Naieli said in an interview for the Sumerian News, "Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi will present candidates for the vacant ministries after the Eid al-Adha," noting that "all the names will be presented to a basket and one for the House of Representatives."
He added that "these names do not stray too far from the quota system and political consensus," saying the reshuffle "step in the right of way to choose a competent minister for the advancement of the ministries."
The Information Office of the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi revealed, on Thursday (25 August 2016), about the existence of "intensive contacts" to resolve the cabinet reshuffle and submit the names of candidates to fill the vacant ministerial portfolios "soon", stressing that the Abadi is studying the proposed names for the ministries to "high accuracy".
