PM Abadi is betting that those who will lose privileges in his reform drive will be overpowered by protesters in streets, backed by clergy
Moqtada Al-Sadr says he will call his followers to 'fill the streets' if Abadi's reform bill is stopped
ehankons : This is from post 229 it's last paragraph from the last thread:
“The supreme religious authority and through Friday prayers demanded that Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi expedite and seriousness in fighting corruption and carrying out a comprehensive plan for reforms in the country.
This is an awesome display of security and even more it's awesome authority. This time it's from a man Abadi whom is of "good authority." See ya corruption. It's time for the citizens to humbly take their place of honor. What a patient degree they show.”
Purifiers : IMO, When an article tells us "THIS TYPE" of news.... (security speaking).... it has ALREADY BEEN ACCOMPLISHED.
Don't want "kitty" to get out of the bag!
Backdoc: I'M SO GLAD THAT MALIKI WILL BE BROUGHT TO TRIAL!! VERY IMPORTANT! SO GLAD TO BE WRONG ABOUT HIS EXIT TO IRAN. HEEE HEEE
HE MAY BE HORSE SOONER THAN HE THINKS! LOL

Abadi face to prevent the travel of senior officials, including al-Maliki
Baghdad-Iraq-Presse -10 August / August: security sources at Baghdad airport said on Monday that the security authorities prevented Vice President Nuri al-Maliki of travel, after the decision of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi prevention of a number of officials from traveling after rising popular protests demanding accountability corrupt.
Quoted "toss" Colonel Mohammed Saadoun al-Moussawi say, "Abadi decided to travel ban on Iraqi state officials accused of corruption, as instructed closure of airports in front of all those responsible."
According to al-Moussawi, the Abadi instructed to ban travel by air and land to officials of the Iraqi state to those who are the rank of director and above, until the completion of the special files of corruption investigations have been opened recently, noting that al-Abadi instructed also to freeze the movement of seven officials said they were senior to travel outside the country.
Abadi said Sunday that his government does not bear the accumulated mistakes of the political system over the past years but stressed at the same time that the responsibility for reform lies with the government.
And received the approval of the Council of Ministers reforms package included a Cancel key positions deputies of the Republic and the government, and the dimensions of all the top positions for partisan and sectarian quotas.
It also included reducing its ministries and agencies to raise efficiency and reduce costs, and the abolition of the special provisions for the presidencies of bodies and state institutions and officials, retirees, and the opening of the previous and current files of corruption under the supervision of the Commission, "Where did you get this."
It came the package after one day call the Shiite cleric Ali al-Sistani to Ebadi to to beat corruption "iron hand" and to appoint officials based on merit, not on the basis of party affiliation or sectarian, and also after protests swept through a number of Albulad.anthy provinces.
