2-2-13 Wxman: Last year I posted a bank story from the main branch of Chase in N. CA, where the private banker rep handed me a leatherette portfolio for private banking after I completed a wire transfer to purchase Dinar.
When I asked him why he would hand this to a customer who only had $200.00 in their bank, his supervisor told me, "We value and appreciate your investment." That was a huge vote of confidence for me.
Today ( Friday 2/1/13) I was checking on my Safety deposit box at the main branch in another N. Ca town. After the completion, the young male attendant asked if there was anything else he could help me with.
I reminded him that I was in his branch a year earlier to have a sit down discussion with his branch manager regarding our speculation.

He remembered me and that I was a teacher too. I told him of our high intel right now and that I would like a phone call in the event of an RV. Without hesitation we walked over to his desk. He told me that he had a few others on a call list and would add my name.
I gave him my card, shook his hand and thanked him for treating me like a real customer. It felt great to have not been mocked or laughed at which Has never happened to me.
I went to my local Chase branch just 30 minutes later. This is the branch where everyone knows me as well as info regarding my speculation project.
I spent some time updating "Tom" the assistant manager on the intel we are getting to prep him in the event of an RV.
He then proceeded to tell me that in May of this year his relatively brand new branch is getting totally remodeled and will include a CPC office. "What's a CPC office?" I said. He told me CPC stands for Chase Private Client.
He then said when the RV happens the CPC manager will take care of everything I need. I made sure they knew I was going to bring all my business there even though we are not putting all our eggs in one basket. I walked out pleased again.
Not a major bank story but another small piece to the post RV pie
