 7-16-15
BOBBY: question.... was the info on maliki 100 pecent confirmed?
chattels: WASHINGTON DC - US President Barack Obama has ruled out cooperation with Iraq’s government in areas where the Iranian military is present, warning that Iranian-backed militias might commit atrocities in recaptured Sunni areas.
In “what Iran is doing there is a problem, and we can’t cooperate in that area,” Obama said on Wednesday. He explained that, while Washington is cooperating with the Iraqi government on regaining territories lost to the Islamic State group (ISIS), it does not shy away from telling Baghdad that military cooperation with Iran is wrong.
chattels: apparently he does not like his new friends
[07/16/2015 09:42:57 PM] chattels: He stressed that US assistance to Iraq is conditional on having Iraqi security forces under the direct control of the country’s prime minister. “If we don’t have confidence that ultimately Abadi is directing those soldiers, then it’s tough for us to have any kind of direct relationship,” he said.

[07/16/2015 09:43:55 PM] chattels: there are some real issues with the Iraqi government it appears for this administration
[07/16/2015 09:44:31 PM] BOBBY: chattels... evening sir, hope all is well
[07/16/2015 09:45:01 PM] chattels: BAGHDAD — Iraqi policeman Ziad Radi is no stranger to hot weather, but his sun-blasted face is testament that even for seasoned Iraqis, the weather on Thursday was almost too hot to bear. Radi spends eight hours a day patrolling Baghdad's Karradah neighborhood — braving temperatures that on Thursday soared above 51 degrees Celsius (123 Fahrenheit).
Add to the mix Ramadan, the holy month when he and many Muslims go from sunrise to sunset without food or water, and you have a recipe for some serious problems.

] chattels: ‹@BOBBY› not bad, and you ?
BOBBY: chatels. night off from work... loving every minute of it lol
BOBBY: chattel... was the latest about Maliki fact ? Any solid intel to back the claims up?
chattels: ‹@BOBBY› I have not read any confirmation
BOBBY: chattels... does the lack of intel seem odd to you?
chattels: ‹@BOBBY› odd, remarkable, but no conclusions for me
[07/16/2015 09:58:03 PM] chattels: lots of news about Maliki seem to start and ostensibly not go anywhere
BOBBY: chattels.... i have that feeling...
chattels: is it fact / fiction or rumor / gossip ?
zidziljian: ‹@chattels› hi there, hows is your night off so far?
chattels: ‹@zidziljian› got some rest and feeling good
BOBBY: chattels.. just seems to me that there is more to this..
chattels: ‹@zidziljian› how are you ?
chattels: ‹@BOBBY› perhaps your instincts and intuition are correct
zidziljian: ‹@chattels› going good here, just reading. I am not finding much but opinions and rumor about Maliki
BOBBY: seems rather odd about the lack of news about the whole thing.. and lack of response from his minions
BOBBY: the only thing I saw was the same article posted repeatedly
chattels: there have been rumors of Maliki's demise for a long time
chattels: people have made a career in dinar land of killing off Maliki
BOBBY: chattels... how long is Abadi s term as pm?
chattels: ‹@BOBBY› four years if he can maintain the " confidence " of the parliament
whitelions: ‹@BOBBY› 4 years and he can only serve 2 terms
BOBBY: whitelions.. thanks...thought so,wanted to be sure
whitelions: ‹@BOBBY› your very welcome
chattels: I am not sure that there is a term limitation in effect for the Prime Minister
ajay214: ‹@chattels› ah, come on chattels, you know that wannabe golfer has connections lol
chattels: as I recall the Iraqi supreme court invalidated the term limitation law passed by the Parliament which is why Maliki was in contention for the last " elections "
[07/16/2015 10:47:48 PM] chattels: ‹@ajay214› master of self serving declarations of connectedness
chattels: if there are connections they appear to be " bad " connections :)
chattels: ‹@ajay214› I will say that sczin is a believer without any conflict of interest
chattels: a good man
chattels: he and I do not always agree, but there is no disrespect between us
ajay214: I agree. Facts without the flair to push anything is a bit refreshing
chattels: nothing wrong with a little yin and a little yang :)
ajay214: not at all, I rather enjoy it
BOBBY: seems to me that most of the guru s are reaching more then normal
chattels: heck, both he and I may be wrong, but we have no agenda or compensatory scheme supporting our positions
chattels: if we realize a profit from this venture in our lifetime it will be a bit of a miracle
chattels: but I have come to not only believe in miracles, but I depend upon them :)
chattels: watching the Open Championship highlights, " these guys are good " ! :)
BOBBY: I believe 100 percent in the dinar.. just from an economic point of view alone
chattels: ‹@BOBBY› the only real concern that I have is the amount in circulation - I do not think that we can really know how much is out there
ajay214: yes, there is all this talk about where it was under saddam, yet you cannot compare without knowing how much was printed then and how much is there now
ajay214: that is why even a dime and I am out
chattels: you have probably seen the Forbes article from March
chattels: " Retire On The Iraqi Dinar And Vietnamese Dong " www.forbes.com/sites/robe...
BOBBY: chattels... i agree.... i just believe things still need to be done before anything revalues
chattels: and the general paranoia that I have about the " haves " keeping us " have nots " from being " haves "
chattels: hoping for crumbs from the table I am ( a dime as ajay says )
ajay214: I have seen that one. Don't completely agree, but a good read. My nephew is the head of economics at a major university and has done a lot of work with Nobel prize winning economists and laughs when we talk about dinar.
chattels: ‹@ajay214› the article does not say that it cannot happen, but that it is a long shot and not a " good " retirement strategy - one must remember that Forbes is " selling " a different investment approach
BOBBY: funny how people seem to ignor some facts about the dinar
chattels: one good read from it is an analysis of the Kuwait " revalue " that " Poppycock " misrepresents
ajay214: I would not consider what I have as part of a retirement plan. It will only be that if and when it happens. As with anyone holding dinar, all will be refocused and plans will go into action at that time. I continue my normal plan.
chattels: ‹@ajay214› you are a shrewd person, good for you
BOBBY: ajay... smart thinking
ajay214: That article lacks a bit of intelligence as the man calls it a scam in the first part. He is not intelligent enough to know what a scam is. I could sell today and recoup 99% on ebay if I had to. Where was I scammed?
chattels: if the dinar " rv " is one's retirement plan then it is a high risk , all or nothing plan and arguably NOT a good one
ajay214: I would think that would only apply to those who have little other option and had no real retirement plan to begin with.
chattels: ‹@ajay214› arguably true, but this venture could " go south " in a heartbeat and there would likely be no " secondary market " with even brokers
BOBBY: I think alot of the thinking in the community has been guru related
chattels: fortunately i did not get involved due to guru hype - I suffered early on from guru myths, but if I am a victim in the end then I have only myself to blame
ajay214: ‹@chattels› always a possibility, but people are still paying ridiculous prices for that paper with saddam's face on it. Either way, I retire in 7 years (my wife sooner if our plans do continue on the same path) and will be able to enjoy life. Dinar will make it much more fun, but it isn't a must for me as it is for some.
chattels: the great tragedy in this are the many people on a subsistence income who " wagered " on reserves and have nothing to show for it
chattels: ‹@ajay214› excellent, I am happy for you
BOBBY: this whole thing
BOBBY: is much better with a level head
ajay214: it is sad, they were sold on the it's going to rv tomorrow hype. I didn't know much about it at all and was led to it through someone else and decided why not
ajay214: I didn't even try researching it until after I bought. I bought on a recommendation from a very wealthy source. I did buy a little more after getting into a few bad sites, but don't regret it at all.
BOBBY: I remember listening to some of Tony s calls years ago and feeling sorry for some of the callers
chattels: ‹@BOBBY› indeed, give a level ground without peaks and valleys, we will fare better as a tortoise than a hare in this " race ", to paraphrase Aesop
ajay214: great analogy chattels and yes Bobby, my heart has gone out to several people who were in such dire straits and really needed this to happen for them
BOBBY: chattels... there is an old Italian saying.. translated it means for every seat there is an a $$
chattels: the Tortoise said: "Slow but steady progress wins the race." www.eastoftheweb.com/shor...
chattels: ‹@BOBBY› say more if you please, not following exactly
ajay214: I lost a friend of 35 years. People, if you have diabetes, do what you need to do to stay healthy. His death could have been prevented (rather postponed) had he tried a little harder.
BOBBY: chattels... some folks will drive down a dead end street no matter how many signs
chattels: diversity in life is a good thing, in finance and lifestyle, I think
chattels: ‹@BOBBY› indeed
Sassy: Chattels I have done hair for 37 yrs and am going to retire 1 yr from this month come ** or high water lol
ajay214: ‹@Sassy› good for you!
chattels: i have said often about my involvement in this invest ment that I got involved because I was somewhat desparate at the time and if it succeeds it will be because I was lucky, not smart
Sassy: Chattels and thank God my hubby was a union man for 36 yrs
chattels: ‹@Sassy› that is how long I have been practicing law - good for you friend - I am happy for you
Sassy: Chattels RV or not I have a plan lol
chattels: ‹@Sassy› well, I am from the south, where " union " is not a favored word, but I understand
Sassy: The pipefitters have taken good care of me. Thank God
chattels: ‹@Sassy› glad of your company on this journey - you have always been a fair and reasonable person - thank you
Sassy: chattels I understand how ppl feel about unions but in the long run they were good for us
chattels: ‹@Sassy› collective bargaining has a place and has served people well in many instances
NUKEM: chattels: what is your thought on the Forbes article you posted the link for?
chattels: ‹@NUKEM› varied, i commented hereinabove - check the chat history for the last 20 minutes or two hours
zidziljian: Im chatting with a new dinarian now on yahoo. He just now figured out that he may have lost alot of money on reserves
chattels: ‹@NUKEM› or if you have a specific question then i will be happy to try and respond :)
Sassy: Chattels are ya a little excited about the prospect of the tarrifs?
chattels: I am in it 'till the end and hoping for a happy ending
NUKEM: chattels: I am in it to the end also! I don't have another option. I hope the Forbes article is WRONG! I did notice at the end of the article that they want to sell you something :dizzy:
chattels: the article did have an excellent analysis of the Kuwait " RV ", which was of course NOT an " RV " no matter what " **" says
NUKEM: I do wonder about the amount of Dinar being sold (all new bills). Are they printing more all the time and maybe don't have the resources to back it all up?
chattels: ‹@NUKEM› good question without good information to make a good answer. IMO
Sassy: Chattels I was telling someone in here earlier I remember 6 yrs ago about cramer waving dinar and that it was a good investment
NUKEM: chattels: you are so funny! You truly make me laugh!!!!!
chattels: ‹@Sassy› the best live " info " to review from time to time is Shabbibi's press conference in Washington, D.C>
Sassy: ‹@NUKEM› ‹@NUKEM› I have always wondered where all this dinar comes from also
chattels: ‹@NUKEM› if we cannot laugh at ourselves and others then ..........................
Sassy: ‹@chattels› i remember seeing it many times
chattels: the great and abiding question is whether things have changes so much that what Shabbibi envisioned is still probable
Sassy: ‹@chattels› Shabibi always made me believe
chattels: changed *
Sassy: ‹@chattels› Yes so much has changed since then
chattels: " If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,.............................: If you can dream - and not make dreams your master; If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim; If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same; ...........................................Yours is the earth and everything that's in it......." - R. Kipling
chattels: Godspeed the completion of the Iraqi banking sector reform project. God bless us everyone.
NearTheSea: wow chattels
chattels: Fight the good fight, holding onto faith and good conscience.
Sassy: ‹@chattels› so love that
chattels: ‹@NearTheSea› ‹@NearTheSea› ‹@NearTheSea›
NearTheSea: love that i'm impressed
NUKEM: The fact still remains that this country has to have a currency to operate on. Plus their new states that they want their currency to be THE ONE so they can de-dollar use!
NUKEM: wow, that didn't come out right
Sassy: So how does everyone feel about the tariffs? Do we need a change in value of the dinar?
] NearTheSea: forsure, hope its coming soon
chattels: ‹@Sassy› my encouragement about the tariffs has always related to inflation - many say that inflation is a friend to our liquidity event
Sassy: ‹@chattels› I am sure counting on that
chattels: i doubt that there is any singular event that we can anticipate being " THE : condition precedent or attendant to our event - that would be TOO predictable, IMO
NUKEM: chattels: I have to go to bed now but not before I thank you for all that you do for us! I appreciate you very much!
chattels: but there is the possibility that they are " hiding the RV in plain view "
Sassy: ‹@NUKEM› Good night my friend
chattels: ‹@NUKEM› very fine to see you again - come back soon :)
NUKEM: Sassy: it is great reconnecting with you again also! I am so glad to "see" you again! I continue to pray for you!
chattels: ‹@NUKEM› gn
Sassy: ‹@NUKEM› Prayers are always appreciated. thank you
Sassy: I start hair at 7:30 tomorrow.I need to say good night also
