chattels: Much is being made of statements attributed to the IMF and the entry of Iraq into the world economy in 2016 by various pundits in " dinarland ". The pundits would have you believe that this intention to enter the world markets REQUIRES that our dinar be worth more money, the long awaited and much anticipated " RV ".
I do not believe it to necessarily mean such. Our liquidity event is not transparent. There will not be a set of conditions met precedent or attendant to an " RV ".
If that were so evident and obvious then everyone could and would know it in advance. Our event is NOT PREDICTABLE, IMO. Any time that a pundit tell you that IT must happen they are deceiving themselves and maybe you.
chattels: The likelihood of our liquidity event occurring under the political and socioeconomic conditions extant in Iraq today in the near(er) term is remote, IMO.
chattels: Pace yourself. Do not develop any expectations as to any event(s) or day certain. Keep the faith, hope for the best and may we all finish the journey with a happy ending.
