Mother Esq: Cart Before the Horse! (Retail vs Brokerage Side of Banking - Going to the Bank)
Not sure where to start so I will first say, I have always had a problem with sequels. They are not ever as good as the first picture show. Am I allowed to use that term “picture show” Showing my age!
The first Matrix was the best Matrix Reloaded . . ho hummmmm. Same with others. . . So what I am going to do is not rehash what I have already shared.
By now this community should know where I stand on all this setting up of Trusts/Foundations/LLCs before facts are known. I have been consistent because I have done this kind of work most of my professional life.
I believe in their uses but only after facts are known, goals and objectives clearly defined and a methodical process has commenced with all affected parties.

Mother Esq: Comments & Reflections:
I have been reluctant to make postings for many various reasons.
• Often I state something and I am questioned by “arm chair quarterbacks”
• I am asked for legal advice and I feel guilty for not taking time to respond, but neither should I.
• The information shared is ad nausem — I have shared over and over during the years and yet the same questions keep coming up. . .At some point I have to realize that “Some Will, Some Won’t, So What”.
How to Deal With Sudden Wealth Syndrome and Manage Newfound Riches
By Amy Livingston
A lot of people have fantasized about suddenly striking it rich. They imagine that a financial windfall – inheriting a fortune from a distant relative, collecting royalties for a best-selling novel, or even winning the lottery – would make all their dreams come true. They picture themselves traveling the world, lounging on beaches, sipping champagne under blue skies while palm trees wave in the breeze.
But when this dream of sudden wealth actually comes true, it often turns into a nightmare. Instead of feeling happy and carefree, people who get rich quickly tend to become stressed and anxious. Their relationships often suffer too, as the money creates distance between them and the people they were once close to.
Sometimes, the newly wealthy try to comfort themselves by going on a wild spending spree. Unfortunately, this often makes matters worse. If the money isn’t as limitless as they thought, their newfound wealth quickly disappears, leading to even more stress.
These problems are so common that psychologists have given them a name: “sudden wealth syndrome.”
Within my agreements it will be stated that i am not to be contacted by anyone other than the guy/gal (Wealth Manager) that I decide to do business with, no salesmen, nobody (unless you want 200 people calling you). That my contact info is strictly private and his/her "EYES ONLY".
Also, that all my new personal or business account information is wiped from all front teller screens and assistant manager screens etc...and only accessible by the ONE GUY IN THE BACK. …my Guy.
And, the agreements include that NONE of my info will be distributed to anyone without signature and personal waiver lifting those restrictions on a case-by-case basis. I want to set it up the way it best suits and my lifestyle.
If that all goes well... and you're happy there...they are cooperating and friendly...and you feel good about it and, you're settled in. And you've decided to go with the person at that bank or maybe their team...its time to get down to business.
Even though Daz passed away last year- there are some good tips in his exchange plan ......some things may not still be relevant or fit your personal situation.....just use what you feel good about and ignore what doesnt...RIP Daz
